Badgers Flats is a seven acres property surrounded by big trees and edged by a beautiful mountain river. There are four campsites available, two cabins and a bus. Its off grid. Its very close to some spectacular walks. Some incredible old growth forest home to some of the worlds largest trees. There are also alpine lakes for more adventurous campers.

Composting toilet nearby. Climb stairs to get to it. Drinking water not easily available. Shower unavailable.

James’s camping area is a beautiful piece of nature. There are plenty of things to see in the area with James being a welcoming host along with being a wealth of information. The accommodation is basic but the location makes up for it I would say again

Excellent location close to planned outdoor activities / hikes in the area. Friendly host and pets. Great value for money and no need to pitch tents or drag out my camping gear. Everything I needed was there including Wi-Fi access. Highly recommend 🙂🙏

James was a very friendly and welcoming host. He made sure we had everything we needed and gave us useful advice about great local sightseeing opportunities (giant trees). The property is very peaceful.
