Artisans Park is a farm set on top of a mountain which is sometimes windy sometimes snowing and being a farm we have animals and spiders and everything that nature includes note we can not control the weather or nature, there are no local coffee shops, we are not connected to the electricity. This is a camping site and our stays are like camping all heating is wood hot water is gas and lights are solar, No TV no power points no fancy appliances. If you like camping and staying in something unique Artisans Park is the place for you, If you want a luxurious five star stay we are defiantly not the place our stays are basic and clean. 1949 London Bus, WW2 Army Tower, 1885 Trig Hut Artisans Park is located 45 minutes from Bathurst and is the closest city for food and fuel. We do not have local shops or fuel stations. The London bus is suitable for children as the upper deck houses the bedroom. The lower deck houses the kitchen and bathroom with a front deck complete with barbecue and amazing views. Relax and watch the kangaroos and eagles from your private deck. Summer swimming in the crystal clear river and winter camp fires where you can toast marshmallows. The lower level has a cooktop "no oven or fridge share fridge at entrance of park", outside gas BBQ and tables. You will need to bring your own drinking water. There is a toilet and shower downstairs. The top deck has two small single beds and one double, quilts and pillows however BYO linen sheets and towels. This bus has featured on many TV shows and is often featured in travel magazines, including on Better Homes and Gardens television in 2013 and in many magazines shoots. No pets please. once again no pets including dogs.

Location from Sydney We are approximately 228.9km via Great Western Highway/A32 from Sydney CBD. It is part of the village known as Newbridge which is 3km from the property. It is an easy 30km drive to Bathurst and 50km to Orange with only 15km away from Blayney. La Pinata is also a short drive to Milthorpe and Carcoar - all lovely award winning quaint towns worth visiting where you can take in the history and enjoy great food and wine. A great country escape destination! Even the Newbridge Train Station remains treasured by residents and fondly remembered as the stopover for Queen Elizabeth II during her 1954 royal visit! Newbridge is fortunate to have a local pub, known as the Gladestone Hotel. A a restaurant serving modern cuisine and live music most Sunday afternoons (need to check with Pub for confirmation of entertainment 02 6368 1004). This is approximately 2.7kms from La Pinata! The Property La Pinata is circa 161 Ha (400 acres) in size. Altitude of approx 900m. Over half of the land is clear, the land is mostly undulating with some steeper areas. There are 7 paddocks. Stock water is supplied by dams in all paddocks with a permanent Evans Plains Creek that flows through the property which is a wonderful spot for bushwalking. There is also a bore that provides water to our water tanks. The Property also offers a pine forest, which is cooling on hot summer days, and in the colder months, it is a winter wonderland adventure. A perfect part of the property to do many things: picnicking in the wild whilst collecting pinecones, wildflowers or simply admiring the majestic views of the Fitzgerald Valley and the Blue Mountains over a glass of local wine and cheese. The Barn Style Cabin La Pinata, for a unique glamping experience, offers a barn style cabin dwelling with all the comforts of a home but with a rustic cabin experience. A majority of the barn style cabin and its amenities have been built from recycled material, this includes the furniture which is mostly recycled or pre-loved. We are also using off the grid electricity and water supply. It has 7 sleeping rooms with 1 ensuite and 2 Bathrooms. One of the 7 sleeping rooms has a cot. It has a well-equipped open Kitchen with 5 pit stove, oven, blender, and toaster. The open living area has 3 spaces to enjoy: • 8–10-seater dining area • 3-piece lounge area (TV, with Netflix and Foxtel) • A study/reading Nook area • Another area just off the kitchen is a lovely space where you can read or relax. We have also provided a dart board and other board games for those competitive nights of fun! The barn has laundry facilities and wifi. Other Services that can be provided-coordinated Picasso Paint and Wine Experience Ask the host regarding our Picasso Paint and Wine Experience at La Pinata for groups of 8 to 12 guests. It is a lovely way to enjoy the afternoon sunset with your group, enjoying your wine and painting! 4 weeks' notice required to coordinate. Vale Creek Wines At La Pinata we can organise a wine tasting experience. The winery is called Vale Creek, located approximately 23.5kms from Newbridge (Gladestone Hotel). Vale Creek’s Cellar Door provides tastings in a relaxed setting overlooking the winery. Their wines are from clones sourced from superior vineyards in Italy – www.valecreek.com.au. The owners are delightful and welcoming. They are opened most weekends. The winery has many events occurring through the month and if it coincides with your trip, we will be more than happen to share the event with you and if you wish we can organise the wine tasting booking for you as well. Weekend Trip to The Stockyard Experience

Really terrific stay with such hospitable and welcoming hosts, Vicky and Brian. Tent was well appointed, cosy and warm (the diesel powered heater worked all night) and the campsite was thought out and well equipped. Shower and hot water worked late at night and early in the morning! Absolutely recommend a stay here.

Dalli’s campground is such a beautiful location. So many things to look at and explore and amazing lookouts. We booked a caravan and it was a good size and comfortable. Definitely booking the cabin next and taking the kids they would love it.

My bus-obsessed toddler and I stayed for two nights and loved it. A beautiful sunset spot up behind the bus at the Trig Point, not far to drive to the Turon River for a swim. We'll definitely be back.

We loved our time at Russell's place! The pictures don't come close to doing it justice. The hot bathtub was an absolute treat. The property was private, very well equipped and an amazing city escape. Russell was so communicative and the instructions were perfect. We can't wait to go back!

Weekend Trip to La Pinata Farm Stay Barn

La Piniata was a big hit with my family. Thank you Tara. We invited our daughters their partners and the four grandchildren for a long weekend away. Arrived the Friday night went to the Bathurst Show Saturday , spent Sunday at La Pinata , before heading back to Sydney on Monday. All ten of us enjoyed our stay. The property is spacious , with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen and dining area gives you enough room so you don't fall over each other. The kids (2 X 13yr & 2x 10yr) loved the animals - goats , camels etc. The west facing deck was a great spot to watch the sunset with a cocktail. Or take a five minute drive to the Gladstone Hotel and watch the football with a couple of beers , as I did with my son in-laws. In all I would recommend La Pinata for a great extended family break .

Wonderful, remote location. The house was large for us (three families). Beautiful surrounding, lots of animals to see and pet (camels, lamas, alpacas, donkeys, ostriches, horses, goats, deers, highland cows).

Incredible view from this fantastically hand-restored bus. Details to discover all around (swings, traffic lights..) - we had a lovely time exploring all Glenn's handiwork. Glenn was extremely helpful and welcoming and generous with his time.

We loved our stay at Glenn's London Bus. Our kiddo is already planning a return trip. We couldn't believe how well equipped the bus was for cooking but the star of the show were the literal stars. We cannot believe how stunning the view of the stars and galaxies and late rising moon were during our stay. Absolutely incredible. AND Glenn was such a gracious host. Hoping to be back some day.

Situated in a beautiful valley, the Nile offers a unique hybrid option of camping close to a cabin while getting to experience a stay in a farm. The hike up the mountain was amazing. If you feel like going for a drive Hill End Historic Site is a very interesting place to visit and definitely worth it. The views on the way there were amazing and the town itself is very peaceful.
