Our sweet little farm cottage sits on the very edge of the peaceful village of Lyndhurst, overlooking the surrounding farmland. You’ll be able to enjoy a coffee on the veranda while watching the sun rise over the hills. Explore the surrounding villages and towns, such as Cowra, Canowindra, Carcoar, Orange, Bathurst, Blayney, Millthorpe, Neville, and Woodstock. With wineries, nature walks, seasonal garden rambles, and Carcoar and Wyangala Dams all within an hour’s drive, we’re sure you’ll find so many things to do that you’ll want to come back!Our little farm cottage is a peaceful retreat, with a beautiful, rural outlook onto the hills and surrounding farmland. Situated in a quiet street, it is central to lots of the surrounding towns and villages including Canowindra, Carcoar, Cowra, Orange, Blayney, Bathurst, Milthorp, Neville, and Woodstock. Self contained with lots of mod cons, we’ve aimed to make your time away easy and comfortable . Kitchen includes: oven and cook top, air fryer, microwave, cutlery, dinnerware, kettle, sandwich press, toaster, fridge/freezer, tea towels, aprons, cookware utensils, washing up soap/cloths and spare bin bags. We have also provided a small selection of tea/coffee/milk conveniences for your enjoyment. In the Laundry you’ll find a washing machine, detergent, pegs and basket with an outside clothes line for your convenience. Comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 1 infant with a porta cot also available. Linen is provided on each bed, along with towels and spare blankets. The queen beds are equipped with Electric blankets. The cot can be made up on request. Bed configuration is; Bedroom 1- queen bed and single bunks, Bedroom 2- queen bed and space for the cot. Air con in the lounge room and dinning room. Wood heater in lounge room for year round comfort. Bathroom; Wrought iron bath tub, shower, vanity and separate toilet. Large lawn area for kids to play and enjoy picnics. Lyndhurst is a lovely village to enjoy walks and take in the many views of the surrounding hills and farms. We look forward to welcoming you to Carmel Cottage.

Hot and cold water. The hot water tank is small, but it’s electric so if it runs out, you will just need to wait an hr or so for it to re heat.

Recycling bin, trash bin. Our red lid bin is for household rubbish. The yellow lid bin is for recycling. Both go out on Monday night to be emptied on Tuesday morning. Thank you.

Cooking equipment present

Private, oven, stovetop or hot plate, fridge, freezer, cookware, cooking utensils, dishware, cutlery, basic seasoning and oils, sink or other dishwashing station. Everything in our cottage is supplied for your comfort and use. Please wash up when you leave and be considerate of our cleaners.

Picnic table present

A table and chairs is provided on the veranda.

Laundry present

There is a washing machine available and laundry detergent supplied, as well as a washing basket, pegs and a washing line, feel free to use wisely.

Hot Tub present

We have a country style wrought iron bathtub located in the inside bathroom.
