Revelstone offers base camps for 2WD vehicles and mountain camps for 4WD vehicles and most 2WD vehicles. If you're unsure about access or which campsite is right for you, please contact Graeme through Hipcamp. He's always happy to help! Communal toilets, showers and camp kitchen available. Free 180-metre flying fox ride! A minimum two-night booking applies, subject to Host availability. Please contact Graeme to arrange. Explore six kilometres of driving tracks, abundant wildlife, large granite rock formations and spectacular views. All sites are well marked and have fire pits. Our most popular campsite, as voted by campers, is Campers Den. The site with the best views (although I may be biased!) is Kooyong. Firewood is scattered around the property, so feel free to help yourself. Revelstone offers six kilometres of tracks to explore, with amazing rock formations throughout. Please remember to leave all gates as you find them, whether open or closed. Wyangala Dam and village are nearby, offering water sports, fishing and nature walks. Elliot's Lookout is a scenic spot with fantastic views of the dam and backwaters. Cowra township is a 20-minute drive away and well worth a visit. The Reflections Holiday Park shop at the dam offers general supplies, coffee and hot food. Revelstone Mountain Camps offers camping with fantastic views and plenty of space for scenic hikes. There's lots of wildlife, including kangaroos, rabbits and foxes. There are 14 designated camping areas to choose from. You might also like to try the Revelstone Tepee Tent adventure or the Twin Hammock Camp. Please do not cut down or use any standing trees, even if they appear dead, as they are part of the mountain landscape. Phone reception and internet access are available at the mountain sites and some base camp sites. Facilities and important information Our campsites are best suited to self-contained campers with their own camping equipment, toilet/shower facilities and water supply. However, communal toilets, showers and a camp kitchen are also available. Please refer to the price guide for any applicable facility charges. Pets are welcome, but please keep them on a lead when livestock are nearby, as we have plenty of animals wandering around the property. Revelstone is a fully fenced working farm. We have 245 acres with an area of bushland and other lovely areas with scattered trees, plus some open areas. Currently we have a choice of camping areas for caravans and tents, some nestled in amongst the tree line. Other areas alongside the dam. We keep all the camping areas slashed for safety and to allow easier access to find a suitable camping spot. We also have a hut available in the bush area. This hut is secluded and has its own outdoor private toilet. There is no shower, electricity or fresh water available, however we do have a flush toilet at the camping and caravan site. Campers would need to be self-sufficient otherwise. Please note we don't allow motorbikes, Quads or firearms on the property and there are no exceptions, sorry. We run sheep on our property and have wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and echidnas. We also have farm animals such as cows, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, geese, and dogs. We have 8 dams, 3 of which have fish as well as yabbies throughout the year. Fire pits located in designated areas and only to used during non fire ban periods and to be supervised at all times. We're happy for you to bring your dog however you would be required to keep it under your control or on a leash and away from the sheep. No motor bikes, quads, firearms permitted and no exceptions. No diving off jetty Supervise children at all times. Water, dams, firepits, bushwalking and all areas can be dangerous. Caution, dams may be dangerous, and water is deep. Do not enter paddocks with cows and horses. Beware of snakes. When it's not being used for a race, the public can take a spin around the course and visit wineries along the track. Visit the National Motor Racing Museum, right next to the track. The Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum boasts a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton and the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery is home to a wonderful collection of Australian paintings and contemporary artworks. Spend the day in Bathurst by seeing many of the amazing sites including the famous Ben Chiffley Dam and spend the day on the water and even a short drive to Rockley to visit the famous pub now owned by Matt Moran. Location from Sydney We are approximately 228.9km via Great Western Highway/A32 from Sydney CBD. It is part of the village known as Newbridge which is 3km from the property. It is an easy 30km drive to Bathurst and 50km to Orange with only 15km away from Blayney. La Pinata is also a short drive to Milthorpe and Carcoar - all lovely award winning quaint towns worth visiting where you can take in the history and enjoy great food and wine. A great country escape destination! Even the Newbridge Train Station remains treasured by residents and fondly remembered as the stopover for Queen Elizabeth II during her 1954 royal visit! Newbridge is fortunate to have a local pub, known as the Gladestone Hotel. A a restaurant serving modern cuisine and live music most Sunday afternoons (need to check with Pub for confirmation of entertainment 02 6368 1004). This is approximately 2.7kms from La Pinata! The Property La Pinata is circa 161 Ha (400 acres) in size. Altitude of approx 900m. Over half of the land is clear, the land is mostly undulating with some steeper areas. There are 7 paddocks. Stock water is supplied by dams in all paddocks with a permanent Evans Plains Creek that flows through the property which is a wonderful