Hemlock Point Campground is set on a private waterway fed by the Black River, nestled among forests and rocky ridges. The river offers a few different swimholes easily within walking or paddling range, as well as some decent fishing and wildlife sightings. Each campsite is spacious with a private driveway, outhouse, picnic table, and more. As well as using the canoe provided, campers are also welcome to hike the marked and groomed waterfront hiking trails throughout the 56 acre property, and just down the road is Mt.Moriah, a Buddhist Center, and numerous backcountry trails, reserves, and lakes. ATV's are permitted on the road, (gateway to trails to Lingham, Deer Rock, Caniff, and Skootamatta Lakes) and friendly dogs are welcome off leash. This is a unique gelogical landscape, situated between Mt. Moriah, the Elzevir pluton complex and the Black River in an ultramafic zone, with coloured quartz veins and pillowed granite outcroppings. Mixed forest with varied species of deciduous and conifer trees - due to aerial seeding after a forest fire over 80 years ago, leaving charred stumps that can still be found from natural char preservation. Home to pileated woodpeckers, hawks, eagles and kingfishers, otters, fishers, salamanders, brown river trout and everything in between, either from the vantage of a hammock or on a hike in the forest this natural site won't disappoint.

Our campsite is available in the spring and summer and is just 20 minutes from the city of Chilliwack, BC. We provide a fire pit and campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban. (then you can have a propane campfire)
The sites are quite private but there will be other campers nearby. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk.
We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi.
Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug.
We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, cold plunge and sauna retreats, and more!
The stargazing at night is beautiful as there is no light pollution here.

Had an amazing time here! The site was beautiful, clean, and well-kept — everything you’d want for a relaxing getaway. The amenities were great and made the stay super comfortable. Daric, was absolutely awesome — friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend this spot and would love to come back again!

Ridgeview - Lot 1 gave us some incredible Instagram-worthy moments by the river! The trees on the property offered the perfect balance of shade and sunlight exactly where we wanted it, making it easy to set up our tents and hammock to relax. :)
We really appreciated the tented picnic table that Daric provided - it served as a critter-safe storage space for our food at night and a convenient prep area during the day. It was also located just a few steps away from the propane BBQ grill, which made cooking super easy.
There were two firepits to choose from, and we were provided with plenty of firewood for our stay. The canoe (with paddles and life jackets) and a set of bicycles were a great bonus - such a fun way to explore the area!
Daric stopped by to introduce himself and check in on us, which we really appreciated. He's a great host.
We also liked that the parking spot wasn't right next to the tent site but a little up the way—it gave the campground a more peaceful, secluded vibe.
Overall, a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

Hemlock Point was a great spot. 10/10
My wife and I stayed there for 4 nights and could have stayed 4 nights more. We lucked out with the weather, so that also contributed to a great time.
Situated on tranquil black pond with lily pads and lots of frogs. We even saw a big beaver!
Daric, who was a great host, obviously takes a lot of pride in his land, maintains a nice hiking trail around the pond that made for a lovely morning hike.
Nice bon fire pit in the evenings under a million stars.
We had a great time.
