We are a goat farm, with about 60 goats, and it's the perfect place to unwind and relax. Simply arrive and open the door to your little private cabin. All amenities you will need, including toilet, shower, and camp kitchen, are only 40 metres away. Listening to the gentle sounds of our chickens and goats is a wonderful way to wake up. You can say hello and walk amongst our friendly goats. Or go for walks without anyone around you. Have a drink on your private verandah, admiring the view of the popular Dish (Parkes Radio Telescope) from anywhere on the farm. There is a reverse cycle air conditioner in the van for your comfort. Dairy Park is a working farm on the Central Tablelands of NSW. We farm sheep and cattle, and on the property, you'll find kangaroos, wombats, lots of birdlife and wide-open space.Our campsite is very private next to the seasonal 'Thumbies Creek'. Our family has been here since the early 1820s. A great family-friendly campsite for those seeking a bush experience. Drinking water available but nothing else, no amenities, so you must have everything you need and leave no trace. 2WD most of the year unless rain, then need 4WD. Pets not permitted. Campfires permitted in a designated area only when restrictions aren't in place. Plenty of firewood around to gather fallen timber.All campers have the opportunity to join in our animal feeding every afternoon at 4pm, we'll take you along with us as we feed the chooks, working dogs, pody lambs and whatever else is happening on the farm! Mobile phone reception on the property is available through Optus and Telstra.

Revelstone offers base camps for 2WD vehicles and mountain camps for 4WD vehicles and most 2WD vehicles. If you're unsure about access or which campsite is right for you, please contact Graeme through Hipcamp. He's always happy to help! Communal toilets, showers and camp kitchen available. Free 180-metre flying fox ride! A minimum two-night booking applies, subject to Host availability. Please contact Graeme to arrange. Explore six kilometres of driving tracks, abundant wildlife, large granite rock formations and spectacular views. All sites are well marked and have fire pits. Our most popular campsite, as voted by campers, is Campers Den. The site with the best views (although I may be biased!) is Kooyong. Firewood is scattered around the property, so feel free to help yourself. Revelstone offers six kilometres of tracks to explore, with amazing rock formations throughout. Please remember to leave all gates as you find them, whether open or closed. Wyangala Dam and village are nearby, offering water sports, fishing and nature walks. Elliot's Lookout is a scenic spot with fantastic views of the dam and backwaters. Cowra township is a 20-minute drive away and well worth a visit. The Reflections Holiday Park shop at the dam offers general supplies, coffee and hot food. Revelstone Mountain Camps offers camping with fantastic views and plenty of space for scenic hikes. There's lots of wildlife, including kangaroos, rabbits and foxes. There are 14 designated camping areas to choose from. You might also like to try the Revelstone Tepee Tent adventure or the Twin Hammock Camp. Please do not cut down or use any standing trees, even if they appear dead, as they are part of the mountain landscape. Phone reception and internet access are available at the mountain sites and some base camp sites. Facilities and important information Our campsites are best suited to self-contained campers with their own camping equipment, toilet/shower facilities and water supply. However, communal toilets, showers and a camp kitchen are also available. Please refer to the price guide for any applicable facility charges. Pets are welcome, but please keep them on a lead when livestock are nearby, as we have plenty of animals wandering around the property. Revelstone is a fully fenced working farm. Please ensure all gates that are closed are shut again after entering or leaving. Each campsite offers plenty of privacy and space, with no immediate neighbours. We also back on to the Dananbilla national park which is 35 square kilometres. A running spring fed creek with yabbies and watercress and small water hole in creek for a dip with small water fall. We back on to 35 square kms of national park called Dananbilla. You can see kangaroos, wallaby, wombat and if lucky akidna , goanna , lace monitor and many varieties of birds. Great cell phone service with optus and telstra but not Vodafone. Can charge your phone ,just bring your lead and power plug. Plenty of firewood for your stay from fallen dead branches. The mountain has the origional trig station for the area on top from early 1800s with beautifull views. We cater for all size vehicles. We loved our stay at The Shed! The best memories are our hosts Rose & Andrew who were welcoming and down to earth. Our dog Stella loved the big level grassy lawn to sniff and explore and to roll around in, this was her highlight, as well as the cows across the road and the horses and a sheep down the road. The shed has a rustic vibe (but without the wind whistling through the corrugated iron like a bush hut); rather, The Shed was very comfy and well-insulated, cosy and clean. The hot water service was excellent. We could get some extra top up supplies from the local General Store and cooked dinner on the BBQ and stove and ate out on the porch every night of our 3-night stay. We have very happy memories of our stay and checking out the local area. Thanks, Rose & Andrew!

Revelstone is a really unique and well thought-out campsite with everything you could need. The teepee is super comfy and sunset views are fantastic! Great for dogs too but there is wildlife there too so do keep them on a lead. Graeme was an excellent host throughout and really helpful. Will definitely be back!
