If you want privacy and seclusion this is your place . Our family lives on 80 acres 8 minutes from the town of Campbellford. We are on a dead end road out in the country. Upon arrival simply turn into our driveway and drive right past our house following the dirt path. Turn left just down the hill to the River. We are located on Bradley Bay on the Trent river with kms of lock free boating between Percy Boom and Glen Ross . We are located across from an island called Anderson island. Pike, pickeral, bass , Muskie ,channel cat ,and pan fish are in these waters. Our point is very private with plenty of birds and wild life to watch . We have one of our trails marked clearly threw out the woods for you to enjoy . We have a complementary canoe, 1 adult kayak, 1 adult SUP and 1 child’s kayaks . Life jackets and boat safety kits are also available . On the point we have a small fire pit and 2 docks. 1 of the docks face the river and one is up our little lagoon . A wonderful place for adults and children alike to fish , swim , relax and catch frogs and fire flies. We do have a few chairs and a child’s little turtle pool to swim and play in. The point is a long narrow grassy area. There are about 3 spots you could park a trailer . We think currently the max length would be a 24 foot trailer we could accommodate until we are able to open up the area a bit more. A small fishing boot about 14 foot and under could be launched at our water entry otherwise the closest public launch is about 5 minutes down the road . If we plan it ahead we have water from our well from a hose available. We are happy to let you fill your trailer up with water from our house hose on the way down to the point or any jugs you may have. Otherwise Ferris Provincial Park is about 7 minutes away. There is a water filling station and dumping station there for a small fee from the park. Things to do In area is the well known suspension bridge located in Campbellford. Doohers bakery and the Empire Cheese Factory and Chocolate Factory all within 10 minutes from our house . We also have local Breweries in the area, one being about 8 minutes away called the Fogorig Brewing. Campbellford is full of little shops and stores. It’s a beautiful walk back towards our house and down the laneway to the road as well. Great quiet country road for children and adults alike to go for a bike ride or walk along the road beside farmers fields where usually deer and sandhill cranes are seen. We usually touch base with our campers a week or so before there arrival date to give exact directions to our house via Hipcamp message. Upon arrival if arranged ahead of time we can be here to meet and greet you and ensure you are settled in. Otherwise there isn't a guarantee we will be at the property upon arrival but we can ensure that we will always have someone by phone for you to reach if need be at all times.

A private piece of Prince Edward County! An adorable little retro styled bunkie on a private woodsy property that’s just a fifteen minute walk (or three minute drive) from a picturesque rock beach on Lake Ontario. Tucked in privately from the road out of site by a bunch of junipers and other trees located on the property. The bunkie offers a nice queen sized bed, a little area to the side with chairs and a table to relax if you need to get out of the sun/rain, and a very chill 70’s beach vibe. If the wind is just right, you will be able to hear the waves crash from the beach! The property has a perfect little hangout area where there is a nice big fire pit, patio table/chairs, as well as a portable bbq (you will just need to bring your own little Coleman propane cylinder with you.) If it’s a nice clear night, stare up to the sky and you may see the Milky Way above! There are a couple short loop trails that you can walk your dog on that loop from the bunkie/hangout area that will loop you back to either spot on the property. I just ask you to be respectful of cleaning up after your pets if you bring any. There are some pylons located in areas on the trails to indicate not to go past those any further due to it being not maintained past that those points. The land is located on probably one of the quietest roads in the County. You may see more off road vehicles if your on your way to the beach then you would cars. There is also a little outhouse located at the front of the property off to the side of the driveway. Twenty minutes from the town of Picton where you can find any amenity you require! A gorgeous town with tons of great restaurants, wineries, breweries, farm stands, artisans and shopping. Check out the rest of Prince Edward County by just adding a few more minutes to your trip in any direction to explore our other great towns around the community. So much to see and do here, lots of sightseeing, nature trails, conservation areas and don’t forget the world famous Sandbanks provincial park! (The largest sandbar beach in Canada). Perfect getaway for a couples glamping experience, some peace, quiet, and relaxation, or to just let loose and have a great time! There are no houses to either side of the property, so there’s no worry to be quiet 😉.

