The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Please remember that guests must be fully self-contained with their own toilet and shower facilities, and it's essential to take all waste with you upon departure. Additionally, campfires are more than welcome in our designated fire pit, creating a cozy atmosphere for you and your fellow campers to enjoy. Pets are allowed on leash.

Wonderful stay at Strath Creek Station. We had a spacious creek-front site with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We had a gorgeous stop over on Michael's property! The site was extremely private and we pulled in nice and close to the icy creek, which didn't stop the kids getting in and exploring for hours! We were self sufficient so didn't use the toilets on site, but Michael was extremely accommodating with our questions

We loved our campsite, right next the river and under shady trees. Spaced far enough away from other campers that you feel private. Toilet facilities and bbq made life really easy and host provided really clear instructions. We are definitely booking again.

We had a wonderful time at Susan's campsite. The location is stunning and the campsite is very well equipped with an outdoor kitchen area, a fire pit, an outdoor table and benches and a hut with a table and chairs. The hut was perfect for playing cards while it was raining. Also the campsite is very private. We fell in love with the landscape: green rolling hills, gorgeous-looking cows, and pristine rainforest. Thank you Susan for sharing your beautiful property. And being able to bring our dog was a big +. We will be back. The toolshed at Noojie is a great spot to have dinner. ❤️🐮🦆

We loved camping at the Boulder Brook Valley. Beautiful nature so close to the city. Nice setup, with flowing water, and the pergola was very handy. The planes didn't really bother us.

I very much enjoyed staying at Shack’s Bottom Padock - decided last minute to come here due to the total fire ban issues at the Grampians where I had originally booked. Damian was a great host - thank you for the fire pit and watering can, and also for checking in on me when it got a bit stormy.

We had an amazing time at the site by the lake. The group of 8 were evenly spaced out on comfortable flat grass. Ammenities were great to have and is a luxury during this occasion. I will definetly come back with a rod and reel next time!

This place is seriously beautiful, and the host was friendly and welcoming. The sites are spaced wide apart, and come with their own fire pit and toilet. The creek is gorgeous, and if you're lucky like I was, you'll see a platypus! There's a lot more to comment on but I don't want to ramble, so I suggest booking asap!

A beautiful piece of countryside. The fenced site allowed our dogs to roam just enough. So many native birds, and the river is mesmerising if cold in your feet.
