FREE Firewood can be gathered on the forest floor or pay for on-site pre-cut wood. Outhouses are close to campsites....but not too close 💩
Port Rowan is only 12 minutes away by car, most amenities can be purchased only 1 minute away at the local Busy Bee gas station.
We are situated in the middle of a Recreation Hotspot! Our site is within 3 minutes of paddling the Big Creek, 3 to 10 minutes to several A+ hiking trails, 15 minutes to amazing freshwater beaches of Long Point and Turkey Point, and the area is abound with cycling trails, motorcycle routes, geocaching, boat launches (we have room here for your boat!), cider/wine tours, and more! We are the perfect basecamp for everything the Long Point Bay area has to offer
We have some great watering holes nearby like burning kiln winery, hounds of Erie and Charlotteville brewing company.

For swimming we recommend the beautiful beaches in Rondeau Park, only a few minutes away! Also, you can walk or cycle to town for an ice cream or groceries.

What a fantastic spot — truly a Magical Forest as the name suggests. On my first night I pulled in, set up camp, spent the evening around the fire, and honestly thought I was the only person in the whole park. The next morning, I wandered for a walk and realized there were other campers around, but that’s how private and peaceful it felt.
The woods are absolutely beautiful, opening up to surrounding farmland that makes for some stunning photography. I kept my bird ID app open throughout my stay and was thrilled to record a number of new species.
This campground is the perfect way to get off the beaten path and experience something different from the average provincial park. Quiet, scenic, and full of character — I’ll definitely be back.

The site was absolutely breathtaking! The view was so incredible, the site itself was perfectly maintained and carved out amongst their beautiful property. Hearing the splashing waves from the lake with all the other natural sounds was so relaxing. Our host was extremely helpful and friendly, and they made sure we had everything we needed including firewood before they left us to our privacy! We drove almost 3 hours from our home to stay here for 1 night and it was so so worth it, we really hope we can come stay again some time. We can’t get over the beautiful and private space we were able to enjoy!

Nice large sites, Rechelle and son RJ did their best to ensure it was clean and were helpful. I would recommend to a friend or family member, and would like to return. Only downfall is no electricity hookups so it will be a good idea to bring an inverter for anything you need powered.

Had an amazing time on such a beautiful property, the store close by came in help. Would recommend for somone who wants to camp near a bunch of trails and fpr those early risers you may see some deer!

We had such a wonderful experience at this private campsite! From the moment we arrived, everything was peaceful, clean, and well taken care of. The site felt private and tucked away, giving us the perfect mix of relaxation and nature. The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The grounds were spacious and quiet, with lots of room to set up comfortably. We especially love the sunset view in the evening and how they put a swing on a tree for kids to enjoy! You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into creating a comfortable, safe, and family-friendly space.
If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway where you can enjoy nature without the crowds, this is the place to be. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a private camping experience.

I was a bit hesitant to go to this campground because of the reviews and some bad experiences with private campgrounds in the past. This one far exceeded our expectations. The hosts were very accommodating and well organized, and their property is beautiful. The campsite was easily accessible, and the hike to the beach was long but well worth the effort. We loved the stay there but another group of campers were playing loud music till after midnight. We ended up calling Rechelle and she promptly addressed the issue. The firewood was plenty and they also filled up our gallon and got it to us. 10/10 for this campground.

We had a great time camping on Angela & Erik’s property. Our corgi has never been able to go off leash at a campground before and she had an amazing time zooming around our site and touring the area. The campsites are well maintained, set up well, and my partner loved the fire stick that was provided so much I may have to figure out how to make one 😂
For folks who are used to camping at KOAs or conservation area campgrounds, this may be a bit “back woods” for them. The only things we noticed were that the campsite isn’t necessarily as private as the other reviews make it out to be, especially since it’s preferred that you pee outside (there were a couple of times I think I locked eyes with someone in another site while squatting, LOL) and the composting toilet takes some getting used to as far as the smell (which is to be expected).
Quick drive to both Turkey Point and Long Point beaches but quite far from anything larger than a convenience store (about a 25 minute drive to the grocery store in Delhi). Appreciated being able to prepay for wood and have it ready at our site as well. We had a couple of beach days and a couple of camp days and we would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to disconnect while still being somewhat close to civilization.

Great little spot to stay for a couple nights. It was my 4 year old daughter’s first camping trip and she had a blast. Very calm, well kept and safe environment. Only a few minutes away from long point and a number of little shops and restaurants near by.
