Our glampsite at Marmora Retreat is tucked into a peaceful corner of the property. We have three glamping domes on site, that look out over our alpaca field. Enjoy wide open skies, fresh country air, and uninterrupted views of pastureland. Our two Boho-Luxe domes blends elevated comfort with the simplicity of outdoor living — plush beds, thoughtfully designed interiors, spa-inspired washrooms, and private decks made for slow mornings and star-filled evenings. Step outside and you’re immersed in the heart of the farm: a herd of gentle alpacas roaming nearby, horses in the distance, and open space that invites you to wander, pause, and breathe a little deeper. For those drawn to a more classic, rustic glamping experience, our Sky-View Dome offers a simpler, wood-stove–forward stay that feels closer to traditional camping — just with a little more comfort. With panoramic views and a cozy cabin atmosphere, Sky-View invites guests to tend the fire, layer up on cooler evenings, and fully embrace the rhythm of the seasons. It’s ideal for those who appreciate the charm of a hands-on, back-to-nature escape while still enjoying the beauty of the alpaca fields and open countryside. The alpaca field is more than a backdrop — it’s part of the experience. Guests often find themselves lingering by the fence with coffee in hand, watching the herd interact, graze, and curiously observe their human neighbours. Sky-View Glamping Dome
Great little glamping spot! Furnished with everything you need, including drinking water, bedding, and towels. Very helpful host as well. The dome is off-grid but not in the middle of nowhere. There are a few houses nearby and a venue on-site, so you won't get complete silence, but it still feels very private. Marmora is super close and has everything you need - groceries, LCBO, pizza, etc.

Sky-View Glamping Dome
I booked this for our anniversary trip. It was so perfect. Very private and the dome felt like a little home. The alpaca farm was so cute. I would come again! It was the experience of camping, but I didn't have to put in half the work of setting up a tent. My dog really enjoyed it too because he was able to walk around and see all the wild turkeys. This was just what we needed. I absolutely loved it! Although the hot tub wasn't working, they offered us to use the swimming pool as an alternative by the farmhouse which was so nice. I love how friendly and responsive they are. I have only good things to say. I plan to come back.

Relaxing Getaway!
Sky-View Glamping Dome
We had a fantastic stay at the dome and were pleasantly impressed by how serene and beautiful it was! Everything was extremely clean and facilities were easy to use and added a relaxing experience. The wood burning hot tub was a major highlight! We saw lots of wildlife, starting with wild turkeys less than 10 minutes after we arrived! The solar lights on the deck provided just the right amount of light for a beautiful night atmosphere and we enjoyed a campfire. Coffee on the deck and visiting the alpacas was a peaceful start to our day. Thanks for a great stay!

Sky-View Glamping Dome
The dome was super cool! It's huge inside! Very cozy and has everything you need. Beautiful deck with couch and solar lights and hot tub. Brendan was a great host and very helpful! The hot tub takes a few hours to heat up which we knew so just make sure you keep checking the fire to make sure it hasn't gone out. Wish we could have had better weather the day we arrived so we could have gone for some walks to check out the trails. We had some issues with smoke coming out of the woodstove but Brendan responded right away and came to figure it out. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

SUCH A FUN GETAWAY!
Sky-View Glamping Dome
My girlfriend’s trip to Brendan’s accommodation was nothing short of incredible. The snowy night added such a fun aspect to it. Communication and booking with Brendan was very simple and straight forward. Check in was super easy, once arriving the pictures don’t do it all justice. Such cool and unique space. Starting of the wood stove and hot tub was a little tricky but figured it out. I’d recommend anyone with little or no experience to take advantage of his fire starting services to relieve hassle and avoid wasting time. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed, bbq did the job, the bed and furniture were lovely. The Done did get pretty warm inside despite it being a chilly night and day. The wood burning hot tub was a very unique experience for us, it was so nice and peaceful to lay in during the morning, we even had some turkey visitors who came to say hello! My girlfriend is the furthest thing from a camper so she was beyond skeptical but had an absolute blast and loved every bit of it!!

Overall we had a great experience. Property is large. Dogs enjoyed walking throughout. The dome itself was super cute - bigger than you would think given the pictures. We would recommend using their services to have the dome prepared and toasty for your arrival and if you’re planning on using the hot tub, that warmed and ready to welcome you too! Please be well versed with use of wood burning stove if you visit in chilly months… you will be using this steady throughout your stay to get the dome to desired temperatures/keep it warm! If you’re looking for a remote & private dome experience… this is it!

This is such a beautiful place to stay, and the owner answers quickly with anything you may need help with! Definitely would recommend packing layers and bringing lots of extra firewood and kindling in the winter time. Would also recommend paying the extra fee to have the hot tub and wood stove fires started. Otherwise, they have everything you need to have a great time!

We had an excellent time at Open Sky. The dome is exactly as described and our host was very helpful and welcoming. The unit was clean and functional, with an effective wood stove. If it’s below -10 I can recommend a sleeping bag or a very stoked up stove. Our host introduced us to a local chef, available in the off season, who prepared an outstanding meal for the occasion of my wife’s birthday. Marmora is a quiet town with all you need. There’s plenty of other local towns to visit and lots of hiking opportunities in winter at nearby conservation areas and frozen cottages lakes. Would gladly return.
