There are only basic supplies to be had at the post office, open Mon to Fri, so get all major supplies before arrival. There is a cafe and restaurant option as well. We are pet friendly however all pets must be kept under control to keep the wildlife safe. Campfires are permitted in our allocated fireplace except on days of total fire ban. It's a little like McDonald's Farm, an array of birds and animals. There's an orchard, hothouse and a Raspberry patch which may be my favourite spot when they're fruiting. There are two kayaks and two SUPs you are welcome to use. And there is a boat ramp just a few kms down the road to launch your boat. The Bunkhouse is a beautifully built structure, with large windows and plenty of space. It's two storey, with the upper open-plan level accommodating 8 people in single bunk beds. A further two guests can sleep on the large sofa bed downstairs. The bunkhouse is fully self-contained with a kitchenette, toilet and shower.Clean sheets and blankets . Wi- Fi and streamed TV movie channels Please note - this is not the ritz! It's a simple bunkhouse, providing shelter to sleep, in a great location. If you wish to make use of the firepit, you'll need to BYO wood, this firepit is not often used. Instead, we'd recommend bringing a small portable bbq with you to set up by the river! Weekend Trip to Badger's View Farmstay

We only booked last minute but Diana made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She was kind enough to accomodate an early check in, so that we could make a nearby wedding on time. We didn’t get much time to ‘hang out’ at the property but it was obvious that there was a lot of care taken in making sure all guests have a memorable and lovely stay. We had a lovely chat to Diana on the way out and it was great to hear about all of the nearby mountain bike tracks and how they started the cabins (she even let me feed the cows)! I would highly recommend.

What a great find! And so close to Maydena, we loved our stay here. So quiet and the comfiest beds ever. Loved the option of cooking outside on the table and enjoying the views. Great secure storage for our bikes and Andrew & Maree such great hosts. We will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Ladybug Campgrounds

We had a lovely stay at this quaint campsite. It’s clear the hosts have put a lot of care into creating a welcoming space — from the tin of marshmallows and card games, to the fairy lights strung up around the site that gave it a magical feel in the evening. The firewood bundle we purchased was generous (definitely good value), and it made for a great night around the campfire. The hosts checked in on us just enough to make sure we had what we needed without intruding — really appreciated that balance. A perfect little spot to slow down, unwind, and enjoy nature with a few thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special. Would definitely come back.

I stayed in the caravan for a couple of nights while at an event at the Maydena Bike Park. It’s only 2min drive from the centre of town, had all I needed for my stay. It was clean, warm and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely stunning location!! Quick and easy transaction with managers and Vicki and her partner never said No to any reasonable requests - even brought a fire pit down to our pod and some extra cooking gear because we were traveling on motorcycles!! The facilities were spotless and cosy to use - great temperature in the bathroom and the pod! So lovely right next to the river and the walks from the property are a must do!! Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back!! Hoping by then there are eco hot tubs or similar by then.. I’d extend my stay for sure !! Thank you for a memorable time 🪶✨

Weekend Trip to Wilder Tasmania

What a place! Absolutely incredible service, a gorgeous staying space, with a beautifully warm fire, all under the most amazing backdrop of Mt Roland and surrounding mountains. We enjoyed a pre-prepared meal from the lodge, and then a hot outdoor bath on a cold night and watched the stars, before climbing into the most comfortable kingsize bed ever. Loved every second of this stay, and would highly recommend to others.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Natures Edge Caravan. The property is relaxing, peaceful and scenic, with cute native wallabies hopping by to keep you company. The caravan was fully equipped with everything you need and very clean and comfortable. The bathroom and shower are close by and after walking past some beautiful tree ferns your entry is greeted with timber features and a wonderful spa scent. Maree and Andrew were very kind and welcoming. They do a great job keeping the gardens nice and provided a tour to orientate us when we arrived. The caravan is seperate to the house building and feels very private and not too secluded. We knew our lovely hosts were there if we needed, but they didn’t linger or interrupt us at all. The property is just a 15 minute walk from the Maydena township and I have no doubt I will be back to stay again. Thank you!

Weekend Trip to The Bunkhouse at Camp Infinite

Our family, all adults and one very pregnant daughter, had a great time, it was an adventure taking the kayaks and paddle boards down to the water. We weren’t in a rush and we had plenty of laughs trying to get on and off the boards. It was basic accommodation, we bought our BBQ and Eskies, there was a small fridge and we spent most of our time outside, taking in the serenity. What a view! We took our camp chairs too, just for added comfort, there were plenty of chairs provided. Our dogs had a fantastic time, tired them out swimming and playing cricket. Brad lives next door, we wouldn’t have known he was there. I did speak to Brad prior and he was very obliging, gave great directions and we would definitely go there again. Thanks Brad for allowing us to stay at your lodge, letting us take our dogs and for being a great host.
