Tenters will be camping in the front fields and RVs will behind the concert field.

Situated in Caithness, New Brunswick, where the Magaguadavic River meets the Passamaquoddy Bay on the Bay of Fundy.
Once owned by high profile Saint Andrews-By-The-Sea resident, Robert Pagan, the property, like other properties in the area, was granted to American Loyalist Soldiers of Scottish Highlanders, and named for Caithness, Scotland, the place where Golf began.
When the US Revolutionary War ended, the King of Holland was chosen to define the boundary between the United States and Canada. He chose the “St Croix River”. The problem was, nobody knew where the St Croix River was. That name had been used by the French, but had not been used in a very long time.
Canadians believed the Schoduc River was the St Croix. American’s believe the Wolastoq River (now called the St John River) was the St Croix River.
The local North American Indigenous people (the MicMacs or Mi'kmaqs) told Robert Pagan of a place called “Bone Island” where their history told of Europeans living and dying there. Pagan did an archaeological dig on “Bone Island” and found the remains of the French colonists and their settlement. This proved “Bone Island”, also known as “Dochet Island” or “Saint Croix Island", was the site of Pierre Dugua, Sieur de Monts' ill-fated 1604 settlement.
Based on this, the Boundary Commission agreed that the Schoduc River was the Saint Croix River and therefore, the international boundary between Canada and America.
The survivors of the 1604/1605 fall/winter moved from St Croix Island to Port-Royal in Nova Scotia (two years before the European arrival in Jamestown, Virginia, the earliest continuously occupied European settlement in the USA).
Without the work of Robert Pagan, this campsite and half of New Brunswick, including the Capital City of Fredericton and half of the City of Saint John would have been part of Province of Massachusetts Bay (later Maine).
In the 1800's this property was part of a 1000 acre lot of land owned by two McKenzie brothers, Sea Captains. Since the late 1960s, the property was the summer home of Ben and Marg Leland, parents to 14 children and 50 grandchildren.
Today, there are four (4) separate fields available for campers - Barnes' Point, Charlies Garden, the Villa Point and the Main Beach.
The property has 2 miles of shoreline and several beaches to enjoy. The property even has a private island, Blueberry Island.
A really unique and quiet place to stay.

Natural long grass fields for camping, some mowed mid-season. There are several shale beaches on the tidal salt water. There is also access to the Fresh Water of the Magaguadavic River.
Kayakers looking for more of a challenge may choose to paddle the Salt Waters of the Passamaquoddy Bay past Midjik Bluff. Those looking for calmer and warmer waters, may want to choose to go from the campsite, up the Magaguadavic River to the beautiful Saint George Basin and the Saint George Gorge, passing the Three Sisters and the newest Bald Eagles Nest (at the most eastern end of the Campsite).
Pass by Silver Island arriving at the Saint George Basin. Disembark at the Basin Boat Ramp and take a short walk up Portage Street to Main Street. Enjoy an ice cream at Pete’s Dairy Bar. Also a short walk to the Saint George Mall, the Historic Granite Post Officer, the Saint George Dam, Fish Ladder, the Old Pulp Mill, the Country Market, and more.
A quiet spot, away from noise and light pollution, where the fresh water meets the salt water.

We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning.
Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway.
We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas.
There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

The terrain is mostly flat but interesting. Campsites are private with good separation from each other. ALL sites have 2 car parking, a picnic table, fire pit and covered wood for purchase. Campfires are permitted according to our approved burn plan before midnight.
5G/LTE cellphone service is good for Bell, Rogers and Telus networks. We have 3 outhouses on the premises and an outdoor hot shower.
FREE Firewood can be gathered on the forest floor or pay for on-site pre-cut wood. Outhouses are close to campsites....but not too close 💩
Port Rowan is only 12 minutes away by car, most amenities can be purchased only 1 minute away at the local Busy Bee gas station.
We are situated in the middle of a Recreation Hotspot! Our site is within 3 minutes of paddling the Big Creek, 3 to 10 minutes to several A+ hiking trails, 15 minutes to amazing freshwater beaches of Long Point and Turkey Point, and the area is abound with cycling trails, motorcycle routes, geocaching, boat launches (we have room here for your boat!), cider/wine tours, and more! We are the perfect basecamp for everything the Long Point Bay area has to offer
We have some great watering holes nearby like burning kiln winery, hounds of Erie and Charlotteville brewing company.

