This property was exactly what we were looking for! The area was beautiful and the sites they have to stay at are great spots to camp. The river that runs through the property was amazing. Will definitely be staying here again and would recommend this spot to anyone.

Camping at Angela's hipcamp was the perfect start to our weekend of canoeing/fishing!
The site was perfect! Right infront of the saugeen river. You can fish right at your site if you like fishing, just a few steps down to the shore line. There was a picnic table provided, which was fantastic! The fire pit is set up right under a clearing where you can see millions of stars on a clear night, it was beautiful and so peaceful. Nice even ground for your tent. Very relaxing atmosphere and as felt very private. Its a beautiful property. We added firewood to our booking, we definitely recommend doing that! We couldn't believe the amount of wood she left right on site for us! It burned so nicely and there was an abundance! She made our trip so easy and so relaxing! We will absolutely return with our kids next time!

Nice little quiet an isolated spot. Good tree coverage which helped keeping us dry when it started raining. There is a convenient firepit. We went in fall so didn’t swim, but the river is great. Possibility to go for little hikes

Beautiful location. We enjoyed staying at Lana's cottage. Close to a beach access and some beautiful provincial parks. Enjoyed that everything we needed was there. Loved the fires in the back yard. Great place to make special memories with our friends and family!

A little slice of heaven along the river.Beautiful trail to explore.Luke and Angela made sure I was taken care of.the site was very big as it overlapped onto the neighboring site for now so I could back in facing the river.Very shaded but I found sunny spots.Thinking next time I will try the Dam Spot.also sites are very private and spaced out.Great space.Great people.

We enjoyed camping on Luke and Angela’s property. We were accommodated last minute with a large group due to having to relocate because of the Wildfires in the North. Thank you very much!! Angela was very helpful and gave clear, easy directions to her property and site. It was spacious and clean. Firewood was stacked up neatly under a tree ready for use. There was another site nearby but not noisy and we still had privacy. The sound of the moving waters was quite peaceful. This was my second time camping on the property but a different site. I will definitely come back next season.

I'm thorned with this review because if I tell everyone that this place is the next best thing after paradise - on earth, I will not have a peaceful spot when I return next...
However, Angela and Luke went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible, it wouldn't be fair to not leave a positive review.
If you enjoy peace and quiet but still be close to all amenities, if you love beautiful scenery or go to sleep to the sounds of a lazy river, this is the spot for you! Lots of land to explore, gorgeous mature cedar forest, fields of different grains and cereals... I can't possibly enumerate all of what this place has to offer. Respectfully enjoy a one of a kind to keep intact this jewel of a retreat from the big cities' hustle and bustle. Love love love 💖

The last two yrs at Luke and Angela's campsite were both a wonderful time. The place is calm and quiet and the river is very clean and refreshing.
The host is friendly and welcoming and arranged a ride for us to go up the river further so we can float down on our tubes.

Wow, now we understand why the reviews are flawless… because this site truly is perfect. We stayed at the Dam Spot for two nights and loved every single minute. The site was private, beautifully maintained with neatly mowed grounds, spotless, and just steps from the river.
There’s something magical about waking up, opening the door of your camper, and being greeted with that stunning view right outside. It’s the kind of experience that instantly relaxes you and makes you never want to leave.
Angela and her husband were so warm and welcoming when they stopped by with their pups, and our dog loved the visit too! We absolutely look forward to returning as soon as we can, it’s a little piece of paradise.

This site was beautiful! Sheltered, but not too much! Lots of flies this year, but flies were bad everywhere this year! The river is shallow at the site, and not far down the river it opens up! Kayaking and floating were what we spent most of our time doing! The wood was dry, great for burning and we loved the option of buying our wood all at once with options for how much we needed! Lots of space on the site and to roam around! If you forget anything it’s just a 5 minute drive to Hanover!
We will definetly be coming back! We were a party of 5, and a dog! They were very accommodating when I told them about our GSD(she is reactive). The owner made it clear she just wanted us to really enjoy our time there and we definetly did!