Another fantastic camp stay at this beautiful farm! We loved our new spot on the property just as much as the last one. From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us back with open arms, making us feel right at home. The magic of this place is all thanks to the incredible hosts who treat every guest like family. We had a great time visiting with the farm animals and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of their barn. The provided firewood was a thoughtful touch that made our nights around the campfire so much easier. The amenities are excellent; the outhouse was impeccably clean, and the dishwashing station made cleanup a breeze. This is truly a special place! <3

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely loved our stay at Judy’s Yurt! From the moment we arrived, Judy’s kindness and warm welcome made us feel right at home. The property is truly special — peaceful, private, and filled with natural beauty. The yurt itself was clean, cozy, and very comfortable, giving us the perfect balance of rustic charm and relaxation. We especially enjoyed the sauna, which was such a treat after a day outdoors. The natural swimming pond was refreshing and serene, and the separate pond full of turtles and wildlife was magical to sit by — it felt like stepping into a little nature sanctuary. Judy’s property is a place where you can completely unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else. The time we spent here was absolutely worth it, and we left feeling refreshed and grateful. We would highly recommend Judy’s Yurt to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway and can’t wait to come back ourselves!

Absolutely nothing negative could be said about this trip. From the host to the land to the location to the amenities - it was the perfect spot. Micheal - couldn't have had a better host – so friendly and positive and quick to respond – everything you would want in a host. The land was perfect for many tents (flat) with a nice fire pit and beautiful view of the barn (that was lit up) and the land around. The location was close to small towns - looking forward to exploring more than what we did on our next booking. Amenities - from the barn with the record player and ping pong table to the dish washing station to the hot tub (we didn't have time to enjoy but next time!) to the bathroom facility to the volleyball court to feeding the horses and sheep and the vegetable basket received on arrival. All around it was perfect and exactly what we needed. Looking forward to our next trip up there.

Camped with a group of 10, lots and lots of tent room! The land was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and very well upkeept. Theres a beautiful barn to hangout with that has lights when it gets dark, a ping pong table and lots of chairs and tablespace for meals. The flowers grown theyre are so pretty and the animals are so cute! They had a wood-burning hot tub and small cold plunge, super nice toilets and a shower, all with working water as well as a new outhouse installed that was nice. Theres some waterfalls super close by too. I highly recommend here, the stay was amazing, the host Michael is so friendly and the whole experience went so perfectly for our group! ❤️

It was so peaceful and serene at Jays bunker retreat. Enough room for my pop up trailer as well as two cars, though it was just me and the pups this trip. Super close to the most gorgeous beach (Point Petre) and nice clean level site. The bunkie is the CUTEST with adorable decor and the perfect rustic feel.

Truly an amazing spot! The bunkie was very stylish and the set up was really well thought out. We stayed here for two nights and had the best sleep ever. We swam a bunch at Point Petre and it really made the trip for us. So much beautiful nature and so much privacy too. The host was very communicative and responsive! I will say that the bunkie can get pretty hot during the day, so I recommend choosing activities outside of the site during the day! Also make sure to pack some bug spray, the bugs were abundant and the mosquitoes were hungry at night. That being said, the bunkie has a very air tight mosquito net situation and while you are in it, you are 100% bug free which was amazing! Plus, bugs are part of the deal when you go off the grid and it was a 1000% worth it. We would def recommend and stay here again!

2 nights at Juniper Beach Bunkie

When I arrived at the site, asked for an extra day because of how awesome this place was. Three nights turned out to be the perfect amount of time to explore everything we wanted at Sandbanks and enjoy the camp site. Even four nights would’ve kept us entertained! You can tell a lot of thought went into designing this spot. We especially loved being just a 3-minute drive from a stunning rock beach, perfect for sunsets and feeling refreshed.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mike and Jen's farm! The property is idyllic – on top of the camping experience, you really can't beat playing the piano in a century-old barn – and Mike and Jen were incredibly helpful and generous hosts. Our kids loved meeting the animals and had a blast in the hot tub "pool". I hope we get to visit again in years to come!

We had a wonderful time on Shannon’s land! The location was perfect—right on the channel with beautiful views. We really enjoyed having access to the kayaks and canoe on the property. It was such a treat to explore the water. There’s also firewood available for purchase, which was convenient. What we especially loved was the privacy and spaciousness of the site—it made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Highly recommend!
