Stickybush Arm is a tributary of Big Boree Creek in the Boree Valley, surrounded by Yengo National Park World Heritage Area and Yengo Conservation Area. The property is secluded and off-grid, with grassy paddocks for camping, in a tranquil bushland valley. Undulating sandstone terrain surrounds the campground and ephemeral creeks are ideal for hiking and exploring. Stickybush Arm is a Wildlife Sanctuary. Native wildlife is respected and protected. A place of connection and environmental learning. Abundant with native flora and fauna the location is ideal for the true nature lovers looking to recharge and experience caring for country. DISCOUNTS available for volunteers assisting with wildlife studies, wildlife rescue work and property maintenance. Ecological cool burns are conducted regularly, and campers are encouraged to participate assisting bushland regeneration burns, hazard reduction burning and pile burning. The property is accessible via a 30 minutes drive on dirt road through the National Park to Boree private roads. (Make sure you follow the 'Directions to Stickybush Arm" document). The Shack on the Stickybush Arm property has open grassy campgrounds ideal for tents and camper trailers. The Shack itself is not currently available for accommodation, but can be used as a communal space. Portable fire pits are available for a communal fire or find a more private space, within the establish campgrounds. A clean compost toilet is available adjacent to The Shack. The site is an ideal location to set up a base camp, go for walks, explore the creek or head out and go four wheel driving through the National Park on approved tracks.

The Mixer Pad

The Mixer Pad is a secluded campsite situated on the western side of Stickybush Arm Creek with a large open grass area set amongst tall trees. An old heritage concrete mixer sits in the pad. The site is ideal for a private secluded camp or for a group of friends. If you are quiet, wombats and wallabies come out between dusk and dawn. Short walking distance to Big Boree Creek (flow depends on the season). Or explore the rocky escarpment.

Bath Tub

The Bathtub is tucked away and the end of the open grassed areas, set amongst the tall trees. The location is suitable for a small group who want to be secluded. An old cast iron bathtub acts as a water trough for the native wildlife, and a nearby walking track links the southern campgrounds to the northern campgrounds. The compost toilet is short walking distance at The Stickybush Shack. Fire pits are available.

I loved camping at Stickybush Arm Wildlife Sanctuary! Rolf was a pleasant and responsive host. His campsite was well maintained and very secluded. I would recommend it highly to anyone who is considering a weekend in the country.

Beautiful quite place. Very secluded. Rolf was very nice, explained emergency procedures and informed us about a nearby Dam that we could use. Toilet was very clean which was very handy for the family. Would def recommend and come again.

Great camping spot on Rolf’s land. Very private, plenty of shade, and the toilet was very clean. Rolf was a great host—friendly and respectful of privacy. Would definitely stay again.

The Mixer Pad
Just back from a great stay here. It’s a really quiet, chilled-out spot and perfect if you just want to be out in nature for a bit. You can tell the site is well looked after, too. Rolf was lovely—super friendly and happy to help out with anything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Stickybush Shack Campgrounds
We had a truly wonderful barbecue and camping experience here. At night, we could see the Milky Way, which was absolutely stunning. Each campsite is very spacious and well separated, giving everyone a real sense of privacy in the forest. The campground has toilets and provides plenty of water, which made the stay very comfortable. One important thing to note is that there is no mobile signal starting quite far from the campsite. It’s a good idea to keep two navigation apps running. We accidentally closed one near the end and couldn’t reconnect, and even with just one junction left, it was hard to know which turn to take. We took a wrong road and eventually found our way after some trouble. Despite that small challenge, it turned into a beautiful and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys nature, stargazing, and a peaceful forest setting.

Stickybush Shack Campgrounds
Stickybush Arm is a great site with a huge variety of birds, frogs and marsupials throughout the property. The shack has some basic furniture and an outdoor fireplace in a sheltered area in case of rain. There's also plenty to do in the surrounding area including exploring overhangs, 4x4ing, visiting rock engravings and swimming in the dam next door. I will definitely be back!

Rolf’s place is one of those special hidden gems. It’s a true sanctuary for wildlife and souls escaping from the busy world. It’s the kind of place where you just want to tread softly and listen to life in the bush. Rolf has amazing knowledge of the surrounding area of Yengo too. The road in is long and pretty so if you fancy some conservation-based camping then hit Rolf up.

What a fabulous place to spend a few days. Camping at Stickybush was excellent, great location and so much wildlife around. Yengo National Park is incredible to explore and Stickybush makes an excellent base to do it from. Rolf is very friendly and helpful, would highly recomend Stickybush
