There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. You are welcome to walk the property and visit the farm animals during your stay(as long as you stay on the outside of paddocks/yards) There are dams and a seasonal creek running through the property, providing many options for campsites and also fishing(catch and release) (Please note creek is seasonal and not suitable for swimming). Our property is located in Heathcote just 30 minutes from Bendigo. The property has plenty of space for a variety of camping options that will suit your needs. We are a 20 minute drive from Lake Eppalock which is a great spot for those who love their fishing, boating and swimming. We are 10 minutes from the O'Keefe Trail which is perfect for those who like to explore by bike or by foot. There are a variety of great wineries and cellar doors nearby for you to explore, most of who sell their own local produce. Local pub and a variety of cafes are all within a 15 minutes drive. We are also close to 4WD and motorbike tracks, campers are not permitted to ride motorbikes on the property. Campfires are permitted out of the fireban season, please check the CFA website to be up to date with any restrictions at the time of your stay. Campers must use the fire drum available to them. The shelter area also an old BBQ that you are welcome to use. Please take all waste with you and leave the site as you found it.

Another excellent trip exploring more of the property. This is my third trip to the farm and it only gets better! I spent two days exploring the property and taking some scenic photographs of some of my artworks (paintings). Such a beautiful spot with an abundance of wildlife and epic nature. I couldn't recommend this site enough, my personal favorite site is Creek Flat, check it out you wont be disappointing.

Everything was perfect. Mark's communication was responsive and when we got to site yhe area was flat, large and easy to set up our caravan. The site was spotless. That is the boring detail stuff out of the way, now to the superlatives. From our site we could see a billabong like part of the creek and it eas lovely to watch the farm animals, birds and insects drop in for a drink. Sitting on the bank fishing was relaxing and rewarding (with some decent bites). The sun rose over the creek, paddock and quarry and was just gorgeous. Because it was mid week Mark said I could check out the other sites (which I did-planning a return visit). The dogs loved the open spaces snd paddling in the creek. I couldn't have asked more a peaceful place for a pre Christmas break from the crazy. Thank you Mark for sharing your beautiful property.

Amazing campsites next to the little river. The sites are far apart, and especially Island Bend is a very private spot. We enjoyed the cool water in the river on the hot days. So many birds, and large trees, really love this place.

As we drove onto the property, I instantly felt like I could breathe — it was absolutely beautiful. We stayed at the Creek Flat site, which was perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway. The host was very friendly and happily answered all our questions, which made the stay even easier. The property is large, with plenty of wildlife and farm animals wandering around, adding to the charm. We only stayed for two nights but truly wished we could have stayed longer.

Lovely safe flat mowed grass area with a central communal shed for shade and some trees. A great place for children. The power was great with extra long leads to borrow so you can take advantage of most areas on the property. Taps for drinking water. Nicely tucked away from the roads and private from the house but very convenient with the shops less than 3 KMs away. So nice to be next to the State park too with a private gate so you can explore the old gold mining area very easily. The shower and toilet were clean and a definite bonus. The many friendly dogs, cats and birds would delight children. A lovely spot. Recommended.

Stunning, peaceful spot - perfect for a camping getaway. The campfire was nice, and the flat grounds made pitching our tent super easy. Being so close to the Loddon River was ideal for our fishing. Beautiful views all around - lots of ground for our dog to run around.
