Relax by the creek listening to the flowing water or take a dip in it on a hot day! The property is surrounded by large mature trees and has a big open field in the middle and a creek running through it. There is a large firepit with adirondack chairs for bonfires. The firepit is closer to the house but still fairly private as it is situated in front of the unoccupied walk-out basement. If requested I can provide a firepit table and a charcoal grill that you can keep closer to your campsite. There is also a deck off to the side, close to the parking spot, with a table and 5 chairs.

Lots of wildlife comes through- deer, beautiful birds of all kinds, hawks, owls, frogs, squirrels, chipmunks, fox and more! I keep my grass short and try my best to keep up with the weeds, but I do not use any chemicals or fertilizers whatsoever.

There are quite a few forest preserves and trails nearby for hiking or biking. Driving through the neighborhood you might see horses, chickens, and a peacock. This property feels like you are in the middle of the woods but if you drive 5 minutes to Randall Rd. there is pretty much any restaurant or store you could ever want.

Pets are welcome. The property is not fenced so pets will need to be leashed or well-trained not to run off onto the neighbor's properties. I have a small dog and a mini-pig, and I can keep both out of the backyard, unless you'd like to meet them.

I have a very large driveway with a large spot on the side that is perfect for an RV/camper. I have had a 45 foot school bus (converted into a home) parked there in the past. Right in front of this parking spot is the entrance to the beautiful backyard. It really is a gorgeous slice of nature that I am excited to share with other nature-lovers.
