The cabin was super cozy and clean. Really nice area with beautiful view. Also super private and the host was really great.

We had the pleasure of staying at Alycin's for the weekend. It was exactly what we needed. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Alycin and given a tour of the property. The property was incredibly private and BEAUTIFUL - carefully and meticulously cared for with abundant wildlife.
Thanks, Alycin, for sharing your private wildlife sanctuary with us. We look forward to our next visit.

We had a wonderful time at Echo Hill Wildlife Habitat. Alycin is a great host and the land is so beautiful. The serene pond, lovely cabin and amenities were perfect. We loved our stay and look forward to coming back again soon.

What Alycin and her father have done with this property is amazing, a pure gem. I did enjoy my stay beyond expectation. I could not believe the amount of wildlife on this relatively small property and the pond was a real attention grabber, better than television. I definitely will be returning at a later date to unwind again. It is nice to know that such a place exists in this fast paced world we presently live in. My wife and I would like to thank Alycin for all the amenities that are provided at the cabin and throughout the property and above all the solitude....priceless.

Alycin's property is truly amazing. The wildlife around the camp site provided hours of enjoyment. There are nice trails throughout the property, lots of different environments to experience, and incredible views. Alycin herself is a fantastic host, and has done a fantastic job of building a wildlife sanctuary.

The place definitely has its charms! It was just what we needed for a weekend away. It was incredibly private. It was handy to have the cabin to store food and nice to have shelter for back up if the weather turned but we slept in a tent, hung our hammock in the trees, had campfires and did absolutely nothing for 2 days. We didn’t see much wildlife other than some birds and heard lots of coyotes at night. There was some distant noise of the neighbours at night, but otherwise very quiet. We had two cloudy nights so can’t speak to stargazing. The hiking trail on the property was a bit lack lustre but still worth exploring. Overall significantly better that being surrounded by others when car camping, and much less work than back country camping! Would recommend for anyone looking to have a quiet private stay in some nature

I had the pleasure of staying on Alycin's beautiful property for 14 nights and it was the best camping experience I have ever had!
I used my tent, but the cabin was amazing for storing everything I had with me, which was too much...lol…it was very clean and the screened in porch is cute and would be of use to those bothered by bugs, which surprisingly were almost nil while I was there…the walk to the site did require bug spray though.
The vibe of the land and the abundance of nature really provided me with the immersive experience I have been seeking for years! The scent of the forest...and the meadow...the raspberries here and there...
It's just you and nature...if you want it to be.
Stratford is a convenient place to shop and it’s a nice town too…very pretty downtown area.
Alycin is an amazing host and unless you require anything, you would not know she lived just beyond the Willow and up the hill.
Carefully and thoughtfully cared for property. The trails are well marked and beautiful. Deep respect.
The observations and occurrences over the two weeks were astounding! I got to know, as much as one can in two weeks, the muskrats, several individual frogs, vultures, turkeys, squirrels, and I even had the opportunity to witness hundreds of baby catfish scan the pond for food throughout the day....and an extra special treat was being graced with a glimpse of the snapping turtle and the magical bubbles that appear on the surface as they too, make their rounds of the pond...I could actually go on forever, but that's not the point here...if you know, you know, and you'll experience it the way you need to...it won't be for everybody, but it is totally the perfect retreat for me.
It truly was the most peaceful and nourishing trip I have had the pleasure of experiencing, and I hope to return next year...and knowing what I know now, I will be even better prepared to immerse myself … oh, and with way less stuff too...that hill back to the car is a doozy! :)
Helpful hint...unless you’re an ultra ultralight camper….A wagon is helpful…
and listen for the owls at night….amazing…and the coyotes…..see, I can’t stop ….

We had a beautiful stay at Alycin’s property. Only 19km from our home, we felt like we were very far away in our own private natural oasis. The grounds were meticulous and there was a small cabin which we used to store our food. It would have come in very handy if we had rain. We enjoyed daily hikes through the trails and evening fires by the pond. Nighttime sounds included bull frogs and coyotes. I brought a wagon which worked great for transporting items from my truck to the campsite as I was camping with my kids. They enjoyed the area as well. We took them swimming at the Quarry in St. Marys to cool off. We would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, private camping experience.

We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend!! Pac light & bring bedding! We brought a cooking tripod & skillet for cooking. Stratford is near by if you need Tim's in a.m. Highly recommend this hipcamp!!
