Just a short turn off from the Great Eastern Drive between Triabunna and Swansea, with easy access to Maria Island and Freycinet National Park, Kanyini Camp is a beautiful and serene piece of land backing on Butlers Ridge Nature reserve with sweeping country views. We are one of only a few farms on a no through road and offer a unique experience of peace and serenity while being close to some of the major attractions the East Coast of Tasmania has to offer. We are located only a 10 minutes drive to one of the most beautiful (secret) beaches in Tasmania and 15 minutes drive to Triabunna where the ferry departs for Maria Island. We live on site (a few acres away across the rivulet) and are delighted to offer 12 opportunities for self-contained campers to camp on our private land and share our passion for the area. This is a leave no trace property that suits self-contained campers who bring everything they need and remove everything they bring. Well behaved dogs and humans are all welcome. We are farmers and this property is where we live and work. Please respect our requirement for self-contained campers only. This includes caravans and campervans with toilets on board. Our property offers are great getaway experience for any traveller. The Craigbourne Dam is a all year round recreational fishing ground and stocks many species of fish i.e. Atlantic Salmon, Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout to name a few. Our property is a pet friendly park but we do ask all patrons to be considerate of the surrounding farmland and live stock . The site offers water views, backing on to bushland. The Mount Managa Forest Reserve is very close by, with access to forestry tracks for bikes and hikes. Also very close to some great beaches where you can enjoy water activities. There is a boat ramp on the other side of bay approximately 5kms away. There are shops and cafes just down the road at Adventure Bay. 1.5 hours drive from Hobart. Guests must be full self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. This a small pocket of land (1600 sq. metres) in Mangana beside a forest that stretches all the way to Ben Lomand National Park. Walk up the hill, and see an old mine shaft part of the history of the area that was once bustling with a tin rush. Nearby is a small pond, and bit further (not on the block) a river where you can fish. Enjoy the beautiful colonial feel of the grassy paddock with golden sun rays over Ben Lomand plateau.

Craigie Knowe Vineyard is a working vineyard and cellar door, set on 20 hectares, with 5 hectares under vine. It is the oldest vineyard on the beautiful East Coast of Tasmania. The homestead was built in 1836 and is one of the most photographed houses in Tasmania. Please note Hipcamp charge an additional charge on top of the $25.00. Please look at our website for options. The cellar door is open 11-4, and offers chocolate and wine pairings, and normal tastings. We also have a restaurant on site open from 11:30 - 3:00 daily during summer. It is a beautiful vineyard with plenty of outside seating. There are also 5 other cellar doors within 10 minutes of the property, so it's a great basecamp for wine lovers! We have plenty of level ground, ideal for pulling up for a night or several. Please note, all campers must be self-contained, with their own toilet, and we kindly ask you take all waste with you. Just outside the property, the Swan River flows past, a great place to cool off on hot days, sometimes there are fish there too. Swansea is 16km away and Bicheno is 26km away. Both towns have IGA supermarkets, bottle shops and restaurants, and plenty of history. Freycinet National Park is 40 minutes, and makes for a great day trip, with beautiful walks, fantastic scenery, and of course iconic Wine Glass Bay.

The Little Garden Farm is our 100-acre forest and pasture farm that we began improving in 2023. The property is located at the base of Bruny's Isthmus, enjoying cool sea breezes in summer and mild temperatures in winter. On most Saturdays our small farmgate stall is open near the farm garden, off Bruny island Main Rd near Simpsons Bay Turn Off. Next to 70 acres of forest the location is great for birdlife, with many of Tassie's endemics around, and other wildlife abundant after dark. We are always happy to help with birding or wildlife tips! Based approx 5 minutes from Alonnah and 10 minutes from Adventure Bay, the "Woodlander" is central to so much of what Bruny Island has to offer.

