The local beach is iconic for surfing and swimming, the local creek is a favourite at the inlet for young kids to swim or for canoeists to have somewhere quiet to paddle. Mountain biking is a must in the area, with thousands of tracks available right outside the back door. If you have your own horse this can be bought along and we have paddocks available. There are so many gorgeous tracks around to ride on and beach riding at low tide and the right times is a bucket list item! The location itself is 17 acres and is next to the Painkallac creek in a peaceful bush setting. This location used to be a horse riding school which is now not running but has been converted to offer camping, caravan and RV parking. It’s only 1.5 km from the beach and the Otway national park is right on your doorstep. If you have bikes, horses or love to hike or run, it’s a perfect location, be ready to be spoilt as there are so many tracks on offer in our stunning local beach and bush land. The local town of aireys inlet has plenty to offer, a general store for all your essentials, loads of places to eat out for breakfast, lunch or dinner and only 1 3/4hrs from Melbourne. We are apologise but we are currently closed for visitors. Whether it is a weekend away or a stop over on your travels, we welcome you to our farm. We are the perfect spot for your trip to the Otways and great ocean road. We are only a few short minutes from Otways and short trip to coastal towns. You can enjoy a day in the Otways or great ocean road and come back to your secured camp spot on our farm. You will also get to experience farm life up close. Meet the animals or just relax and enjoy the space. We have 40 acres for you to wander around and enjoy. Collect the eggs or pat the donkeys, Meet the cows and guinea fowl, or enjoy a campfire (weather and Fire Danger period permitting). All our paddocks are treed, providing shelter to visitors and animals. We now have our gypsy van for the adventurous. Most importantly we know how important it is to provide adequate space between campers so you will not be crammed in - our promise to you. Visitors are more than welcome to bring the kids bikes to ride around on. You may like to bring the kite or outdoor games, however we do not allow motor activities that may disturb the animals. There is Barwon Park Mansion, owned by the National Trust nearby that you can take a peek through or enjoy the river walks in the town center, less than 2km away. Shops, including a supermarket, are in town if you forgot something. There are also some collectable shops you can visit. If you are trying to book and have difficulties, try instant booking. Guests must be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.

We are an animal rescue sanctuary and have rescued camels, horses, sheep, cows, donkeys, alpacas and chickens as well as dogs. Please note these are very friendly animals, the sheep are particularly friendly and curious. The sheep roam the property. The property has two dams, it is well treed with large open parts and has a beautiful view to Mount Macedon. Kangaroos, possums and echidnas also live here. You are welcome to walk the property and visit the farm animals during your stay (as long as you stay on the outside of paddocks/yards). The rate includes a small tour of our farm sanctuary. If you would like a tour with professional photography please contact us for details. Access for caravans and trailers. Gravel entrance. Can be boggy in wet weather - please check with me. No amenities so campers must have own toilet and leave no trace. Dogs permitted but must be well behaved and not chase livestock (on lead). Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place (gather your own).

Wonderful place to stay, great location and lovely gallery and cafe. Owners were wonderful, and it was quick and easy to get to Melbourne and other more touristy towns. Lovely town as well, friendly and with everything you need. Existing photos don’t do it justice, it is a lovely property!

Weekend Trip to Olive Farm

We loved our stay, and will definitely be back. The Olive farm was a perfect weekend escape from the hustle and bustle of life - we could slow down, soak in the sun, bird song and beautiful landscapes. Our 12 year old loved the kayaks available to paddle around the dam and up the creek. A great spot if you’re a bird watcher as we sighted many species.

Really nice secluded, private spot with a ripper toilet and friendly, likeable host. Chris' place is spacious and secluded with some interesting rustic metal antiques placed around the property. There's a couple of very solid tables for storing food stuff and doing your cooking & washing up so don't bother bringing a camp table like we did!

Belinda's paddock was just what we needed for our two camping families for an overnight stop. A large mown space, isolated but close enough to town. The fire pit was great. Belinda was a great host. Lots of joeys around for the kids to enjoy spotting. Lovely fire pit too.

Nobody else in site. Plenty of room if other campers arrive (no need to camp right on top of each other lile I've experienced elsewhere). The Little River pub is not far away and the do awesome beef ribs and cold beers. Cheers

Wow! What a great little camp. We booked here to be close to Sovereign Hill for the kids. It was a lovely little camp for our group of two families. The grass was green, the sun was shining, there was plenty of shade and great facilities around the camp fire, like tables. We loved the rusty relics but a true highlight was the Powder Room. Thanks for having us Chris. We hope to be back one day. Don't hesitate in booking Penzance. One of our favourite campsites this trip.

Weekend Trip to Seahorse stud

Seahorse farm is a camper’s dream. Host Caroline has a heart of gold and made us feel at home. Surrounded by bush and a short drive to the beach, the location and surrounds is as good as it gets. Caroline’s gentle horses were great neighbours, an amazing experience camping alongside them. Already planning the next trip back!!!
