The Apex Beachside Holiday Park is centrally located on the North West coast of Tasmania in a private beachside setting in the township of Ulverstone. A short 20 minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania Terminal, Ulverstone is the perfect base to commence a tour of Tasmania including some of the state’s popular attractions Cradle Mountain, Leven Canyon, Gunns Plains Caves and the Tarkine Coast. The park has frontage and direct access to two beaches as well as the coastal pathway which passes immediately by the Parks main entry. The park is also home to a colony of little penguins, who return from a day at sea to their burrows in the foreshore reserve immediately adjacent to the campsites.

Overall was nice, great location and facilities are nice. But don't see why we have to pay to use the showers, especially when they're locked and price paid for campground only. Would've preferred it being a dollar or two extra without coin operated showers. Also I know you can't help wildlife doing their business but there was so much droppings around. Fresh and old. Felt like either had to choose to pick it up by hand or feel like I was camping in a litter box.

Wow, best value camp site I've EVER camped at. Right on the beach, clean modern amenities, amazing camp "kitchen" with fireplace, lounges, recliner, music player to plug your phone into, 2 fridges, 2 microwaves, and more. Our site was nice grass with power and water hook up and the sounds of gentle waves to put you to sleep. The park is well maintained and the hosts super friendly. Hot showers are only $1 for 7 minutes.

Beachside was awesome. The place is well-equipped, the amenities accessible and clean...and so close to the beach. It was bliss :) The owners are friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Will stay here again no doubt :)
