Gorgeous place!
Beautiful place, really peaceful and felt like you were truly alone. David was amazing, kindly helping us take our gear down to the site from where we left the car. About 20 minutes from London so close to anything you could want for dinner! Little muddy due to the time of year (autumn) so make sure to bring appropriate shoes!

David’s place is great. Went with my young kids and they loved it. We had poor weather and the hosts even came to check on us, offered us shelter if we needed it (we didn’t, but they were very accommodating). We’ll be back next year and try to pick a date without thunderstorms!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The views were beautiful, and the creek area was such a lovely place to explore and spend time as a family. There was so much nature around us that it really gave us that authentic camping experience without feeling like we were completely cut off from civilization.
For first-time family campers, this spot was perfect. We got to enjoy the peace, fresh air, wildlife, and outdoors while still being close enough to anything we might need. It felt like a real camping adventure without being overwhelming, especially with kids.
The area was beautiful, relaxing, and gave us the perfect balance between nature and convenience. We would definitely recommend it to other families looking for a genuine camping experience, and we would love to come back again!

What a beautiful little oasis just a short drive away. Lovely hosts and a gorgeous space, very private and well maintained. Options to tent in the shade or sun and a beautiful view right beside the river. Will definitely go again. Dog friendly. Bring your water shoes and plan to play in the river.

Another awesome camping for me and my family, we dint care even its pouring rain, grand daughter was so thrilled wearing her rain outfit. Hubby and son in law went fishing nothing stops them even its pouring.
The host David, I appreciate you so much for taking your time to check on us when its pouring rain and offered your bunker for us to move.
Its our third time to camp at Monarch meadow we love the place its peaceful, our last night finally the rain stops we saw the star and fire flies its magical.
Definitely we be back again next year. The best of the best to camp with family or a couple.

We had a wonderful stay at Monarch Meadows. Thank you, David, for your hospitality and flexibility throughout our trip. It’s a beautiful, private campsite right on the river, with a large shade tree, plenty of room for games like soccer or catch, and excellent bird watching. It was the perfect setting for a special father-daughter camping adventure. We’d happily return.

Monarch Meadows has to be one of our favourite camping spots. It’s peaceful and beautiful. The river water was so nice to relax in. We watched fireflies light up the night and woke to the sound of coyotes howling in the distance. Such a magical place

S240 Bike Trip

We had a wonderful time at Davids. We enjoyed the solitude down by the edge of the Thames River. We were able to listen to the birds chip, listen to the wild life. The best part for us was since we biked in was purchasing the tent package. Having everything set up and waiting for us was just perfect. It is very rustic and a bit of a hike to get to the spot. Well worth the effort. David and his daughter made it easy with taking our bike panniers down in his 4wheeler and letting store our bikes in his barn.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the site had sun until around 2pm which was ideal as we had a hot few days - the shade of the tree was very welcome. The river was perfect for cooling down. The outhouse is basic (bucket with a lid) but it worked, no issues. David was responsive and made himself available to move our stuff up & down. We'll be back!

This camping spot was amazing and David was super helpful and kind! It was peaceful and quiet, lots of wildlife too! We got paid for the upgrade where David sets up a tent, air mattress and lends us a mini generator for charging as well which was totally worth it. We also have lots of dogs and it was a perfect spot for us and them.

What a gorgeous spot! It feels really private and my dog loved romping around in the river. Also a great spot for bird watchers - lots of bald eagles, herons, sparrows and song birds! I was also treated to a chorus of coyotes in the night, I loved it!

We had a such a great 2 nights at Riverview. David was waiting for us upon arrival, which was great for me and my 2 kids. I recommend the Glamping bundle- we were later arrivals and earlier departure, so it was nice to not have to set up and dismantle a tent. Perfect site for the kids and dog!! Will definitely be back.

My second time to camp at Monarch Meadows Tree Farm these summer, brought my family 21/2 grand daughter and a dog what else to say we all “LOVE IT” we had so much fun, played games, guys went fishing for hours. Storm on our first night but nothing stop us, like my husband said its camping lol, but the best of all star gazing the moon is out so beautiful.
David was so accomodating he will help you in every way to make you feel home, and his daughter who was with him on the day we arrived shes a sweetie.
Definitely were going back to camp again, its peaceful place to enjoy time with family and life in nature.

My second visit to David’s property and once again it was excellent. David is a fantastic host and the camping site is wonderful. Lots of shade - which was very helpful during this heat wave. And a beautiful view of the river - which I love.
