Here’s what you’ll enjoy during your stay: • A peaceful bunkie tucked in 40 forested acres • Queen bed in a cozy loft (accessible by ladder), a fouton and a king • Fire pit with wood, 2 grills, and a shaded gazebo • Simple kitchen setup with 2 person dining table, cooler, utensils, and BBQ • Shower with warm water, shared toilet & outdoor well water tap • Outdoor Nature Shower - cold water only • Picnic table for outdoor dining • Dog-friendly space with lots of room to roam • Trails for exploring, star-gazing, and reconnecting • Electricity (solar-powered) • Hydro and running water WHAT WE PROVIDE • Bed linens and pillows • Basin for sponge/cloth baths • Toilet paper • Grill for BBQ (bring your own charcoal) • BBQ utensils • First aid kit WHAT TO BRING • Drinking water • Ice & food • Coal for grilling • Extra blankets • Bug spray, sunscreen, garbage bags Washroom & Shower: A shared washroom with warm/cold shower, toilet, and outdoor well-access tap is nearby and easy to access. Water & Electricity There is no drinking water on-site—please bring your own. Electricity is available in the bunkie (solar-powered). Wi-Fi & Cell Service: There is no Wi-Fi and very limited or no cell service. Plan to unplug and enjoy the quiet. Garbage: There are no large garbage bins and no road side pickup. Please be prepared to bring your garbage to the dump during your stay, or you need to bring it home with you to dispose of. If any garbage is left behind a $75 cleanup, transfer and dump fee will be charged. Temperature & Seasons: The bunkie is available year-round, however, it is not insulated. If you are coming in winter or intermit weather, we are assuming you "know what you're in for" and will pack and dress appropriately to be in the bush. In winter, the road may not be plowed and could require a short walk in. Bring extra blankets for chilly nights.

Great little spot, small, cabin. Great for two people. There is a 2nd level Bunky but it might be a little tight to sleep in. Recommend for two people Max. Very rustic, yet well built cabin. Wood burning stove was easy to use. Note pit toilet ia open to elements. Quiet, location, sweet little forest. Lots of great birds to see including woodpeckers in the surrounding forest. Went in November for a micro sabbatical would be nice to go back in the summer. Host very attentive, and considerate. Highly recommend.

Second time at this adorable cabin. Very well stocked but also minimalistic. Great place to extend the camping season if you don't have a hot tent. As always really enjoyed the wood stove and the quiet and calm of the open field. Really melancholic sitting by the fire and watching the geese migration at sunset

5/5 Stars. Truly remarkable David’s land was extremely peaceful and easily accessible. What stood out the most was how quiet and private it felt; you could actually relax and hear nature around you. The property was well kept, and the host was friendly and responsive. There’s plenty of open space for camping, a nice fire pit area, and great views (especially at sunset). Perfect spot if you’re looking to unplug for a bit. Not a Negative, however, this property appears to have high activity of coyotes, located approximately 50 - 100 feet away from Site 2. Coyotes are fairly timid and gutless animals but be cautious if bringing pets and or little ones, as the cries and howls can be a bit overwhelming. Coins in a can is a must-have to startle them peacefully.

Beautiful location! The host is very hospitable. There is electricity and water hookups. You can bring your rv or tent! There is a little river to canoe or paddle boat on. There are trails to walk all around the property! Overall great time will be back next year for a longer visit! One note, if you're bringing an animal make sure you clean their paws lol the ground has sand mixed with grass.

This place has become my favourite year round trip! Between the quiet and the lovely farm, the animals and the adventures you can conquer I SUGGEST COMING BY AND STAYING ! Plus OBVIOUSLY BROOKS AND RUBY the best tour guides you can ask for, so lovable and so welcoming! It's like 10 minutes outside of Woodstock so supplies are easy to come by and the market they have makes it even better for farm fresh foods!!! Highly suggest staying here and enjoying the lovely accommodations they have!

Lots of trees and room for the dogs to run. Property lines for the roadside houses are clear but it's a bit unclear where this property ends. There are some nice spaces to set up and some very pretty meadows. You can hear some noise from neighbouring property but the space is completely private.

We brought our little teardrop out and stayed at the Fringe camp site. It was a quiet weekend, with just took farm sounds. We were in town to do some day trips and check out the area and the campsite was exactly what we needed.
