This is a secluded and quiet property tucked back off the road in the bush. Lots of room to roam, trees to relax under and let your dogs run. We have three dogs that roam the grounds and are a welcoming committee.
We have lots of sites tucked into the greenery for privacy. We operate a vintage trailer restoration shop on site and have lots of interesting units around.
There is firewood on property to purchase. We have a convenience station to wash dishes. Potable water and ice to purchase. We have showers outdoors with hot water.
The newest addition to the property are two goats that think they are dogs and will greet you.
We are on the boarder of a hiking trail that is accessible from the property. So if you’re looking for a hiking spot you can start here.

The terrain is mostly flat but interesting. Campsites are private with good separation from each other. ALL sites have 2 car parking, a picnic table, fire pit and covered wood for purchase. Campfires are permitted according to our approved burn plan before midnight.
5G/LTE cellphone service is good for Bell, Rogers and Telus networks. We have 3 outhouses on the premises and an outdoor hot shower.
FREE Firewood can be gathered on the forest floor or pay for on-site pre-cut wood. Outhouses are close to campsites....but not too close 💩
Port Rowan is only 12 minutes away by car, most amenities can be purchased only 1 minute away at the local Busy Bee gas station.
We are situated in the middle of a Recreation Hotspot! Our site is within 3 minutes of paddling the Big Creek, 3 to 10 minutes to several A+ hiking trails, 15 minutes to amazing freshwater beaches of Long Point and Turkey Point, and the area is abound with cycling trails, motorcycle routes, geocaching, boat launches (we have room here for your boat!), cider/wine tours, and more! We are the perfect basecamp for everything the Long Point Bay area has to offer
We have some great watering holes nearby like burning kiln winery, hounds of Erie and Charlotteville brewing company.

The ‘Long Point Birding Area’ in Norfolk County is one of Canada’s premier birding locales. With over 400 species of birds observed, Long Point looms large as one of the most exciting places on the continent to observe our rich birdlife.

Our 2.5 acre property is located just outside the small village of Millbank. The large lawn area is great for camping, campfires, playing games and relaxing while watching the horse and buggies of the local Amish and Mennonites go ambling by in a manner that speaks to a time gone by. We have now added a Bunkie that can be booked for a more comfortable camping experience. The Perth Harvest Pathway section of the G2G rail trail is quite literally in the backyard. for hiking , bird watching and biking. Wake up in a pine loft to eastern light and birdsong. Climb down to start the coffee. Step outside to find our resident horses, Cleopatra, Captain Insano, and Fletch, already watching you from the field.
The Pine Bunkie at Tiny Farm is a two-storey, off-grid, solar-powered pine bunkie on a small, beautiful five-acre hobby farm outside St. Marys, Ontario. It sleeps two comfortably and it's the kind of place made for good books and songs around the campfire.
The main floor has a sitting area, a small kitchen with fridge, sink and coffee maker, and a BBQ outside for cooking. The loft above, reached by ladder, which is part of the charm, holds a queen bed with east-facing windows. Leave the window open and let the sound of birdsong be the first thing you hear in the morning.
Outside, a fire pit with red Muskoka chairs looks out over fields and a hedgerow that hums with birds and butterflies all summer. Your first fire is on us. When you're ready for more, the Kinsmen sell firewood right at Broken Rail Brewery, seven minutes down the road and a perfectly good excuse for a pint.
The bunkie has a composting toilet in a private outhouse. Full instructions are posted inside. Guests tell us they stop thinking about it within the first hour.
The horses love the adoration of new friends. The chickens roam freely and will find you on their own schedule. The dogs are friendly and will definitely visit you. The pace is slow. That's the point.
Seven minutes away (15 minutes walk through the field), Broken Rail Brewery pours excellent beer. We may see you there. The village of St. Marys has a sweet main street, proper coffee shops, and the kind of afternoon stroll that costs nothing. The Quarry, a stunning natural limestone swimming hole, is one of southwestern Ontario's best-kept secrets and entirely yours to discover.
Open May long weekend through September, when the hedgerow is full and the fire pit earns its keep.

We had a lovely time at the Pinecone Bunkie. Privacy, quiet, Clean and nice. So close to Long Point and so easy to get there from our Bunkie. The Bunkie was clean and quaint...nice fire pit, comfortable beds, room for everyone to relex and enjoy our time. Dogs had a great time too, they can't type so they are barking their review and I can't understand them. Our Bunkie will be reserved again!

A perfect getaway for a busy couple to just unwind. We live only about an hour away so it was nice to not have to drive so far to find something secluded and that it was... Totally private with all the amenities you need to just relax. Sitting in the hot tub while listening to the babbling brook beside you is just so peaceful. The host was very friendly and responsive.

Getting there was very easy, they even made a track for us right to the bunkie since the snow had been bad the days prior. Felt very secluded and was a perfect weekend! My boyfriend and I absolutely adored Ben’s cabin. It was so beautiful and we had the best time. The host has went above and beyond to give us guests a great experience when staying here. We were just so amazed by the property. And the touch of Christmas was the cherry on top. We plan on coming back at least once a year. We especially loved the seclusion, peace and quiet, and being right in nature in a luxurious cabin. This is the absolute best place for a relaxing trip. It definitely exceeded our expectations. And Ben is a very friendly and attentive host, and responds quick with any questions or concerns.

