Jane & Marc have created the perfect farm camping experience for kids and adults a like - we really enjoyed our relaxed stay here. The farm setup has been well thought out and you can see the love and passion they have not only for the care of the animals, but for the land and in sharing it with others. The amenities (portas and cold shower) are well looked after and the communal area/ playground area is a welcome bonus and setup with thought. Can't wait to return in the winter for the campfire! Only dampener on our experience here (other then a few storms) was the party going on to 10:30pm on our last night, screaming profanities across the valley in a family friendly environment. The other nights drifting to sleep with a chorus of differing animal noises was far preferred. The farm tour is a must to get the most from your stay here - and getting an insight into what the farm really focuses on - the animal welfare.

We just had the most magical stay at Sandlewood Downs as 2 families (4 adults and 3 kids) We stayed at the goat mountain site and loved it. All the sites would have been great. We loved being immersed in nature and near the animals. It was the perfect balance of nature and privacy from other campers, whilst also having access to a flushing toilet which appeared to be continually cleaned, and a beautiful cold shower. The nature playground was shady and fun and the kids loved it. We did the animal feeding tour and loved hearing about the animals which were largely rescues. It was touching seeing how much Jane and Marc love their animals and how well cared for they are. We got to see 2 new born alpacas which was special. Can't wait to return!

We loved camping at the Billabong Site. The daily visits from the Highlander Cows and access to roam around the farm was so great! The family loved the animal tour and learnt so much about the animals, the land and the hosts. We were lucky enough to be there on the day a baby Llama was born so there were 2 babies roaming around. Such beautiful place, thanks for having us! We will definitely be back!

My partner and I booked this as a last minute city escape for 2 nights and absolutely LOVED it. It's the perfect location as a getaway from the city. Our favourite parts were: starry skies, our own paddock which was nice and quiet, super lovely hosts, and the cows (so cute). I will definitely be coming back!

Come and visit us in Mooliabeenee, situated in the beautiful Shire of Chittering. Camper vans, caravans and tents are welcome. Sites are on a slight slope. The Hive Cafe is open Fri & Sat Night 6pm-8pm Sat & Sun 11am-3pm Unfortunately, we've had to raise our camping fees due to theft, breakages, and irresponsible behaviour that persistently occur. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NO-SMOKING FARM. Interaction with farm animals. There are roosters that will crow early morning. PLEASE DO NOT CHASE ANY OF THE ANIMALS. ALL sites are NON-powered Dogs on leash allowed outside only, not inside café. Campfires - (campfires are only allowed when fire bans are lifted). Nearest toilet dump site is Bindoon Oval. Recycling Bins are available. Generator noise can disturb other people’s enjoyment of the area and disturb native wildlife and the farm animals, so think about using alternatives. Solar panels and inverters are the best ways to provide power for your must-have devices when camping and can be used anywhere. However we do allow generators, but they can only operate strictly between 9am-6pm. Turn down all music and please lower your voices at 8pm, we don't mind if you still have fun, but take other campers into consideration please. All equipment is PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Playground Rules: - Adult Supervision required for use - No bare feet, wear proper footwear - Do not use play equipment improperly - No pushing or shoving Free honey tastings are available when shop is open, but please ask and we can arrange a tasting for you. We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

Jacaranda Hill Farm

We are closed from 1 Dec through to 31 March due to High Fire Risk. Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions). We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk.

Everything Horses Ltd

5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. There is a $50 repair charge for broken or damaged sprinklers and $250 for solenoids. Injuries and fatalities to our animals. We have 2 dogs Mack(BIG PUPPY) & Vegas (pug sometimes I’m hard to see from your car) free range chickens and Guinea fowl that like to visit For any injuries caused guests are 100% liable for all vet costs. fatalities to the birds incur a $150 fee. Due to council and safety regulations, on days with catastrophic fire warnings and vehicle movement bans the property is required to be evacuated. If the need for evacuation occurs you will be refunded the portion of your stay when the warnings are in place. Gas cookers are allowed during the summer however no fire or coal/webber cookers. Under NO circumstances is outside timber/firewood to be brought onto our property for bio security reasons. If you do you will be asked to wrap it,seal it and take it home immediately! FUN STUFF Beautiful reticulated property, grassy sites and plenty of wildlife. Usually plenty of room to spread out ( not so much in peak periods) Relax on our beautiful lawns or one of our hammocks and let the resident frogs 🐸 sing you to sleep. As you wander you may help yourself to the herbs growing but please leave the fruit and veg! lay out a picnic blanket and have a glass of wine and nibbles. They will pair beautifully with our homemade jams and chutneys available onsite. On hot days I’m happy to turn on the retic for big & little kids to run through. Located on the foothills of the Darling Range in Keysbrook Western Australia, Bolinda Vale Farm is a real working farm breeding Beef cattle and Merino sheep which has been in the same family since 1926. A great property to reconnect with country Please note, to get to the campsites there is a farm track and for most, a creek crossing. We recommend 4WD or SUV to access ALL campsites. There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds. Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds. The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm. You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water We have a Leave No Trace policy, so ask that you please take all waste with you. Strictly No Pre Booking tours of campsites allowed, a good description and photos of each campsite is available online. ALL campers are to be booked in prior to arriving at the farm.
