***OPEN ALL YEAR***
We are happy to share our 137 acres of land with you. Mike and I are experienced campers ourselves and avid nature lovers. We love meeting like-minded campers. Visit our website at www.lifeon137.ca.
This is the best place to enjoy camping in the wilderness. We offer a very secluded area for a peaceful camping experience.
We have 10 beautiful sites to choose from! The campsites are for tent camping only. All sites have been groomed and include a fire pit for campfires and open fire cooking. Each site includes a cooking grill for the fire pit. Campsites 1-6 and the Tiny Camper + site all have picnic tables. The Cabin in the Woods and the Bunkie by the Pond are unique OFF-GRID sites.
Located near campsites 1-6 and the Hidden Gem is a simple but very clean outhouse with composting toilet that uses wood shavings to absorb moisture & keep smells down, hand washing station and an outdoor shower. The shower is a manual (not heated) pressurized tank system. Campers who want to enjoy a warm shower should pack a pot for heating the water. Water jugs are provided for carrying water to and from your campsite.
***The outdoor shower is open during the warmer camping season***
All campers will receive a shuttle ride to the site (with their gear) on arrival. Campers may borrow our yellow wagon to take gear in and out during their stay and when checking out. We also provide shuttle rides on departure, on request (with a 1 hour notice). Shuttle rides are only provided on arrival and departure. Guests are encouraged to walk and enjoy nature throughout their stay.
The walk through our beautifully groomed trails from parking to campsites is 7-10 mins.
We look forward to hosting you.

Hidden Gem (Tent Camping)
Perfect place to camp the sites are all well spaced out enough not to roll out of your tent and look to see your neighbors.
Shouldn't be saying too much it might get busier if people find out about it.

Site 2 - on the water
Great place
I stayed at camp 2. I was welcomed to ask if i needed anything otherwise i was left alone never saw or heard a soul.
It was a very windy nasty night but the site and my gear held awesome. I experienced a bit of the ugly side of mother nature and won. Thats the good stuff.

Site 6 - on the grass
Great for singles and friends.
Great place to camp if you want some personal time with friends and family away from the hustle and bustle. Best for singles and friends as there is a bit of a trek to the camp ground which is challenging for large groups. Hosts are super helpful and welcoming.

Mike and Annie were warm and welcoming hosts. They also shared their knowledge about foraging and wildlife, which added an educational dimension to my stay.
Overall, my stay was a delightful blend of nature, learning, and warm hospitality. I highly recommend Mike and Annie's campsite for those seeking a peaceful retreat with friendly hosts who value nature and its conservation.

Hidden Gem (Tent Camping)
Backcountry Haven.
Annie and Mike are awesome hosts. You feel cared for and appreciated from the moment you arrive. I love that they deliver water and Wood, and you, if you want, to your site. The property is well-maintained and the sites are secluded. I stayed at the hidden gem for one night. it’s deep in the woods so you feel like you’re much farther away from the city than you really are. The scenery is breathtaking.
Annie showed me some wild edible mushrooms to add to the eggs they have available and I made a delicious omelette.
I can’t wait to go back!