The ‘Long Point Birding Area’ in Norfolk County is one of Canada’s premier birding locales. With over 400 species of birds observed, Long Point looms large as one of the most exciting places on the continent to observe our rich birdlife.

All we ask of our visitors is: that whatever you bring in you take home with you, that you leave your campsite and the property the way you found it, and the only thing you take from here are pictures and happy memories.
All of our campsites are off-grid, un-serviced, drive-in camping. Campfire wood and recycling facilities are available on site. Maintained outhouses are available throughout the property. There is no potable water on the property so please bring your own drinking and cooking water.
Children under 12 can camp for free. When booking a campsite please only include any guests over 12 years of age in your guest count. Children under 12 do not need to be included in your booking.
Contact us to inquire about large group and event rates. We host LARPing weekends twice a month. We also have a limited number of seasonal sites available from June to September.
I love this property and all the people who visit us, many have become extended family and for this I am grateful. There is nothing nicer than to have people drop by and spend a couple of hours, a day or a weekend, sometime when I get real lucky it's for a longer period of time :-)

2 hours of a beautiful drive that includes kootenay national park.
2)..Important ❗️❗️Please do not bring firewood from other areas to our camp as our property is heavily treed forest and we do not want any transfer of raw wood bugs. We offer $10 generous bundles of wood.
3) When you book, One tent or RV and one vehicle per site. If you are looking to book for a group of friends/family area, we can help with that.. prior to booking.
Also, we reserve the right to put you in the best possible spot to fit in a proper site for what you are camping in and what your needs are. Often people book a site that’s completely wrong for them… but that’s ok… we will fix it. 😊
4) Smoking only on sand at sites and nowhere else on our property Please use a container to hold your butts.
5) Noise restrictions after 9pm…no music or loud behaviour after that. Strictly enforced. We value respect in the camp for all campers.
6) Once you book, we will reply back with important information on the phone number you booked with. Please check for our messages to you for a smooth booking and arrival.

This beautiful spot was re-forested with pine a number of years ago, and was sectioned off from the surrounding farmland, which is now maintained by the mennonite community.
It is 8 1/2 acres of wetland and forest, with a mown perimeter, and cool places to tuck into the forest for the night.
The current owner was a special educator, and now is slowly turning the land into her homestead.
There is a beautiful, spa quality outdoor shower next to a tidy and 'fancier than most' outhouse, a strawberry patch as well as wild alpine strawberries all over the property, a big dog and a small indoor cat keep her company.
Here is what the land offers:
-Bunkie in the Forest: A sweet 8x8 ft. space with new bunk and mattresses as of April 2023
-Strawberry Fields bunkie: an 10x12 space with a loft with a queen memory foam mattress and a main floor with a full futon and a small table
-Campsites: Meadow, Forest and River spots. Close to each other, but you'd never know it! All three are chill and serene places. The property backs onto a ten-foot swimming hole in an otherwise shallow part of the Saugeen River.
-RV Spot: With electric hook up ideal for RVs 30 feet and under

The 59 acre property (50 acres on land, ~9 acres of river/water) features scenic views, privacy and is host to many outdoor activities such as swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, mountain biking and more.
The Point...
The main shared area "The Point", is the peninsula that the main roadway ends at (where the BBQ, kayaks and canoes are), this is a shared area for us and our guests to enjoy. The Point offers a large picnic table, a propane BBQ, comfortable seating, a large rock perfect for sunbathing, and a river view. It's an ideal spot for swimming and launching canoes, kayaks, or paddle-board river excursions, thanks to its shallow entry and rocky bottom. Adventurous visitors might choose to paddle upriver, around an island, and return through the remaining historic canal. For a more strenuous workout, consider paddling up the canal to the Grenville lighthouse and then drifting all the way back to camp with the river's current. Enjoy this historic, lazy river experience!

