The camping site is located in a beautiful location overlooking the lavender fields, in bloom december/january, with the ever-changing Mt Roland in the background. And there is a boat ramp just a few kms down the road to launch your boat. The Bunkhouse is a beautifully built structure, with large windows and plenty of space. It's two storey, with the upper open-plan level accommodating 8 people in single bunk beds. A further two guests can sleep on the large sofa bed downstairs. The bunkhouse is fully self-contained with a kitchenette, toilet and shower.Clean sheets and blankets . Wi- Fi and streamed TV movie channels Please note - this is not the ritz! It's a simple bunkhouse, providing shelter to sleep, in a great location. If you wish to make use of the firepit, you'll need to BYO wood, this firepit is not often used. Instead, we'd recommend bringing a small portable bbq with you to set up by the river! You're welcome to bring pets too.

The camping site is located in a beautiful location overlooking the lavender fields, in bloom december/january, with the ever-changing Mt Roland in the background. being my first time in the area, it was very convenient for me to travel to MBP.the camp made it easy for me having the ammenities like toilet and hot shower. i didnt get to use the laundry and bbq. but it is there when needed. the place is neat, peaceful & relaxing. It is very safe as well. I got to just leave my tent for the day and it was still the same when I got back.I would definitely use their services again when I go back to Maydena

Great camp-site. Well located to use as a base to explore from each day. Power and water connected. Hot shower with good pressure. Clean facilities. Great camp kitchen, with pizza oven, BBQ, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle.great hospitality and special mention to Wendy. Mrs chook also provide fun interaction for us and our 3 kids. Highly recommend families seeking an adventure and a well located, friendly and well provided camp site

Awesome spot by the Blythe River. We arrived late in the evening and the host still came out to greet us, which was really nice. The toilet and shower was a big win for us which saved us having to use the fresh water in our camper. The river is literally right next to the campground, giving easy access to running water. Had a memorable night by the river! Greatly recommended👍🏻

I was greeted on arrival and shown the appropriate camping spots. Caretaker was super nice and friendly. The campsite has all the right amenities- fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave so it’s easy to organise your food. Also a pizza oven and barbecue. Owner came over with muffins on my first morning which was super nice. Chicken seemed to undo my tent pegs while I was away during the day. Overall great stay with lovely views.

What an absolutely beautiful spot to camp! We were here midweek for 2 nights and had the place to ourselves. The hot shower and toilet were an added bonus and so appreciated. Directions were easy to follow. Thank you for sharing your fabulous property with us!

Lovely babbling brook to camp next to on a grassy large block, with plenty of room for other campers. Campfires allowed which was much appreciated, as it was really cold and wet the weekend we were there. We loved watching the horses in the nearby paddock get excited when their feed was delivered. We were very happy to find this hipcamp at short notice with a shower & toilet, as the pump in our van broke during the long weekend. Easy self access into the property.

Welcome to Wobbly Gate Estate! This is glamping with a side of real camping in the Tasmanian bush. Goats and sheep will stroll around and you have over 20 acres all to yourself to explore. We're located up a gravel road on the northwest coast, you won't find any other tourists here. Soak in the woodfired tub, under the blackwood tree. Cosy up to the wood fire, roasting marshmallows in your star Gazer yurt. A comfy queen bed and a backyard of adventure, it's a Tasmanian version of luxury camping. Our Yurt location is known as The Top Paddock - A Little Inside Information: Well in my opinion (and a few others) I am Living The Dream! I started living here permanently seven years ago, most of the property's out dwellings and the Cabin is built from recycled, reclaimed materials or been handed down. I am fully off the grid and in the process of trying to become self-sufficient. The water is pumped from a springfed dam and mostly gravity-ed. It's a little like McDonald's Farm, an array of birds and animals. There's an orchard, hothouse and a Raspberry patch which may be my favourite spot when they're fruiting. It really is an amazing lifestyle, peaceful, relaxing and rewarding. You should come see for yourself 😉
