We have 245 acres with an area of bushland and other lovely areas with scattered trees, plus some open areas. Currently we have a choice of camping areas for caravans and tents, some nestled in amongst the tree line. Other areas alongside the dam. We keep all the camping areas slashed for safety and to allow easier access to find a suitable camping spot. We also have a hut available in the bush area. This hut is secluded and has its own outdoor private toilet. There is no shower, electricity or fresh water available, however we do have a flush toilet at the camping and caravan site. Campers would need to be self-sufficient otherwise. Please note we don't allow motorbikes, Quads or firearms on the property and there are no exceptions, sorry. We run sheep on our property and have wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and echidnas. We also have farm animals such as cows, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, geese, and dogs. We have 8 dams, 3 of which have fish as well as yabbies throughout the year. Fire pits located in designated areas and only to used during non fire ban periods and to be supervised at all times. We're happy for you to bring your dog however you would be required to keep it under your control or on a leash and away from the sheep. No motor bikes, quads, firearms permitted and no exceptions. No diving off jetty Supervise children at all times. Water, dams, firepits, bushwalking and all areas can be dangerous. Caution, dams may be dangerous, and water is deep. Do not enter paddocks with cows and horses. Beware of snakes. Our family has been here since the early 1820s. A great family-friendly campsite for those seeking a bush experience. Drinking water available but nothing else, no amenities, so you must have everything you need and leave no trace. 2WD most of the year unless rain, then need 4WD. Pets not permitted. Campfires permitted in a designated area only when restrictions aren't in place. Plenty of firewood around to gather fallen timber.All campers have the opportunity to join in our animal feeding every afternoon at 4pm, we'll take you along with us as we feed the chooks, working dogs, pody lambs and whatever else is happening on the farm! Town center is a 5 min drive or a short walk/ride, so access to town facilities and amenities is very convenient. Please refer to images for the latter. Firewood - please bring your own, we do not have firewood or fallen branches from trees. "Wombles Common" has a permanent fire pit area, all other sites require transportable fire pits (provided or bring your own). Bathurst is known for motorsports thanks to Mount Panorama, one of the world’s most famous circuits. It hosts a number of international racing events, including the Bathurst 12 Hour and the Bathurst 1000. When it's not being used for a race, the public can take a spin around the course and visit wineries along the track. Visit the National Motor Racing Museum, right next to the track. The Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum boasts a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton and the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery is home to a wonderful collection of Australian paintings and contemporary artworks. Spend the day in Bathurst by seeing many of the amazing sites including the famous Ben Chiffley Dam and spend the day on the water and even a short drive to Rockley to visit the famous pub now owned by Matt Moran. Location from Sydney We are approximately 228.9km via Great Western Highway/A32 from Sydney CBD. It is part of the village known as Newbridge which is 3km from the property. It is an easy 30km drive to Bathurst and 50km to Orange with only 15km away from Blayney. La Pinata is also a short drive to Milthorpe and Carcoar - all lovely award winning quaint towns worth visiting where you can take in the history and enjoy great food and wine. A great country escape destination! Even the Newbridge Train Station remains treasured by residents and fondly remembered as the stopover for Queen Elizabeth II during her 1954 royal visit! Newbridge is fortunate to have a local pub, known as the Gladestone Hotel. A a restaurant serving modern cuisine and live music most Sunday afternoons (need to check with Pub for confirmation of entertainment 02 6368 1004). This is approximately 2.7kms from La Pinata! The Property La Pinata is circa 161 Ha (400 acres) in size. Altitude of approx 900m. Over half of the land is clear, the land is mostly undulating with some steeper areas. There are 7 paddocks. Stock water is supplied by dams in all paddocks with a permanent Evans Plains Creek that flows through the property which is a wonderful spot for bushwalking. There is also a bore that provides water to our water tanks. The Property also offers a pine forest, which is cooling on hot summer days, and in the colder months, it is a winter wonderland adventure. A perfect part of the property to do many things: picnicking in the wild whilst collecting pinecones, wildflowers or simply admiring the majestic views of the Fitzgerald Valley and the Blue Mountains over a glass of local wine and cheese. The Barn Style Cabin La Pinata, for a unique glamping experience, offers a barn style cabin dwelling with all the comforts of a home but with a rustic cabin experience. A majority of the barn style cabin and its amenities have been built from recycled material, this includes the furniture which is mostly recycled or pre-loved. We are also using off the grid electricity and water supply. It has 7 sleeping rooms with 1 ensuite and 2 Bathrooms. One of the 7 sleeping rooms has a cot. It has a well-equipped open Kitchen with 5 pit stove, oven, blender, and toaster. The open living area has 3 spaces to enjoy: • 8–10-seater dining area • 3-piece lounge area (TV, with Netflix and Foxtel) • A study/reading Nook area • Another area just off the kitchen is a lovely space where you can read or relax. We often have babies on bottles and goats to milk and generally, the farm is a wonderful place to be for those who love animals. The State Forest that surrounds our farm is a wonderful experience for bushwalking and the views are outstanding with spectacular sunrises and sunsets to admire. Thank you for considering Beaconsfield cottage for your stay in the Oberon area. This hand-built self contained cottage is located 3 hours from Sydney and just 20 minutes out of Oberon. It is the only cottage on the property, offering a unique experience free of other guests. We can provide accommodation for up to 4 people, with a queen bed in one bedroom and two single beds in the other. Check-in between 2pm and 5pm with late check-in available on request. Check-out by 10am. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets on our property due to the native wildlife. Our accommodation is completely off the grid and surrounded by acres of forest. Weekend Trip to La Pinata Farm Stay Barn

