Port Rowan is only 12 minutes away by car, most amenities can be purchased only 1 minute away at the local Busy Bee gas station.
We are situated in the middle of a Recreation Hotspot! Our site is within 3 minutes of paddling the Big Creek, 3 to 10 minutes to several A+ hiking trails, 15 minutes to amazing freshwater beaches of Long Point and Turkey Point, and the area is abound with cycling trails, motorcycle routes, geocaching, boat launches (we have room here for your boat!), cider/wine tours, and more! We are the perfect basecamp for everything the Long Point Bay area has to offer
We have some great watering holes nearby like burning kiln winery, hounds of Erie and Charlotteville brewing company.

The Pine Bunkie at Tiny Farm is a two-storey, off-grid, solar-powered pine bunkie on a small, beautiful five-acre hobby farm outside St. Marys, Ontario. It sleeps two comfortably, and it's the kind of place made for good books and evenings around the campfire.
The main floor has a sitting area, a small kitchen with a fridge, sink, and coffee maker, and a BBQ outside for cooking. The loft above, reached by a ladder that's part of the charm, holds a queen bed with east-facing windows. Leave the window open and let the sound of birdsong be the first thing you hear in the morning.
Outside, a fire pit with red Muskoka chairs looks out over fields and a hedgerow that hums with birds and butterflies all summer. Your first fire is on us. When you're ready for more, the Kinsmen sell firewood right at Broken Rail Brewery, seven minutes down the road and a perfectly good excuse for a pint.
The bunkie has a composting toilet in a private outhouse. Full instructions are posted inside. Guests tell us they stop thinking about it after the first hour.
The horses love the attention of new friends. The chickens roam freely and will find you on their own schedule. The dogs are friendly and will definitely visit you. The pace is slow. That's the point.
Seven minutes away (a 15-minute walk through the field), Broken Rail Brewery pours excellent beer. We may see you there. The village of St. Marys has a sweet main street, proper coffee shops, and the kind of afternoon stroll that costs nothing. The Quarry, a stunning natural limestone swimming hole, is one of southwestern Ontario's best-kept secrets and entirely yours to discover.
Open from the May long weekend through September, when the hedgerow is full and the fire pit earns its keep.

The campsite is located in a nice spot within a 15 minute drive from town where you can grab some essentials. The tiny house is simple, modern, and comfortable. Bless the air conditioning and mini fridge. I love the colours and the interior design. The bed set up is minimalistic and just the way I like. I booked one night here. The experience eliminated a lot of distractions. With my tv and laptop at home, I was finally able to focus on reading a book for several hours. Although it is a long drive from home, it would be nice to come back here.

My son and I had a wonderful stay at Cherry Hill Farm! Liz and Jason are such kind and lovely hosts and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. We got to explore the chicken coops, walk the trails and pick fresh apples off their trees. The campsite was well maintained, quiet and private. The RV was clean with a comfy bed and even had electricity which was an added bonus. We will definitely be returning!

My partner and I are so glad we chose the Bunkie for our anniversary trip this year. Despite being fairly independent anyway, we extend our gratitude to Val for providing just enough resources and amenities to make our trip worry-free. The site is perfectly secluded and a great spot for birders! Being visited by the dogs and horses was a lovely highlight of our stay as well. The St. Mary’s and Stratford area have plenty to offer for both nature enthusiasts and city folk alike. It was a difficult departure but a memory made for life! Val and family were great hosts. Max the dog came for a visit and made fast friends with our Bear dog.
We had a relaxing and peaceful stay. Lots to do in the area as well. St Mary's is a charming little town with lots of walking trails and a beautiful dog park and the river.

2 nights at Cherry Hill Hobby Farm
Discovered a little gem! Beautiful, private, welcoming, and tranquil. Highly recommend Liz's land.
The camper was clean and comfortable. Many sleeping options - big comfortable double mattress with a pull divider for privacy, twin bunk beds in the back with a curtain for privacy, a table that can fold down and a sofa that folds down too!
You will want to spend your time enjoying the beautiful land and trails. Berry bushes, herb garden, tea garden, and a sugar shack too!
Lots of woodland creatures singing their songs. Birds, frogs, squirrels. Love the music of the forrest.
Breakfast was breeze with the propane stove top. I recommend meeting the chickens and roosters and purchasing some fresh eggs!
Liz and family make you feel right at home. You could be visited by the family kitties too :) Can't say enough about about how warm and welcoming this gem is.
A generous free first fire wood pile made dinner and marshmallow time simple and relaxing.
Bear dog loved his stay too! A short, beautiful winding road drive to Port Burwell dog beach. Happy dog and I loved it too!
I only wish I had booked more days.
Can't wait to visit again!

Cabin was spacious, very few mosquitoes (but flies are still plenty). It’s nice that there is a Keurig machine and coffee pods provided, but I think it eats so much power that it causes the generator to start beeping loudly, especially if you have something else plugged in, like an electric cooler. Keep in mind if you are staying during any rainy or overcast days, the generator is solar powered and may not have enough for your appliances. Bring your own if you must. Floor was a little dusty when we checked in. The shower’s water pressure is not great either even after following the guide on how to work the shower. I understand they probably don’t want you using too much water, but just something to consider.
Other than that, really appreciated the grill, grilling racks, charcoal and logs for the wood stove provided. The hosts were very quick to answer any questions you have, and the value and location is worth it. Aside from the shower and some power issues, I’d say this is quite comparable to the provincial parks!

Weekend Trip to Tiny House | Nordic Spa | WIFI
We had a wonderful time at the tiny home. The place was very clean and cozy, and the sauna and hot tub worked fantastic and helped us de stress from our hectic lives. Would definitely love to come back!

1 night at Cottonwood Manor
I rode from Guelph to stay a night and finish the G2G trail. Great place to stay! The shower worked great as well.
They have a few chairs available in the bunkie which is great to use by the fire. An easy walk to town to get dinner at Anna Mae's Bakery and Restaurant!
The owners are very kind and helpful as well!

Nice little cabin with electricity. The fan was key as it was a bit warm the night we stayed. We were driving through, and we have a couple of pups that need space, and this place worked out perfectly for us. It was a bit of a sandy area, so trying to keep dog feet/ all feet somewhat clean took some thought, but overall we would stay again.

Weekend Trip to Spring Arbour Magic Forest &Trails!
Spring Arbour bunkie id one of a few bunkies in Angela and Erik's Bush, directions were very clear, communication was excellent, from the directions given at the booking to notes inside the cabin and also the outhouse.
The cabin inside was exactly as described, with bottled water and a solar power provided as well as a fireplace inside, s wonderful addition.
Lots of firewood was provided and available for purchase, as well as chairs to sit on around the fire pit and on the little porch.
I can't say enough just what thoughtful and kind hosts Angel and Erik are.
We will be back sometime!
