Well-kept trails to explore throughout. We are proud to have made the runner-up list for best Hipcamp in Ontario 2023 The terrain is mostly flat but interesting. Campsites are private with good separation from each other. Sites contain a picnic table and fire pit. Campfires are permitted according to our approved burn plan before midnight. 5G/LTE cellphone service is good for Bell, Rogers and Telus networks. FREE Firewood can be gathered on the forest floor or pay for on-site pre-cut wood. Outhouses are close to campsites....but not too close 💩 Port Rowan is only 12 minutes away by car, most amenities can be purchased only 1 minute away at the local Busy Bee gas station. Established in 1870 as a mixed farm for new immigrants to Canada to settle and begin their new life in Canada. In the early days the farm housed dairy cattle and pigs. Had pastures for cattle to graze and grew corn and wheat for cattle feed. In the 1980's the farm was rented by the University of Guelph to house their goat research livestock. Our family purchased the farm in 1998 to raise our daughters. The farm is located beside Trish's home farm, where she was a dairy farmers daughter growing up. Dean was raised on a beef farm. Dean & Trish meet in University studying agriculture. We began a beef business, and marketed our farm products through our website, www.whisperingmeadows.ca until we sold it to a young couple in 2016. Dean & I care about the land and the environment very much. Over the years we have have worked with the local conservation organization to plant treed wind erosion areas, improve farm drainage and grow crops using no-till practices. In 2010 we were awarded the Pasture Conservation Award by the Canadian Cattlemen Association. We take great pride in our farm and ensure it is managed using the best farm practices available. We grow a roation of corn, soybeans and winter wheat for food production. Ideal for a quiet getaway or short-term stay. High-speed fiber wi-fi is included allowing you to work away from the office.

practical place to camp. Not a lot of other ppl camping and sites are more spread out than provincial park camping. Firewood is available for a fair extra cost. horseshoe throwing, water to wash (but not drink), and easy hiking trails are included. Convenience store/lcbo nearby.

What a fantastic spot — truly a Magical Forest as the name suggests. On my first night I pulled in, set up camp, spent the evening around the fire, and honestly thought I was the only person in the whole park. The next morning, I wandered for a walk and realized there were other campers around, but that’s how private and peaceful it felt. The woods are absolutely beautiful, opening up to surrounding farmland that makes for some stunning photography. I kept my bird ID app open throughout my stay and was thrilled to record a number of new species. This campground is the perfect way to get off the beaten path and experience something different from the average provincial park. Quiet, scenic, and full of character — I’ll definitely be back.

We had such a wonderful experience at this private campsite! From the moment we arrived, everything was peaceful, clean, and well taken care of. The site felt private and tucked away, giving us the perfect mix of relaxation and nature. The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The grounds were spacious and quiet, with lots of room to set up comfortably. We especially love the sunset view in the evening and how they put a swing on a tree for kids to enjoy! You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into creating a comfortable, safe, and family-friendly space. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway where you can enjoy nature without the crowds, this is the place to be. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a private camping experience.

4 nights at Spring Arbour Magic Forest &Trails!

We had a great time camping on Angela & Erik’s property. Our corgi has never been able to go off leash at a campground before and she had an amazing time zooming around our site and touring the area. The campsites are well maintained, set up well, and my partner loved the fire stick that was provided so much I may have to figure out how to make one 😂 For folks who are used to camping at KOAs or conservation area campgrounds, this may be a bit “back woods” for them. The only things we noticed were that the campsite isn’t necessarily as private as the other reviews make it out to be, especially since it’s preferred that you pee outside (there were a couple of times I think I locked eyes with someone in another site while squatting, LOL) and the composting toilet takes some getting used to as far as the smell (which is to be expected). Quick drive to both Turkey Point and Long Point beaches but quite far from anything larger than a convenience store (about a 25 minute drive to the grocery store in Delhi). Appreciated being able to prepay for wood and have it ready at our site as well. We had a couple of beach days and a couple of camp days and we would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to disconnect while still being somewhat close to civilization.

Great little spot to stay for a couple nights. It was my 4 year old daughter’s first camping trip and she had a blast. Very calm, well kept and safe environment. Only a few minutes away from long point and a number of little shops and restaurants near by.

We had an amazing time camping at Jackie and Simona's. The site was great. They were super friendly. Just down the road a little bit from the camp site was a swimming spot that we visited almost every day with our dog. The swimming spot was amazing
