We had a great stay at Rolf's - the place is super tranquil and private with lots of beautiful bird song and animals about. We were even lucky enough to see the wombats they were caring for on the property.
That said, I wouldn’t recommend this site for groups. We were a group of friends having a laugh around the fire, and although we were mindful and respectful, noise seemed to travel more than expected and it led to some tension during the evening.

We loved our tent camping here. It all started with a great host and Rolf was exactly that. The property is set in a beautiful valley surrounded by trees and wildlife. Everything at the camp was clean and well maintained. It was our base for doing bushwalking in the area and didn't have to travel far from camp for some amazing day adventures with the kids.
We will be back.

We had a fantastic time tent camping at Stickybush! It was such a beautiful location with pristine bushland. Some really good tent locations to choose within our site near the shack, could choose between shady or sunny. We were the only campers at Stickybush so it was lovely and private too. If other sites were booked it may feel different. We really appreciated having water a couple of water jerry's provided and firewood available. The composting toilet was good - clean and no smell! The shack was great, having the picnic table and and extra BBQ area - like an extra outdoor kitchen and very helpful for our group - 4 adults, 7 kids, 2 dogs! Rolf also provided excellent directions to get to Stickybush and was a great host. We would love to come back!

We loved our time here. We had the bath tub site which was tucked into a quiet back corner of thr property, but still only 100m to the toilet. Toilets were clean and really well maintained. There were only 2 other groups camping over the weekend, and very quiet and relaxing. Thanks for having us!

Rolf was the perfect host and so great in the lead up with all of my groups questions, then when we arrived was helpful, even dropped us water, popped in to make sure we were all fine then left us to be.
The site was magical, we loved every minute, lots of little walks, and privacy so kids could be mkids and make noise etc.
We will be back for sure!

Absolutely amazing, beautiful deep bush experience but only 2.5hours from Sydney. Bonus of being well and truely out of reception. Rolf is lovely and very accommodating, he even showed the kids a new enclosure for injured wildlife. We can’t wait to go back again.

Stickybush Shack Campgrounds
Stickybush was a great location for our group getaway. There was plenty of room for our group of 4 families to camp comfortably without being in top of each other. There's plenty of opportunity to wander and explore or just sit by the camp fire to relax, the distance from the main road makes for a be tranquil setting.

Rolf place is amazing if you are after a few days of switching off and connecting to nature. His property has a number of places where to camp so even if there is another group booked at the same time you not all need to be in the spot. I have enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning, walking around his property, watching the local wildlife. Rolf has great instructions to get to his place- the drive through the valley is breathtaking. I will be back. Thanks Rolf for being such a great host!

I loved camping at Stickybush Arm Wildlife Sanctuary! Rolf was a pleasant and responsive host. His campsite was well maintained and very secluded. I would recommend it highly to anyone who is considering a weekend in the country.

Beautiful quite place. Very secluded. Rolf was very nice, explained emergency procedures and informed us about a nearby Dam that we could use. Toilet was very clean which was very handy for the family. Would def recommend and come again.

Just back from a great stay here. It’s a really quiet, chilled-out spot and perfect if you just want to be out in nature for a bit. You can tell the site is well looked after, too. Rolf was lovely—super friendly and happy to help out with anything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Stickybush Shack Campgrounds
We had a truly wonderful barbecue and camping experience here. At night, we could see the Milky Way, which was absolutely stunning. Each campsite is very spacious and well separated, giving everyone a real sense of privacy in the forest.
The campground has toilets and provides plenty of water, which made the stay very comfortable. One important thing to note is that there is no mobile signal starting quite far from the campsite. It’s a good idea to keep two navigation apps running. We accidentally closed one near the end and couldn’t reconnect, and even with just one junction left, it was hard to know which turn to take. We took a wrong road and eventually found our way after some trouble.
Despite that small challenge, it turned into a beautiful and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys nature, stargazing, and a peaceful forest setting.

Stickybush Shack Campgrounds
Stickybush Arm is a great site with a huge variety of birds, frogs and marsupials throughout the property. The shack has some basic furniture and an outdoor fireplace in a sheltered area in case of rain. There's also plenty to do in the surrounding area including exploring overhangs, 4x4ing, visiting rock engravings and swimming in the dam next door. I will definitely be back!

Rolf’s place is one of those special hidden gems. It’s a true sanctuary for wildlife and souls escaping from the busy world. It’s the kind of place where you just want to tread softly and listen to life in the bush. Rolf has amazing knowledge of the surrounding area of Yengo too. The road in is long and pretty so if you fancy some conservation-based camping then hit Rolf up.

What a fabulous place to spend a few days. Camping at Stickybush was excellent, great location and so much wildlife around. Yengo National Park is incredible to explore and Stickybush makes an excellent base to do it from. Rolf is very friendly and helpful, would highly recomend Stickybush
