The Missing Peace - 17 acres Each spot has its own unique features. The cabin is closer to the main house and has the best WIFI. The look out glamping tent has the best views and it the most secluded. You need an all wheel drive or a 4 by 4 to get up there. The lower bowl tent and the pitch your own tent has the grassy area to chill out on but has Sketchy WIFI. RVs can park has sketchy wifi as well. A short little walk up the road and you will get better wifi. The tent site is in the lower bowl and is beside the lower glamping tent. Pitch it anywhere on the grass and enjoy. This sit is just off the highway so it can be a little noisy with traffic depending on the time. The beautiful Yurt tent can sleep up to 2 with the beds -4 people without . Lots of vents for fresh air and it's tall enough so you can stand up in it. All lit up at night by a set of solar lights. This site is always evolving to become more beautiful. Each time you stay you will see more and more features added. We are working on it all the time. The wifi can be sketchy down here. 🐔You may hear a rooster! WE ARE CLOSE TO THE TRANS-CANADA HIGHWAY SO YOU CAN HEAR THE TRAFFIC and the TRAIN at times.😁

Tons of room to pull in on the gravel. Its pretty level. Its close the the trans canada highway so you will hear some traffic. The train also goes by right beside the Thomson river so you will hear that as well. The neighbours rooster may crow and the their donkeys may be talking to eachother a bit as well.

Pitch your own tent on the soft flat grass. This spot is nestled beside the glamping tent area. Lots of room to relax or play volley ball or ball toss. Parking is on the flat gravel and not on the grass area.

Nice stay for a night

The Cabin

This cabin was good for a one night stay, although an extended stay wouldn’t be as desirable. The cabin is very close to the highway and the train tracks (as described in the listing), however that amount of noise was still very audible from inside the cabin with the door closed. The tent on site is even less protected from noise as well. The toilet was an interesting challenge, a camping setup in a small tent was enough for, again, a one night stay, however more than that may become cumbersome. We did not use any of the gym equipment, however it all looked very nice. A road sign or something special to put out on the road would be a great addition, to help make the property more visible from the highway.

Nice, well maintained area. Pretty close to the road so it was a little noisy but the highway doesn't have much traffic at night. Entrance isn't marked and by the time the GPS told us we were there we had past the driveway so when you think your close you're there

The look out Bell tent

We had a great time at this yurt! Cindy and John were super friendly and helped us find the yurt when we got a bit lost. Amazing views from this spot, you definitely need a 4WD to get there. The yurt was clean and beds comfy. You can hear a bit of train and highway noise but it did not disturb us at all. Would recommend as long as you are okay with a bucket toilet!

Got lost a bit trying to locate the site but John was very helpful. It is next to the highway but the views of the mountains was very nice and the car noise was minimal at night. Only con is the swarm of moths LOL

Descent spot but the price is more than expensive for the commodities. The washrooms consist on a bin under a tent, the drinkable water is a plastic bottle under full sun all day long, the wifi signal is too weak to be used, barely reaching the tent site, you can’t park your car close to your tent, the view is only available from the carpark and the washrooms, no view from the tent site, the site is quiet from late night to early morning when the traffic is really low, otherwise it is too close to the road to be described as quiet when slipping in a tent. The hosts are answering quickly to your requests by message/sms. The rafting resort near by offers good coffee and real washrooms for your needs. It’s not the worst tentsite I have seen but you can find way better for less around.
