Awesome piece of land. Tom is so friendly and has lots of knowledge to offer about the area.
His hospitality is like none other!
Stayed in site #3. Tom and his crew were very responsive and friendly hosts. The community room and bathrooms were a big plus. Enjoyed an evening by the campfire and have never slept so good!

Fantastic spot to get away. They’re amenities are well built and looked after and the property is wonderful.
My stay at Valhalla Pines Campground was really great. The campground is nestled in the trees and provides a serene, in-nature feel. You can have your pick of a number of different tent sites, small RV/trailer sites and mini cabins to stay at. There is a large community building where you can cook and prepare meals, store your food in the refrigerator, clean your dishes, wash your clothes and use the bathroom and shower facilities. The whole campground is set up really well for groups of travelers or individuals. Lots of communal meeting, eating, and firepit areas are provided throughout the property. If you're not into being around anyone choose one of the more secluded tent sites near the back of the property. After your day of adventure out to any of the many different activities feel free to relax in one of the many hammocks slung throughout the trees and stare up to the canopy as the wind rocks the trees gently back and forth. The Valhalla Pines Campground is centrally located in the middle of a number of different provincial parks. Make sure to chat with Tom, the owner, when you arrive about where to cast off and float down the Slocan river, hike to an alpine lake or float around for a day in a canoe. For those glampers, there are a number of spots with power hook ups big enough for a small trailer or camper. Valhalla Pines Campground would also be a great stop off for those bike touring through the area if travelers wanted a level camp spot, picnic table and a hot shower. There are options for indoor AND outdoor heated showers. I was really impressed with what Tom is building, his vision for a camp spot for like-minded adventurers to meet and stay is pretty rad and refreshing to hear his ecologically friendly approach to it. I give this campground a 10 out of 10 and will definitely go back when exploring the Kootenays next summer.

Thank you Alex. Just a note that the washer and dryer are needed for housekeeping of the huts and community building, and use of them is not offered with this listing. It may be possible on request at the time of the booking, but no guarantee.