spot for bushwalking. There is also a bore that provides water to our water tanks. The Property also offers a pine forest, which is cooling on hot summer days, and in the colder months, it is a winter wonderland adventure. A perfect part of the property to do many things: picnicking in the wild whilst collecting pinecones, wildflowers or simply admiring the majestic views of the Fitzgerald Valley and the Blue Mountains over a glass of local wine and cheese. The Barn Style Cabin La Pinata, for a unique glamping experience, offers a barn style cabin dwelling with all the comforts of a home but with a rustic cabin experience. A majority of the barn style cabin and its amenities have been built from recycled material, this includes the furniture which is mostly recycled or pre-loved. We are also using off the grid electricity and water supply. It has 7 sleeping rooms with 1 ensuite and 2 Bathrooms. One of the 7 sleeping rooms has a cot. It has a well-equipped open Kitchen with 5 pit stove, oven, blender, and toaster. The open living area has 3 spaces to enjoy: • 8–10-seater dining area • 3-piece lounge area (TV, with Netflix and Foxtel) • A study/reading Nook area • Another area just off the kitchen is a lovely space where you can read or relax. AMENITIES We’ve tried to approached every detail with the care an artist would give to his or her masterpiece. The Tent is fully equipped with all the necessities for a luxe stay. An open space for sleeping, cooking, eating and living. Enjoy the convenience of fully functioning, modern facilities with internal bathroom and kitchenette. Below are some of our favourite amenities we’ve curated to give you an intimate and luxurious experience. SLEEPING A four-post queen bed and an additional built in nook with a queen bed, allowing for an extra two guests. Sleep in comfort to the sounds of nature cocooned in luxurious 1000-thread-count Egyptian cotton Sheraton sheets and fluffy down duvets. You’ll find woollen blankets to keep your warm if the wind picks up. EATING The Tent comes equipped with a small kitchen. Prepare, cook or heat meals with all the utensils you need at hand. There is a BBQ on the deck to cook local meats and veggies. LIVING In the Tent you will find a Lounge, lamps, books, boardgames and a dining table. Take a seat or lay in the bath on the deck enjoying the expansive views over a glass of champagne, watch the sun set or rise. Enjoy a moment, unhurried. So that you can take in your natural surrounds we haven’t included TV or Wifi, minimising screen time as much as possible during your stay. However, there is phone reception so you are not completely isolated. TOILETRIES We have provided organic shampoo, conditioner and soaps for your use and sheraton towelling for complete softness. There is a bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity and on the deck you can enjoy a warm bath with a glass of champagne and watch the sun go down. We look forward to you staying with us. Our sweet little farm cottage sits on the very edge of the peaceful village of Lyndhurst, overlooking the surrounding farmland. You’ll be able to enjoy a coffee on the veranda while watching the sun rise over the hills. Explore the surrounding villages and towns, such as Cowra, Canowindra, Carcoar, Orange, Bathurst, Blayney, Millthorpe, Neville, and Woodstock. Thank you for considering Beaconsfield cottage for your stay in the Oberon area. This hand-built self contained cottage is located 3 hours from Sydney and just 20 minutes out of Oberon. It is the only cottage on the property, offering a unique experience free of other guests. We can provide accommodation for up to 4 people, with a queen bed in one bedroom and two single beds in the other. Check-in between 2pm and 5pm with late check-in available on request. Check-out by 10am. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets on our property due to the native wildlife. Our accommodation is completely off the grid and surrounded by acres of forest. Beaconsfield cottage provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. After enjoying the many other tourist attractions in the area, feel free to take a walk among the trees, enjoy a picnic and savour the peace and quiet of our land. We take hospitality and service very seriously at our piece of paradise and wish to make your stay a pleasant and memorable one.

Weekend Trip to La Pinata Farm Stay Barn

La Piniata was a big hit with my family. Thank you Tara. We invited our daughters their partners and the four grandchildren for a long weekend away. Arrived the Friday night went to the Bathurst Show Saturday , spent Sunday at La Pinata , before heading back to Sydney on Monday. All ten of us enjoyed our stay. The property is spacious , with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen and dining area gives you enough room so you don't fall over each other. The kids (2 X 13yr & 2x 10yr) loved the animals - goats , camels etc. The west facing deck was a great spot to watch the sunset with a cocktail. Or take a five minute drive to the Gladstone Hotel and watch the football with a couple of beers , as I did with my son in-laws. In all I would recommend La Pinata for a great extended family break .

Wonderful, remote location. The house was large for us (three families). Beautiful surrounding, lots of animals to see and pet (camels, lamas, alpacas, donkeys, ostriches, horses, goats, deers, highland cows).

Absolutely loved this rustic little bush shack. I loved all the details inside the hut and definitely appreciate the flushing toilet close by. Handy to have a BBQ supplied and various cooking items. Nice big firepit with tools to use. 100% recommend either staying in the hut here or camping (as the camp sites looked pretty good too).
