We also back on to the Dananbilla national park which is 35 square kilometres. A running spring fed creek with yabbies and watercress and small water hole in creek for a dip with small water fall. We back on to 35 square kms of national park called Dananbilla. You can see kangaroos, wallaby, wombat and if lucky akidna , goanna , lace monitor and many varieties of birds. Great cell phone service with optus and telstra but not Vodafone. Can charge your phone ,just bring your lead and power plug. Plenty of firewood for your stay from fallen dead branches. The mountain has the origional trig station for the area on top from early 1800s with beautifull views. We cater for all size vehicles. We have a 55 acre property at the foot of the Dananbilla Range, a working farm with coloured Miniature Sheep, also pattable Galloway Cattle and calfs and Miniature and normal sized horses, donkeys, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks and LOTS of Miniature Goats all very friendly. Around 200 handraised and tame animals and 200 birds. We are the largest and oldest Miniature Goat Stud in NSW.....all year round we have baby goats, turkeys, horses, cows, sheep...all hand raised and friendly. We often have babies on bottles and goats to milk and generally, the farm is a wonderful place to be for those who love animals. The State Forest that surrounds our farm is a wonderful experience for bushwalking and the views are outstanding with spectacular sunrises and sunsets to admire. There are endless amounts of native birds, kangaroos and wallabies to view and sometimes we see a local echidna or wombat. We provide a peaceful farm with loving animals who love human attention. Toilets and showers available. Sorry NO Dogs are permitted. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood available to purchase per night load, delivered to your site.

Our family has been here since the early 1820s. A great family-friendly campsite for those seeking a bush experience. Campfires permitted in a designated area only when restrictions aren't in place. Revelstone is a really unique and well thought-out campsite with everything you could need. The teepee is super comfy and sunset views are fantastic! Great for dogs too but there is wildlife there too so do keep them on a lead. Graeme was an excellent host throughout and really helpful. Will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our night at the farm stay. We were shown around and made to feel very welcome. There were baby goats for the children to bottle feed, miniature ponies and a cow plus deer and many more animals. The amenities were clean and everything was very comfortable. We will be back!

We loved having our family catch up on Peters land. Plenty of space for the kids to play. The dam was fenced but close for relaxing on the peer. We enjoyed both the camp and wood fire. The rooms are well appointed and comfy, with electric blankets and heaters. We used the outside bbq and relaxed on the porch. Highly recommend 💜

It is just beautiful. Peter has amazing taste, it’s all so good on the eye. There is every creature comfort, all hiding in a very charming rustic setting (not too rustic, and not at all country chintz). And of course the countryside is lovely too. I can’t wait to return. You think the walk to the bathroom will be annoying in the deep of winter, but it’s not, it just connects you with the land a bit more: that cold run on frozen tip toes and the thrill of getting back into the warmest most comfortable bed. So tip out a jigsaw and some board games, and a wine, and a good playlist and breathe deep. You’ll love it, you kids will love it, and your mates will love it. Oh, and your dog. Your dog will will too.

Weekend Trip to Crooked Corner

My family stayed at Crooked Corner Cottage together with some close relatives. The shack was great as it got everything we needed for cooking and eating. There's also a dining area and a lounge area where kids can just play if it gets too hot outside. Bedrooms were neat and tidy. Since we were over the cottage capacity, some slept in tents. Thanks to Peter, for allowing us to camp near the cottage. The place was huge. We enjoyed walking, playing tennis and volleyball. Kids loved toasting marshmallows on campfires. Some of us even went kayaking and swimming in the dam. We were never bored there were so many things to do. Peter is very accommodating and his dog is very friendly. My grand children even played fetch with his dogs. The place is beautiful and we all enjoyed our stay.

Weekend Trip to Quamby Park Farm Stay & Petting Zoo NSW

We can't get enough of Quamby Park! This was our third trip staying at the bunkhouse with kids aged 6 and 11. Hosts Janelle and Cookie are so welcoming and share their knowledge freely, and there's always something going on at the farm to help with if you feel so inclined (I milked a goat this time). I love staying overnight to get the whole relaxed experience from dawn to dusk. Lots of opportunities for animal snuggles as they come up to you for a pat.
