We have a 2-acre orchard with seasonal fruit available to be picked. ( Feb / March) The farm has over 100 king protea bushes and many other varieties of protea. Seasonal pick your own flowers too. ( Aug - Jan) Backing onto the national park and walking tracks. Jehoshaphat Gully, Shelley Harris Track, Mt Jerusalem Track. Walking distance to Kinglake historic walk, Cookson Hill Track, Mt Everard Track, Bollygum Park. Visit Mason Falls Waterfall, 12-minute drive to Kinglake West. We have 2 dogs, 6 pet sheep and 4 lambs, 2 blue tongue lizards The farming area is completely fenced in, this is to keep the deer out, but you can venture out onto the property bush land with the correct map and navigation equipment. Our walk the neighboring farm (105 acres) Eagles, cockatoos, black cockatoos, kookaburras, magpies, rosellas, king parrots, Gang-gang cockatoo, honey eaters can be spotted most days and lyrebirds if you’re keen to go looking. Small playground with swings, slide, monkey bars and sandpit. Taxi service - The Graceful-Goat to get you around to the local eats and wineries. The Kinglake market is on the 4th Sunday of each month 10-2pm - Except December which is the Sunday before Christmas - twilight 2-7pm - No market in January. The St. Andrews market is every Saturday, 9am to 1pm just 12 minutes down the mountain. Whittlesea market is on every Monday 9am - 1pm We manage 2 sites on our farm and 2 sites on the neighboring farm

Nestled right beside the Murrundini River, all 3 campsites are beside the river, and well spaced apart for privacy and peace. Campsite 2 (site two) is shady, surrounded by tall swamp gums, black wood wattles and tree ferns. This spot is at its best from late spring through to autumn . Site One is a large flat area beside the river that is good all year round. It has fencing and gates, perfect to let dogs run free without going too far. Site 3 (Craig's flat), is a large open campsite, able to take more camper-vans/ tents with plenty of space. All sites have fire places and gas BBQ's (byo gas bottle) And there are plenty of fish for those that want to try their luck. The original home stead (built in 1876) burnt down in the 2009 black Saturday fires. There still remains many 150+ year old elms and other European trees near the toilet block, which are delightful in autumn. We have some fantastic views from the hill up and down the Murundindi Valley, especially at sunset. We're located only a few short km's from Wilhelmina Falls and Murundindi Scenic Reserve, you get the best part of the river, without the crowds. We are a short drive from Melbourne, and easy access to the townships of Yea and Yarra Glen for supplies if you need them. Amazing, abundant and rare bird life to enjoy and photograph. (see guests photos). With no light pollution this is the ideal spot for star gazing.

Pollys paddock is named after a beautiful palomino horse named Polly, who lived here as a loved member of our family into her early 40s. Polly's Paddock is a quiet camping area on the Mornington Peninsula. We are a couples only camping (adults only), no children, for safety reasons with a dam close by. Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses. We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches. This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block. We offer 2 flat caravan sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power. There is a site with a glamping tent set in the garden. The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided. It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks. All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet. For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam. Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater. Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here. No dogs on the glamping tent site. Campfires are allowed during the cooler months, left to the hosts discretion for safety reasons. We supply a fire pit. BYO wood. No fires apart from in the fire pits provided are to be lit. Fires are to be extinguished before going to bed or leaving. We only have one campsite available at the very rear beside the forest so you will have complete privacy. There is an area of thick native forest and a stand of the critically endangered bush, the Round-leaf Pomaderris, right near the camping area. There is an abundance of birdlife at the camping location, including kookaburras, fairy wrens, greater shrike thrushes, robins, bellbirds, wedge-tail eagles, magpies and owls (namely boobooks). We are within easy reach of Toolangi State Forest with many walks and trails, including the WirraWilla Rainforest Walk and the Kalatha Giant Mountain Ash tree walk. This area is also popular for 4 wheel driving and there are plenty of tracks in the nearby state forest if you have the correct gear, vehicle and an appreciation for the wilderness. Healesville, Yarra Glen and Kinglake are equal distance away (18-20 minute drives) with services, plenty of cafes, restaurants, wineries and shopping: Healesville: Coles, IGA, Aldi Yarra Glen: IGA Kinglake: Foodworks Relax around the fire in the evenings (out of the fire danger season) and enjoy some great star gazing. Sorry, no pets. There is a toilet block onsite with a camp toilet but you can bring your own camping toilet if you desire. Please leave our beautiful spot as you found it, take your rubbish with you and respect the natural environment :)

We're located only a few short km's from Wilhelmina Falls and Murundindi Scenic Reserve, you get the best part of the river, without the crowds. We offer 2 flat caravan sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power. There is a site with a glamping tent set in the garden. The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided. It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks. All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet. For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam. Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater. Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here. No dogs on the glamping tent site. It was pure joy to wake up on Miller's farm. The rooster heralded dawn - better than any alarm clock. That inspired the chorus of birdsong; kookaburras, cockatoos, wattlebirds, magpies, currawongs. That in turn encouraged the sheep - they started their day bleating for their feathered friends to join them. Farmer Anne let the feathers free and mayhem reigned. Chooks, turkeys and the sole duck running around chatting with excitement at the new day. The goats and alpacas were pretty happy to say hi too. How lucky were we to be part of it. Highly recommend Miller's Camp - check in was easy. Communication great. Anne was lovely. Camp kitchen was a bonus. Great stay. Thankyou.

Throw in a line to catch a silver perch, bass or get the kids to catch some yabbies, they are great cooked up with chilli & garlic. Our property joins onto the Neerim East State Park for those walking enthusiasts or we can accommodate your horse in our yards should you want to explore the bush with many tracks directly from the property. We offer drinking water & toilet accessed from house. Neerim South is home to many wildlife and expect to see many bird species, kangaroos, deer and the odd wombat trailing through. Chris & I are campers ourselves, so we know how nice it is to have a quiet and private spot all to ourselves, however before long you have people on top of you at caravan parks or at free camping you may experience the doof doof music until god knows what hour. So we offer exclusive private campsite all to your self, we only book one group at a time. Neerim South is home to many wildlife and expect to see many bird species, kangaroos, deer and the odd wombat trailing through. FIRE PLAN In the event of high fire danger periods our campers may be asked to evacuate the property for their safety. Instructions will be provided prior. In the event of fires in surrounding areas, it may be necessary to cancel a future booking and or evacuate the site at short notice, this will be reimbursed by Hipcamps. Campers will be notified in the event of total fire bans, this mean no outside fires.
