The Loft Haven Meadows is located as part of approximately 75 acres of which approximately 7 acres are cleared the rest is natural Australian bushland and forested countryside and is very similar to the National Park.
Looking for a bit of space away from everyone or just to take a breath? This is an ideal sanctuary of tranquillity and privacy. It's the go-to location to provide you with a getaway to relax and also enjoy all the amenities the area provides.
A place to put your feet up and relax and feel comfortable and at the same time providing space for you to stroll in the cool of an evening or sit around gazing at the stars without the concerns of driving to another location.
An ideal place to sit during the day or evening, drinking your coffee or sipping a wine while you enjoy a good book, play a game watch the sunset of the evening and subsequently the stars on a clear night or simply see the local wildlife early in the morning as they explore the grassed areas within metres of the house.
The Loft Haven is perfect for families (not young children) or two couples.
You MUST be self-contained as there are NO on site Toilet or Shower Facilities if you are not Please do not book.
There is plenty of free firewood to use on those cool evenings or even on a pleasant evening when you just want to sit around a fire.
(At certain times outdoor fires may be restricted due to local fire safety requirements.)
We recommend bringing warm clothes in the Autumn and Winter months as the region is known for falling below zero on some evenings with frosts and some years even having light fall of snow.

Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Wyberber valley, within minutes you can drive to drive discover Girraween National Park which is home to an array of lifelike granite sculptures and eucalypt forest rich in some of Australia’s most appealing plant and animal life. Go for a swim in the natural water holes and rock pools.
Nestled in the granite belt wine country you will find many cellar doors within a few kilometres drive. We are within minutes of the Girraween National Park and also pleasant drives to numerous national parks etc eg Mount Norman, Bald Rock National Park, Boonoo Boonoo National Park, Basket Swamp National Park and the Sundown National Park all within easy reach and great places for a day out of exploration.
Within 15 minutes you can obtain various supplies or food from the Ballandean general store, the Ballandean Tavern, Saint Jude’s Cafe and restaurant and also to the south of us the Wallangarra general store.
Wallangarra General store also make country pizzas on a Friday night.
Provisions can also be obtained from the general shops and supermarkets in Stanthorpe or Tenterfield both of which are approximately 20-minute drive North or South of our location.
There are more than 50 Wineries in this region, and every taste is catered for whether you prefer Red or white. There is also a specialist distillery where you can sample and purchase many liqueurs. (The Castle)
You can simply relax and enjoy the property which is surrounded by our beautiful wildlife; we have a wide variety of birds, wallabies, Kangaroos, lizards, turtles, ducks and random sightings of deer and bunnies.
