Wildwood Cottages

Wildwood Cottage sits on 6.5 acres overlooking Otonabee River. In the spring summer and fall we have 6 cottages and 2 bunkies. November to April we keep 3 cottages open with hot tubs and wood burning fireplaces. You can watch the birds off your porch, go for a swim at the beach, use a complementary canoe or even rent a boat or seadoo to explore farther!

In the summer months we offer a swimming area equipped with kayaks and water inflatables. In the winter, there is a skating rink when the weather permits! Generally Jan & Feb. Dec and Mar the weather sometimes is not cold enough.

One of the best things to do any season - sit at your own fire pit and enjoy the clear sky full of stars while listening to the sounds of natures. 

We are also pet friendly!

The campsite is located on a lot nestled in trees approximately 1 hour from Toronto. 

LAKE
Canal Lake is a lake of Ontario, Canada, situated in the City of Kawartha Lakes. 

HISTORIC MONUMENTS
The "Hole in the Wall" bridge was built in 1905 and is also known as the Canal Lake Concrete Arch Bridge. It was designed by the federal Department of Railways and Canals. It is located on Centennial Park Road on the southwest side of the Trent Severn Waterway bridge, northeast of Bolsover. The bridge was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1988. 

FISHING
Canal Lake is a medium size lake with a large diversity of fishing spots. There is a variety of fish available including largemouth bass, pike and muskellunge (muskie) and an abundance of panfish.

• Bolsover is home to the Western Trent Golf Club 
• Check out Bexley Golf Centre just west of Coboconk & Balsam Lake Provincial Park. They are a Butter Tart Tour stop!

We have a beautiful, densely treed, and well-groomed 1-acre piece of property in desirable cottage country that's craving company! The mature trees, rolling terrain, and private road offer lots of privacy and a peaceful atmosphere.  It is within walking distance to the world-famous, Panam Summer Games host " The Minden White Water Preserve/Rapids", which is used for kayaking and hiking. The fall colours around this town is absolutely breathtaking at this time of the year(we visited in October)

Lake Cottage Getaway

This cozy, tranquil cottage is surrounded by gorgeous lake views. Sitting on the edge of Lake Scugog, there are many activities to enjoy nearby including fishing, boating, swimming, paddling, and more!There are also plenty of adventurous trails just minutes away from the cabin where you can hike or bike. The activities nearby are endless.The cottage is located in the middle of Port Perry (a 20-minute drive) and Lindsay (a 25-minute drive). The cottage is equipped with a couch, bed, tv, mini-fridge, coffee maker, electric cooktop, sink, and cooking utensils. Other amenities include potable water, a toilet, shower, picnic table, and wifi. Campfires are permitted and pets are welcome.I look forward to hosting you and sharing my little slice of paradise with you!

Life here is laid back , relaxed and full of wildlife and our fur babies. Big Dog included. - We love to be outdoors , play guitar by the fire and eat good food with friends. Lots to do on the property. Canoes, kayaks, water sports welcome and lots of Hiking Fenlon Falls 15 min away.

Learn more about this land:Our 100-acre farmland property offers beautiful sunsets, lots of trails, and a creek running through it. We have 50 campsites for up to four guests each, and we’re located just 3 km north of Sturgeon Lake, providing a great base for exploring the Kawartha Lakes area and attractions such as Emily Provincial Park. Pets are not allowed – there are animals on the property. 
The property does not have potable water. Campfires are allowed. RVs up to 45 feet in length can be accommodated on a pull-through site. The grassy surface will require levelling. There are no hookups, and generators are not allowed. 
The town of Bobcaygeon is less than 10 minutes away, located where the river connects Sturgeon Lake to Pigeon Lake, the next lake over to the east. You can find restaurants, shops, and services here. Nearby attractions include Emily Provincial Park at the bottom of Pigeon Lake, and Balsam Lake Provincial Park and Indian Point Provincial Park, which both sit on Balsam Lake about 30 km to the northwest.