3 Creeks is home to The Little Garden Farm, where you'll find your private and exclusive Campsite - The Woodlander. The Little Garden Farm is our 100-acre forest and pasture farm that we began improving in 2023. The property is located at the base of Bruny's Isthmus, enjoying cool sea breezes in summer and mild temperatures in winter. On most Saturdays our small farmgate stall is open near the farm garden, off Bruny island Main Rd near Simpsons Bay Turn Off. The farmgate stall offers farm garden produce, cookies, jams, preserves & firewood. The Woodlander Campsite is set in our bottom forest paddock, next to a dam, with a seasonal winter creek. It is private and peaceful, with no other campers, houses, or nearby neighbours. We welcome travellers, with up to two vehicles, who are here to enjoy the peace and quiet (no parties please). The campsite has its own separate access, site toilet, solid picnic table and chairs, firepit and and is approximately 600 meters from where we live. Next to 70 acres of forest the location is great for birdlife, with many of Tassie's endemics around, and other wildlife abundant after dark. We are always happy to help with birding or wildlife tips! Based approx 5 minutes from Alonnah and 10 minutes from Adventure Bay, the "Woodlander" is central to so much of what Bruny Island has to offer.

We failed to follow the directions properly and ended up at Pauline's house. Pauline was friendly and helpful. The track to the campsite is downhill and at times tricky with a 17'6'' caravan but easily navigatable however 20' plus vans may find it challenging. The campsite is by the river and has a fire ring which we used. There is a portaloo further along from the campsite which we did not visit. When camping it is best to drive into the site then easily reverse out when leaving. The only downside to the campsite was that the grass was not cut and the long grass impeded access around the van.

True magic! I would die for the views this place delivers. The views of Carlton River on the horizon are second to none. There were some friendly goats roaming around that we could even pet. Welcome to The Bush Circus. This is where I love to play and I welcome you here. All the deets you may need are listed here so read careful. Of course you can contact me if you can't work something out. You arrive here at the bottom corner of the property on Slab Rd where there is a place to park cars around several large gum trees. There is a very short walk through bush on manicured trails to one of three dedicated camp sites all of which is sign posted. There is also one RV spot at the car park. Toilet is located within a short walk from each campsite. All sights are reasonably flat and they all have a campfire. Please feel free to pick up twigs and breakable sticks to create a fire. If you want firewood it is $1 per piece and you can put this into the tin at where the firewood is collected. RV Spot- This is marked out as a section on the car park area. There may be some other cars near you but these are for the campers. Holy Tree Camp- The first sign takes you to this camp. You will see the tree with the burnt out base. Suitable for a small to medium tent. Tall Tree Camp- Second sign leads to here. It is adjacent to the tallest tree on the property. Small to medium tent. Octopus Tree Camp- Look up. You will see how it gets its name. Small to medium tent. This is a small property and if you get lost just follow the tracks you will find the camp you have booked. There are two toilets. Toilet one is for number 2's and toilet 2 is for number 1's. Just to make it confusing. All signposted but message me if you can't work it out. The circus area is not available for campers. This property features all the elements required for a camping adventure. Located on Bruny Island on an open paddock in a bush setting, you will have 60 acres to explore or relax in complete privacy. Arrive here using Sealink Bruny Island ferry. and take the Blinkbonny Rd Turn off traveling for approx 500m from the corner. The campsite is best suited to self-contained 4WD campers who must bring their own toilet/shower facilities, drinking water and supplies. Pets on leashes are welcome. Campfires are permitted in the dedicated firepit. Take a stroll down to the beach and have a swim in the turquoise coloured water at Little Taylor Bay, or explore the bush and look for spotted par-ado, swift parrot, sea and nesting pair of wedge tail eagles, hawks, plovers, honey eaters, wrens, herons, brone wing pigeons just to name some of the birds. We also have a few of the famous white kangaroos, plus lots of smaller wallabies. There are good trails for hikes and mountain biking at the Mount Midway Forest Reserve and Mount Bruny Forest Reserve. Don't miss out on the Cape Bruny Lighthouse Tour - built in 1836, it's the only heritage listed lighthouse open for tours. Please stay within the property boundaries as shown, there is no access to Daniels Bay.