La Piniata was a big hit with my family. Thank you Tara. We invited our daughters their partners and the four grandchildren for a long weekend away. Arrived the Friday night went to the Bathurst Show Saturday , spent Sunday at La Pinata , before heading back to Sydney on Monday. All ten of us enjoyed our stay. The property is spacious , with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen and dining area gives you enough room so you don't fall over each other. The kids (2 X 13yr & 2x 10yr) loved the animals - goats , camels etc. The west facing deck was a great spot to watch the sunset with a cocktail. Or take a five minute drive to the Gladstone Hotel and watch the football with a couple of beers , as I did with my son in-laws. In all I would recommend La Pinata for a great extended family break .

Wonderful, remote location. The house was large for us (three families). Beautiful surrounding, lots of animals to see and pet (camels, lamas, alpacas, donkeys, ostriches, horses, goats, deers, highland cows).

Weekend Trip to Eudora Farm

Absolutely loved this rustic little bush shack. I loved all the details inside the hut and definitely appreciate the flushing toilet close by. Handy to have a BBQ supplied and various cooking items. Nice big firepit with tools to use. 100% recommend either staying in the hut here or camping (as the camp sites looked pretty good too).

Awesome example of a Hipcamp and how they should be… so well kept with mowed grass Camps are spread out & there are flushing toilets at them all or close by We had the bush shack for the weekend with camping around it… was amazing with all of what you need to enjoy a weekend away We will def be back 👍

Revelstone is a really unique and well thought-out campsite with everything you could need. The teepee is super comfy and sunset views are fantastic! Great for dogs too but there is wildlife there too so do keep them on a lead. Graeme was an excellent host throughout and really helpful. Will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our night at the farm stay. We were shown around and made to feel very welcome. There were baby goats for the children to bottle feed, miniature ponies and a cow plus deer and many more animals. The amenities were clean and everything was very comfortable. We will be back!

2 nights at The Yurtfarm

My family of six loved staying at the teacher’s Yurt at Yurtvillage. While there was NO electricity or water - our yurt had mattresses, solar light, a kitchen and indoor fireplace to keep us warm on cold nights. We bought water from the supermarket. Mike gave us an amazing tour of his yurt farm and we loved immersing ourselves in nature. Being amongst the wildlife and farm animals on the property and meeting lovely hosts, Judith and Mike was a highlight. Certainly a weekend to remember which was fun, unique, relaxing and economical!
