Snowy River Holiday Park is in Dalgety, a historic town on the banks of the Snowy River in the beautiful NSW Snowy Mountains. It’s the only town on the river, and the peaceful setting is a great base for getting to the snowfields in winter and exploring Kosciuszko National Park in the summer. The Holiday Park has 10 self-contained cabins, 3 of which are accessible friendly, 20 powered sites, 16 unpowered sites with a fully equipped camp kitchen, all on 5 beautiful acres of land adjoining the Snowy River. We have BBQ facilities, a drying room for the skiers in winter, a dedicated disability accessible bathroom, and we’re pet friendly. Fishing, swimming, canoeing, platypus and wombat spotting are only a few activities available without getting back in the car. Within 20-45 minutes from the Park you can enjoy fine dining in Jindabyne, mountain bike riding at Thredbo, hiking, and horse riding - these are just a few of activities available.

Powered Grass Sites
We loved staying at this park! It’s not too busy or crowded, well maintained grassy & leafy sites & clean amenities block. Having the river nearby was wonderful for a swim & our dog loved it. We’d definitely visit again.

Unpowered Grass Sites
I came here based on a recommendation by some people I met on my travels. Highlights were being able to have a sauna (extra cost and booking - "snowy river sauna") and dip in the snowy river. Also able to have some adventures paddling on the river above and below the weir. Facilities at the campground were clean and well equipped. I slept very well in my tent near the bridge, the sound of the rushing weir lulling me to sleep. I'll be recommending this place to anyone who asks.

Powered Grass Sites
We had a great weekend stay at The Snowy River Caravan Park. Beautiful grassy, shady powered site. Very reasonably priced. Immaculate amenities. Very friendly and helpful owners made great suggestions for local attractions. We especially enjoyed the Dalgety Winery and Microsoft Brewery for lunch. An awesome suggestion. Thanks Robyn for a great stay!
