The cabin is adorable and the privacy factor is unbeatable. Very safe and secluded. We really enjoyed the place, however, the only path to access the cabin is 400 meters through long grass and we all came out with multiple ticks.

We had a great night at the cabin!
We were longing for the camp fire in the evening, so we enjoyed the stars while roasting marshmallows. The cabin was very cozy with the wood stove. Scott had the place stocked with lots of dry wood for both the campfire and stove.
We both slept well on the fold down futon. The mattress was very comfortable.
We played cards, games and just unplugged from the world.
The cabin was a short 1.5 hrs from home and was a great get away from the city for a night. We look forward to our next visit.

The Cabin
Stayed with my dog as a treat for his bday and it was so lovely. Loved the wood stove and the rustic feel of the cabin. We'll definitely be back as this is great for winter "camping" when it's too cold for a tent

An amazing stay at the cabin. Well equipped. Great location for stargazing. The wood stove kept us nice and warm for an early February stay. Owner is responsive and very accommodating. Thank you for a great getaway.

We really needed a quick night out of the city and Scott's place is the perfect little getaway! We happened to be there when the Northern Lights were visible and had an incredible view! Great spot to relax and unwind away from it all.

We love the area specially the small cabin. Our dogs enjoyed till they got tired. The host is kind and giving clear instructions.

Very neat cabin away in the woods ( far away walk from road). Private area to yourself. If you go in at night, bring a flashlight, garbage and blankets to start your journey. Dogs can for sure be off leash. They loved it. We all did

What a fantastic little cabin! We had a great time in a cozy, warm, dry cabin. The wood stove was great, the wood was dry, and the futon was comfortable. Scott had marked the path well, easy walk to get to it, and the cabin had everything we needed including a splitting axe, water, lanterns, and a bag to pack out garbage. Can’t wait to come back when the trees are full!
