We have 245 acres with an area of bushland and other lovely areas with scattered trees, plus some open areas. Currently we have a choice of camping areas for caravans and tents, some nestled in amongst the tree line. Other areas alongside the dam. We keep all the camping areas slashed for safety and to allow easier access to find a suitable camping spot. We also have a hut available in the bush area. This hut is secluded and has its own outdoor private toilet. There is no shower, electricity or fresh water available, however we do have a flush toilet at the camping and caravan site. Campers would need to be self-sufficient otherwise. Please note we don't allow motorbikes, Quads or firearms on the property and there are no exceptions, sorry. We run sheep on our property and have wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and echidnas. We also have farm animals such as cows, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, geese, and dogs. We have 8 dams, 3 of which have fish as well as yabbies throughout the year. Fire pits located in designated areas and only to used during non fire ban periods and to be supervised at all times. We're happy for you to bring your dog however you would be required to keep it under your control or on a leash and away from the sheep. No motor bikes, quads, firearms permitted and no exceptions. No diving off jetty Supervise children at all times. Water, dams, firepits, bushwalking and all areas can be dangerous. Caution, dams may be dangerous, and water is deep. Do not enter paddocks with cows and horses. Beware of snakes. Eudora Farm provides our guests with a unique opportunity to enjoy a multitude of activities, including but not limited to swimming ,fishing, boating, camping, camp fires, bush-walking and other farm related activities. Participating in these activities or any other activities anticipated or unanticipated, during your stay at Eudora Farm may involve inherent risks which could result in serious bodily injury and or death. Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround. It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views. As of September 2025, many of the trails on the property have been degraded by the rains and are now challenging for 2WD cars. If you're towing or it's wet we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. Since this is coastal rainforest and it has been very wet, expect leeches anywhere it is damp. These are easily kept at bay with deet and or trousers tucked into socks. We're not particularly price sensitive - until all those rate rises - but we are extremely value sensitive so we set out to make your stay extremely good value for your hard earned money. The land itself does most of the heavy lifting but also personal service and of course there's Lana to fall in love with. Note, Mellows Rd is 2.6km long and rises 400m - in parts the road is a 15 degree grade. It's all paved but narrow so if you are towing a large heavy load, it's going to strain your car.

The Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum boasts a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton and the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery is home to a wonderful collection of Australian paintings and contemporary artworks. Spend the day in Bathurst by seeing many of the amazing sites including the famous Ben Chiffley Dam and spend the day on the water and even a short drive to Rockley to visit the famous pub now owned by Matt Moran. We absolutely enjoyed Nos Astra! John is a fantastic host. His instructions for the property, including getting to the cabin were very detailed so we got there without any issues even after dark. We loved exploring the property and there’s plenty to see around during the day. The cabin has everything we need and is very comfortable for 4 people. We absolutely loved our frosty mid-winter getaway at the Hideaway! It’s such a beautiful, secluded little spot, with a pretty creek running nearby and a real feeling of being tucked away from everything. We stayed in mid-July, so probably about as cold as it gets, but the tiny cabin was surprisingly easy to get warm and cosy with the potbelly stove, and the fire-heated shower was an unexpected treat – wonderfully toasty! We definitely overpacked with warm clothes and extra bedding, but it turns out we needed every bit of it. And bring gloves – they were absolutely essential for those frosty mornings! The cabin was clean, comfortable and full of rustic charm, and we really enjoyed the whole off-grid experience. A gorgeous little hideaway for anyone wanting some peace, seclusion and a proper winter escape. We’d definitely recommend it!

Wow, wow, wow! This property is simply amazing. The log cabin is so cosy and full of charm, and the surrounding landscape is absolutely stunning. We loved exploring the land and spotting wildlife – wombats, foxes and so many beautiful birds. It's also perfectly located close to Oberon Dam for a day of fishing. The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. We do not want to leave!!

This is a great little multi-container based off grid pad with everything to keep the ladies happy “hot shower” and kids happy fire - marshmallows - but still a feeling of being remote with no neighbours or noise. John don’t develop the place further- it will loose it’s magic if you can see or hear other visitors. Would visit again we all had a great weekend, even with the highway closure.

We had an incredible experience here. The entire setup is so cosy, and having both the indoor fireplace and the outdoor firepit was an absolute dream for the chilly evenings. The facilities are fabulous. The shower had amazing hot water, and the toilets were clean and all good. The service was incredibly lovely from start to finish. Also, a huge thank you for the marshmallows! It was such a thoughtful touch that made our trip extra special. The dogs also had the best time.

I had such an relaxing weekend here with my pup in the middle of winter. We loved walking around the bush land on the property, it really felt like our own space to explore. My pup especially loved drinking the water from the waterfall we found. The RV itself was super cozy. We had incredible sunny weather + were lucky to have a bit of rain while we were sleeping on the last night. It was bliss. Would definitely book again. Thanks Selena.

2 nights at Nos Astra

We really loved staying at Nos Astra - everything from the name (means “We are the stars”) the location and how secluded it is and off the beaten track, to the spectacular view, but not having to compromise on the modern conveniences such as hot showers, kitchen and projector for the kids to watch movies etc. it is a perfect blend of nature and comfort. John is a very hospitable host who made our stay very smooth and memorable! 10/10

4 nights at The Hideaway Oberon

I spent four nights here with my dog, Max, because I needed to escape the noise and pressure of city life. I've always loved the idea of a rustic log cabin in the woods, and Annabelle's Hideaway is exactly that. The hand-built Canadian-style log cabin is beautifully decorated and feels like stepping back in time, while still offering thoughtful comforts like a clean eco toilet, a kitchen with a sink, and a hot shower with an incredible view. Within two nights I was sleeping right through until morning for the first time in years. The simple rhythm of cooking over the fire, collecting water from the creek (or using the tank water provided), no phone reception, and complete peace helps you slow down and leave the stress of everyday life behind. Before long, the sounds of traffic and notifications are replaced by birdsong and silence. If you're looking to truly disconnect and recharge, I can't recommend this place highly enough. PS I used my almost 30 year old 4x4 on demand Honda CR-V and it handled the step right driveway easily with so slip at all but I had good weather with no rain. In wet weather you'll probably need low range 4WD to get back up. You can walk it from the gate however.

Weekend Trip to Glamping Around An Ancient Tree

This place was magical. It was set amongst gorgeous rolling hills with lots of animals and birds etc to keep us company. The dome and outhouse had every comfort to help make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Being able to cook on the fire near the ancient tree was very special and overall it gave us a chance to fully unwind and get back to nature. We would love to come and visit again.

Weekend Trip to K2 River Island Nature Retreat

Absolutely beautiful place. Peaceful and quiet. River was big lots of room for hiking. Cabin was warm with a fireplace and comfortable sleeping. Kangaroos everywhere and wombats. Amenities were clean and maintained. I would definitely recommend this place. I will be back here again.
