Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Dalmoak Bush Retreat is located just 15 minutes from Stanthorpe on a very quiet country road. This is working a cattle and sheep property. The property is 3000 acres of a mixture of open grazing land and moderately timbered to heavily timbered land. The land ranges from reasonably flat areas to undulating areas, there is also quite steep rocky areas which if you venture up on foot will reward you with spectacular views. It is the ideal spot for getting away from the rat race and just relaxing under the stars. We have slashed a number of spacious areas where camping is allowed and are continually developing the sites for camper comfort. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. In the surrounding area you can go for a walk, ride your push bike and also enjoy looking at the stars at night around your campfire (no light pollution here). Please note there are 2 dams close by therefore parental supervision of small children required. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times to protect our livestock. Dalmoak Bush Retreat
Farm stay
This was such a lovely, peaceful and spacious farm stay! The view was great, the fire wood provided was an amazing touch. Would recommend for anyone wanting to have a relaxing stay in nature! There is a short walk down to a creek and a larger waterhole where we saw a platypus! There is also a lookout overlooking the farm a short walk up the road Close by we did the Bald Rock NP summit walk which was great and close by to local towns for day trips and supplies!

Great Australian camping
Spacious campsites among beautiful Australian countryside. Quiet, simple and relaxing camping at its finest on this working cattle property. Walk to the creek or relax under the shady gums. Short stroll to the lookout with amazing views all the way to the Scenic Rim mountains. Take a bottle of wine. Hosts John and Robin are super friendly with lots of local knowledge. Oh, and you’re sharing the paddock with some friendly cows. This is what camping is supposed to be. Highly recommended.

Dalmoak Bush Retreat
Easy to find, some Sandy/gravel road, 3 camp sites within a few hundred metres of each other, we had the one with the best view although quite windy there. Good walking around paddocks. John and Robin were very welcoming.

Wow what a fantastic stay
This spot is perfect for off-grid campers. Only 3 spots and they are so far apart you wouldn't know they are there. Great views. Nice walk to the creek. If you like your privacy then this place is perfect. Robin & John where exceptional hosts and accommodated our late arrival and very pleasant to talk to with local knowledge. Highly recommend.

Dalmoak Bush Retreat
We thoroughly enjoyed camping at Dalmoak for a long weekend. Robin and John greeted us on arrival and checked in with us during our stay. The kids enjoyed patting Robin’s horse and exploring the property, particularly around the creek. We will definitely be back! Thank you.
