Heavens Acres has been a stop over since the 1850's for people travelling by horse from Toronto to Owen Sound. We have 100 acres surrounded by another 200 acres of conservation land. There is camping in the pine forest as well at the very back of the property where you will find a hardwood bush with trails. Please note that the hipcamp map shows a large body of water on the property, as does google driving maps. It is a marsh, not a lake. Google Earth shows it better. There is however, a creek and pond, but don't bring your boat. :) This is a "LEAVE NO TRACE" campsite, so please take all garbage when you leave. Please note that in the winter months. There’s a $25 surcharge. This is required for snow removal to access the sites that are at at least 1 km into the bush. We are in a snow belt area and it is very difficult to keep the sites open in the winter. Four-wheel-drive is required for access in the winter!

We do have to be careful that it doesn't turn to a dog gang as this happened once and they took down one of my goats. The goats Hon and Chewy are okay but it took months for poor Hon to heal. I also worry about the chickens so please keep and eye on your dogs! Lots of treed areas for private camping, horseback riding hiking and walking! Bird watching is big around here as we are on a bird migratory path. We are just above Winchell Lake and less than 10 km from Water Valley Golf Course and Saloon. Please recognize that you are visiting a Ranch not a campsite. We are sharing our piece of heaven with you and you are helping to support our animals and their heaven. Chickens are "True" Free Range and hand fed every morning. Eggs are $10 a dozen to pay for their feed. :) Every spring the rain tends to cause ruts and washes out some of the road on the way to the back forty where the meadow is. We gather rocks on the property to fill the ditches but the early part of the year the roads can be bumpy. Please ask the conditions of the road when you book if you have concerns. Thanks!

Chickens are "True" Free Range and hand fed every morning. Eggs are $10 a dozen to pay for their feed. :) Every spring the rain tends to cause ruts and washes out some of the road on the way to the back forty where the meadow is. We gather rocks on the property to fill the ditches but the early part of the year the roads can be bumpy. Please ask the conditions of the road when you book if you have concerns. Thanks!

We strive to provide a place to enjoy the peace & quiet of nature, so it's not a place to party or have music loud enough for any neighbours to hear. Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest and bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise. Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer and fall & has world-class fishing. The area features Class I–IV rapids, ideal for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just minutes away. There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the covered picnic shelter. There is now a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for some protection because of the drop-off & undercut banks (not shown in the pictures). We have an endless network of trails and logging roads, perfect for ATVs (ride directly out of our gate), hiking, and biking. Whether you’re seeking adrenaline or tranquility, this property offers both. ATV's are idle in - idle out only. QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them. LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights. CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times! FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full & is available between 8 AM and 8 PM. BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef for sale and we occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens. Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! The gate must be kept closed because of them. If you prefer, we have 6 bare-bones fishermen's cabins. Come camp on a 40-acre parcel backing onto crown land mountains and wake up in front of 10 acres of vineyard and a view of Okanagan Lake! There is a small cabin and two camp sites to choose from. Site 1 is best suited for tents and small campervans, less than 18' or so (though people with small trailers like tear drop campers have been fine). Site 2 has a much larger flat area that can hold RVs up to 30'. Cabin available for those that want to sleep in a cozy bed and have a warm fire :) Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know! Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. Peachland is within easy reach of over 200 estate wineries and microbreweries.

Learn more about this land:This comfortable and spacious yurt is located on the 30-acre property of the historic Paisley Mill along the Teeswater river. With three large windows, a dome skylight, and wool felt insulation, the yurt provides a wonderful "glamping" experience. There is a double bed and a single bed in the yurt along with a cooler, table, chairs, and storage space. In the future there will be solar power, but right now the lighting available is by a battery powered lantern (provided). Next to the yurt is a picnic table, fire pit, and a sawdust toilet. There are basic utensils, plates, bowls, pots and pans available in the yurt. Bring your own: camp stove, water, bedding, pillows Important to Note: The only heating source is a wood stove. You need to be comfortable using a wood stove safely to stay at this yurt. While the yurt site only a short distance from the main mill residence, it is secluded and offers a beautiful private camping space. The town of Paisley is only a 10 minute walk from the yurt. There is a grocery store, bank, LCBO, and a few really delicious restaurants in Paisley. The yurt is a 20 minute drive from Lake Huron and the beautiful beach towns of Southhampton and Port Elgin. You will love visiting nearby MacGregor Point and Inverhuron Provincial Park with their beautiful walking trails and beaches.

We have the absolute best time staying at Micheals cabin this past weekend. He is a fantastic host, very welcoming (He even came to us to show us a brand new chick he was keeping warm in his jacket!) The cabins are lovely, have everything you need for a comfortable stay in the woods. The local area is beautiful and we made some amazing steaks over the fire. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing a little affordable get away!

I loved my stay in Michael's Woodland Cabin. It was the perfect blend of tiny house living and camping. The outdoor bath under the stars and short hiking trail in the forest through lush ferns and moss made my stay even more special! Perfect spot to unplug completely (or even sneak in a little work while enjoying the view of the mountains and reliable internet, to boot). Add in the easy check-in/out, quick responses to questions and friendly host means I will be back!

My children and I loved our stay at Rick's place. Tha cabin and airplane are in great shape and nestled in the middle of the woods. Rick was a good host and everything was as we expected.