Numerous amenities are located within a distance of 1-3 kms, including a gas station with electric vehicle charging facilities, an IGA grocery store, and various restaurants such as McDonald's and Tim Horton's. For a classic poutine experience, Jos Patate is a great choice, having been around for many decades. Quiet, majestic back to nature spot!
This is a place to get away from a busy life.
With close proximity to Winchell Lake, this land is ideal for fishing, hiking or simply enjoying the breathtaking scenery.
We have 4 campsites available for tent or RV/trailer campers. If you're bringing an RV, we have two power outlets and water available. You will be parking on a field and the site requires levelling.
Electricity and firewood are both available for purchase (see extras below). Please add this to your reservation at the time of booking.
Campfires are permitted, pets are welcome. Potable water, picnic table, and outhouse are all available.
We have cows, goats, chickens, horses and dogs and cats on the property that
generally love people. :) I have only one dog and typically allow dogs to run off leash. We do have to be careful that it doesn't turn to a dog gang as this happened once and they took down one of my goats. The goats Hon and Chewy are okay but it took months for poor Hon to heal. I also worry about the chickens and the cats so please keep and eye on your dogs!
Lots of treed areas for private camping, horseback riding hiking and walking!
Bird watching is big around here as we are on a bird migratory path.
We are just above Winchell Lake and less than 10 km from Water Valley Golf Course and Saloon.
Please recognize that you are visiting a Ranch not a campsite. We are sharing our piece of heaven with you and you are helping to support our animals and their heaven.
Chickens are "True" Free Range and hand fed every morning. Eggs are $10 a dozen to pay for their feed. :)
Every spring the rain tends to cause ruts and washes out some of the road on the way to the back forty where the meadow is. We gather rocks on the property to fill the ditches but the early part of the year the roads can be bumpy. Please ask the conditions of the road when you book if you have concerns. Thanks!

Very beautiful place!! So happy to have found it. The pull through site is very large and very easy to pull right in. Has a really nice little private deck right by the water to sit on. Hammocks all over, nice adirondack chairs everywhere.
Theres a really nice common area with a mosquito tent with a table inside, a bbq and beach area! Nice place to swim. Brien is a fantastic host. Super friendly. Very responsive and accommodating.
We will definitely go back!

Wonderful spot with several waterfront campsites that are private. Paul is super knowledgeable about the region and provided several tips for sightseeing. Access to the house bathroom was very appreciated. This place will be even more spectacular if/when there are additional toilette facilities for those who are tent camping.

Paul’s land is well groomed. It’s about 200 metres off the main road, on the right. The sites are mostly clearly marked lol. However, you can just grab any site that is available. It’s close enough to the ocean, 3-4 minute walk. There is a restaurant at the ocean side.
The evenings are quiet there. Perfect for just getting away from it all. The neighbourhood is very quiet in the evening. I liked enough that it was a 20 minute drive to Campbell River and Courtney. I would recommend this HipCamp

Paul's HipCamp is our happy place❣️We have returned there twice this summer, each time staying longer. The sites really are private and secluded - each one of them being a slice of paradise. We love that it is off-leash for dogs and no extra fee for having them there. There is an awesome, huge field where the dogs run, play and chase balls. I really don't want to rave about it too much as we would like to still have a spot 🤣 but it is awesome and and I can't say enough about how fabulous it is. Truly my happy place! 😃🌞

Weekend Trip to Dobedo Camps
This place is quite magical. Being in one of the cabins on a cliff was an immersive experience, surrounded by beautiful trees with a view of the lake, like sleeping outdoors but warm and comfortable. The trails and lakes on the property complete that nature immersion, with beautiful walks, nice fresh swimming and boats for paddling. There are even additional hidden lakes if you want an easy adventure from the property. Everything is available in an outdoor kitchen to keep the organizing simple, and the host is very responsive and a great guy. We were so restored, even on a very rainy weekend.

We enjoyed our stay at Paul's land! After touring around the Campbell River, we arrived a little late (~8pm) but upon arrival there was a gentleman at the info area where we could ask questions. We got a little lost at first on which sites were free, but he guided us through to the other sites (which are first come first serve). We stayed at site 9 which worked out nicely. The plot was nice and long and at the end of it was an elevated area where we had to climb this log with nicely carved steps into it. For us, we didnt mind climbing up and down it to carry our tent and supplies over. There was also a metal fire pit with 2 logs inside, a little table and 2 log stools provided. Each site were secluded (lots of tree and bush in between for privacy). Water pump was located near the info area, and the outhouse had toilet paper and hand sanitizer included.
