A beautiful site beside a creek. Hearing the water running over the stones and the birds in the trees was very relaxing. We were on camp 3. A fantastic location to explore the Border Ranges.

Chilled-out creekside getaway

What a lovely, relaxing long weekend! We spent three nights at campsite four, overlooking the creek. We were testing out our new long caravan rig and found the site easy to access with a large, flat, private, and well-maintained grassy area under some trees to setup on. We chose the unfenced site and enjoyed the freedom to explore the paddocks and creek (with a few chilled-out cows when we first arrived). The creek was clean and clear with some spots deep enough to relax in. We saw rosellas, galahs, kookas and more, and enjoyed the perfect, peaceful little getaway. Briefly met the lovely hosts, but were left to ourselves, which was nice. Cute low-key town, too.

Picture perfect spot on the creek

Beautiful location on the creek. We had the place to ourselves over the weekend so checked out every site. All 4 are private and flat and well looked after. Sites 1 and 3 are now fenced off so the locals (cattle) can't wander into your site. The only noise you hear is from the running creek or bird life. Definitely in our top 3 hipcamps. Bronwyn was very friendly and welcoming too.

Beautiful creek, deep in some parts. Private camp, although still in view of other campers a few hundred meters away... got the privacy aspect with the feeling of safely to go with it. Would def recommend. 20 mins from kyogle so if you forget supplies it's not too far away.

Good getaway

Site 4- Overall the spot has potential, the creek could be good (don’t know cause it was raging from the rain), just lacked maintenance. The area for camp was mowed but still long for the wet weather and you are surrounded by grass as high as your car filling the remaining paddock. Bit of a problem with kids and dogs.

We recently stayed at Site 3 and honestly had such a beautiful camping trip. The creek was absolutely amazing — clear, peaceful and perfect for a swim. It made the whole stay feel extra special. The site itself is nice and open, which was fantastic for solar, and there was plenty of space for the dogs to run around freely and cool off in the water. They had the best time! Bronwyn was wonderful to deal with — super easy to communicate with and very helpful leading up to our stay, which always makes a difference. The only downside was that there isn’t any signage directing you into the camp, so it can be a little tricky to find your site at first. The grass was also a bit long in some spots, and the fire pits had grass growing around them over knee height. A quick tidy-up in those areas working really elevate the experience. Overall though, it’s a great spot and we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with creek access and plenty of open space. We’ll definitely be back — that’s for sure! 🌿🔥🐾

Absolutely amazing spot. Heaps of room right on the creek beautiful surroundings. Couldn’t have asked for a better setting for our campsite. Bronwyn popped in to say hi to make sure we were good.( we had some issues working out what where and when getting there,we had a bit of a dumb moment) Would highly recommend this place to everyone. Heaps of room between camps. The creek running through is amazing just perfect to cool off in. We will be back.

Love this spot, nice level site with plenty room, perfect if relying on sun for solar, clear view of the southern sky that was perfect for starlink, short walk to beautiful creek with shallow and deep spots, definitely will be back.

New Years Family Camping Trip

We camped at zone 4. It was amazing for our very large group of family and friends and little grandkids. There is easy access to the creek which was just beautiful. Bron and Darren were very good with communication and met our group on arrival. There were other groups in different areas but they were far enough way as to not hear or see them. Highly recommend.

First Solo Camp

I really enjoyed my stay last night. There were no other campers and I had the whole creek to myself. Bronwyn and Darren were legends and the scenery including the stars were fantastic. It was my first solo camp and I felt safe and peaceful there! Highly recommend.

Beautiful rural camp

We ended up staying in Zone 4. Lovely little creek, flat ground for camper vans and beautiful views of the ranges. The cows and horses added to the scenery and were quite curious about us on the first day and it was fun to watch them up close. By the second day they had moved to another paddock

So peaceful! Loved our time here. The sites are large, private and well mown. The creek runs through the property and we were able to cool off during the hot day. Lots of shade available on the banks of the creek and plenty of sun for the solar. We loved the visits from the very inquisitive cows and horses. Luke was really helpful. We would definitely recommend a visit to this beautiful property.

So peaceful - it was exactly what we needed after one too many noisy caravan parks. We didn't even know there were other campers until we drove out. The swags went by the bubbling creek and the trailer was on nice level grass under a night of wonderful stars. So good.

Easy access, host gave great direction for location. Host was friendly greeting us on arrival and the wood he sold was great quality and burnt well. We were looking for a quiet spot and found it here.

This spot was amazing with easy access to the creek and nicely mown site. Lots of room to manoeuvre our van around, with plenty of sun for charging the solar. Exceptional host, with helpful directions who delivered us some firewood. As this quiet spot is only about an hour away from home, we have bookmarked this quiet site for a quick weekend getaway - we will be back ❤️