Spring Arbour bunkie was a magical experience for my husband and me. Although we were alone in the forest on our mid fall trip, we felt such a sense of peace cozied up in the glow of the wood stove. What a thrill to go up for a scenic ride in Erik’s ultra light two seater plane. We really lucked out finding this hipcamp. The instructions were excellent and the hosts very responsive.

The bunkie was great. Very cozy and comfortable. It was fantastic to have access both the forested area, and an open field for watching the sunset/sunrise or stars at night. Highly recommend this location in the fall when the leaves are changing. Close to Backus Woods, where I had a lovely hike as well.
Host Communication: 1/5
I was given too much information. Bombarded with four different text walls of instructions, rules etc. all saying almost the same thing but slightly differently (or contradicting one another sometimes).
The only personal communication (aside from several pre-written ones) I received from hosts was a message that said "Okay only if you need please ##########." This was in response to my request that we communicate by phone number once I leave my house since I do not have internet on my phone. Honestly, it made me feel like I was bothering them if I had questions while I was there - and I did end up having questions about how to safely operate the air intake on the woodstove but I just decided to keep it to myself.
Value: 3.5/5
This place was awesome, but a touch expensive. After paying an extra $22 for firewood (necessary - it was close to 0C at night) and cleaning fees (I did all the cleaning because I was told to leave it better than I found it. There are not even sheets to change) it was 270 for 2 nights. At that rate, I expect to at least be welcomed by the hosts.

Fantastic little well-equipped bunkie with excellent privacy on a quiet and spacious lot! Chris and Denise were wonderful and very easygoing hosts who ensured our group had what we needed and gave us a quick tour of the site before giving us free range for the duration of our stay. The shop has an impressive array of trailers onsite to gander at while there, and the shop building bathroom was a nice luxury to have for group camping. Loved our time there, a very unique spot to spend some time.

We had such a wonderful stay! The property is truly special, it accommodates a big group comfortably with plenty of space, and the outdoor kitchen is so well thought out and fully equipped. The cabin is cozy and has electricity, and the showers were spotless and easy to use. We loved the private hiking trail, picnic tables, and direct access to the beach, it made the experience feel peaceful and secluded. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into creating this space, and it shows in every detail. Jon was also responsive and warm. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway.

We stayed at Jon’s amazing site with a group of six families, and we all enjoyed every second of our time there. The site is so well set and equipped with everything we needed and more! The private beach is large and beautiful, and the short hike to the beach is itself a funny adventure. We were pleasantly surprised that mosquitoes and flies seem to not even exist in the area. Fantastic weekend all over, we are definitely coming again.

I don't think I can gather enough amazing words to describe this magical tucked away experience. Turning off the road you are met with a gate and no trespassing signs. Smile & wave to the camera up on the right and know you are safe as you lock the gate behind you. Multiple sites to park rv's will greet you as you drive towards the cabin. Two of which I noted had electric hookups. The absolute darling little cabin greets you as you notice the huge firepit surrounded by bold red Adirondack chairs. They have cups holders that even hold wine glasses! The outdoor kitchen has absolutely everything you could need to prepare delicious meals from a huge BBQ to a plug in hot plate & even a griddle. Wine opener & utensils galore await in the cute wood cabinets. The outdoor HOT shower and FLUSHABLE toilet are treasures in such a setting. There is a boardwalk that boasts AHMAZING views & you can hear the waves! Borrow the path behind the kitchen and you will poke out cliffside with a ladder & wooden planks snaking down to the waters edge. Dogs may need assistance here. WEAR CLOSED SHOES! The beach itself is 100% secluded other than the far away boats you will see. If you go past the cement block you may run into other beach walkers. Keep your eyes peeled for beautiful beachglass, I found tons! If you should feel inclined, bring a trash bag & help keep this serene place clean from the surprises that can wash up on shore. The ONLY less desirable thing was the spiders haha 100% recommend!

Breeze through windows + sound of the waves a real treat! Plenty of tenting area options throughout the property. Showers with two removable shower heads and hot water! Outhouse plumbing & clean, all equipped w motion lights. Incredible outdoor kitchen area, working fridge & sink! Underneath storage, storage container loaded from electric coil burner - tp, plenty more to offer. Option of ordering from charming town of Port Burwell just minutes drive, famous submarine tour, dog treats at ice cream parlour. Trail to private beach through forest camping, spiders exist. Insects did not bother us but recommend dog friendly bug spray for your fur babies, proceed down small vertical ladder, (helped dogs here) a rope is then provided should you need. walk down wood planks to short scramble and on your own private beach area, warm and shallow! Large fire pit, string lights give beautiful ambiance. Picnic table along bluffs boardwalk, beautiful sunset and stars. Bird watched drinking morning coffee overlooking vast Lake Erie.
