Our property is situated on the edge of Maydena, surrounded by nature at its best. Ideally located for the mountain bike adventurer, with the world renowned Maydena Bike Park right on our doorstep. We are also surrounded by both Mt Field and South West National Parks as well as the Styx and Florentine valleys, home to some of Australia's tallest trees. Enjoy any number of activities including bushwalking, trout fishing, kayaking or simply just taking in the stunning views. We are offering self contained caravan accommodation as well as a private camp site for up to 2 vehicles. Campers must have their own amenities if staying at the campground, as there is no shower or toilet facilities. Nearest toilet and dump station is 1km away in the Maydena township. There are only basic supplies to be had at the post office, open Mon to Fri, so get all major supplies before arrival. There is a cafe and restaurant option as well. We are pet friendly however all pets must be kept under control to keep the wildlife safe. Campfires are permitted in our allocated fireplace except on days of total fire ban. Bring your own firewood or prebook a wheelbarrow full. Come and relax after your day of adventuring and enjoy the tranquillity of this ideal location.

This tranquil site is yours to have to yourself for groups of up to 8. Situated next to our dam in the grassy paddock, you'll get to take in the views of the surrounding bushland and mountains. You must be fully self sufficient as there is no access to toilet, showers or water however the township of Maydena is only 1km away where toilets and a dump station is available. Please take your rubbish and leave no trace. Dogs are allowed but must be kept under control to protect wildlife. Campfires are permitted in our allocated fireplace however not on days of total fireban.

This funky, retro caravan is a perfect place to use as a base to explore the amazing surrounding areas. It is quiet and private, providing you with everthing that you need. It has a double bed and a lounge that can convert to a single bed for a child or small adult if need be. It is fully equipped for all your cooking needs with tea and coffee making facilities available. There's also access to a hot shower and a flush toilet located nearby. If you prefer to sit under the stars and cook around a campfire, that option is available too. Bring your own firewood or prebook a wheelbarrow full. Also, ask us about the possibilities of pitching a tent around the caravan, if you would like to accomodate more people. We're situated only 1km from the Maydena township and world renowned bike park as well as being the gateway to both Mt Field and SW National Parks.

Great location. Retro caravan was cosy, clean and provided everything we needed. Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. We would recommend this area to visit and explore all the wonderful surrounding areas. Thanks Andy and Maree.

What a great find! And so close to Maydena, we loved our stay here. So quiet and the comfiest beds ever. Loved the option of cooking outside on the table and enjoying the views. Great secure storage for our bikes and Andrew & Maree such great hosts. We will definitely be back.

Great spot to get away for a few days. The hosts Andrew and Maree are lovely. They even have fresh free range eggs you can purchase. Cannot wait to go back again real soon.

Great location and you have the place all to yourself! Great communication from hosts. Maree came to welcome us and then left us to our privacy. Great location, close to the bike park and all of the natural wonders around the area.

Pleasant, quiet location.

I stayed in the caravan for a couple of nights while at an event at the Maydena Bike Park. It’s only 2min drive from the centre of town, had all I needed for my stay. It was clean, warm and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay at Maree and Andrew’s. They’re super lovely and the camp spot is gorgeous. Really private and sheltered. We enjoyed a camp fire at night looking at the stars. We’ll be back for sure!

Great spot nestled in between Westerway and Strathgordon to explore what the region has to offer. Andrew and Maree were a lovely couple. Very accommodating, very friendly and very knowledgeable of the local area. Directions were clear. They are just starting out so give them a go, highly recommend it. Their house is close by so respect is a must. The Cormarant bird in the pond was very entertaining.

Lovely peaceful site, plenty of space to relax. We enjoyed having a fire under the stars and visits from the local wildlife. Easy access to the Mountain bike park and the local sites. Hosts are really friendly and easy to deal with. Highly recommended, we will definately be back again.

From the moment we arrived, Andrew and Maree were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. Their local knowledge was invaluable, helping us discover some hidden gems in the area that we wouldn’t have found otherwise. The campsite itself was beautifully peaceful, perfect for relaxing and unwinding in nature. The facilities were well-maintained, and everything was clean and comfortable. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat or a base to explore the region, this place is an excellent choice. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

A peaceful and comfortable delight
Caravan Accommodation
We absolutely loved our stay in the Natures Edge Caravan. The property is relaxing, peaceful and scenic, with cute native wallabies hopping by to keep you company. The caravan was fully equipped with everything you need and very clean and comfortable. The bathroom and shower are close by and after walking past some beautiful tree ferns your entry is greeted with timber features and a wonderful spa scent. Maree and Andrew were very kind and welcoming. They do a great job keeping the gardens nice and provided a tour to orientate us when we arrived. The caravan is seperate to the house building and feels very private and not too secluded. We knew our lovely hosts were there if we needed, but they didn’t linger or interrupt us at all. The property is just a 15 minute walk from the Maydena township and I have no doubt I will be back to stay again. Thank you!
