Private. Quiet. Peaceful.

This campsite description is very understated, especially when it comes to privacy and having at least half an acre all to yourself. The campsite is at the very back of the property, and once you get settled, you have your own driveway to come and go without disturbing anyone at the front of the property (you will come in at the front of the property). The front of the property is under development, but once you get to your campsite, you would never know this due to where the campsite is located relative to the house.
The site was clean, so quiet, so peaceful! You can hear roosters, we heard an owl, and watched eagles and crows hunt and fly up with their catch. Lots of other wildlife around. There is a dog at the property, but it stays close to the house, on patrol 😊 There are other dogs on the surrounding properties, so at times, you will hear barking, but they do their job and then stop, not at all excessive or annoying.
My husband and I camped at the beginning of April, just when the trees were getting their leaves. There was a fire pit, but no picnic table, which was fine for us, as we have outdoor table and chairs. The host brought us wood, and that was kind. For us, we prefer not to have a creek/lake right at the campsite due to safety concerns, and because we have dogs, and they would want to go in all the time. The creek, where you can fish or cool off, is about a 3-minute drive and about 10-15 minute walk. There are hiking trails in that same area, a fire pit beside the creek (I included pictures of this area) and even a field if you want to play kick the can, etc. Although there is room to do that at the campsite too. There is a convenience store close by, and walkable. We would recommend this campsite and we will come again!
