Please do not go down the 4WD only road to Beltana, proceed to the bitumen Road and follow the signs.
Beltana is a State Heritage listed town in Adnyamathanha country. Beltana
is important as it is the home of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, was influential in the establishment of the Overland Telegraph and was important is the states early settlement. Beltana has survived in spite of the challenges
and has an excellent walking trail detailing this history for visitors.
There is capacity to have a fire in a communal fire pit, but please bring your own wood. Dogs on leashes welcome.
This campsite offers a safe and comfortable place for campers who are travelling through on their holiday and need somewhere to stop overnight, but two nights is recommended to give you a chance to visit this historic town.
The town is significant is South Australian history and there is interpretative signage that provides the visitor with an informative trail.
Whilst with us visit the new Nilpena Ediacara National Park. We have the closest camping facilities.

The Scrub Campsite located in remnant vegetation (14 minutes from Victor Harbor ) is a rustic self check in campsite as the owner does not reside near the campsite.
The Scrub Campsite has evolved to offer adults-only camping experience. In response to strong demand for child-free accommodation, the campsite now operates exclusively as an 18+ campsite ideal for couples, solo travellers, and small groups seeking a tranquil and relaxing environment.
Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement.
A communal camp kitchen, water tanks and compost toilet is available for campers use. You can connect your gas bottle to a Kick Ass hot water shower. Fire pits are located at each site. Campers will be advised of fire bans by signage on the front gate. Campers are not permitted on high fire danger days.
Wood can be purchased from the self service white ibc container for $20 for a wheel barrow load.
Please adhere to the camp rules which are posted at each campsite.
The campsite is located on the Heysen Trail and close to many Lower Fleurieu Peninsula beaches and attractions. The popular Belicious Cafe is a 50 minute walk.
Whole campsite bookings for larger groups can be made by contacting the owner..

In 2019 I was sitting in my Alfresco Area feeling that the beauty offered in front of my property should be shared to people I thought might appreciate a different aspect to Coober. Since that time I have probably had 2000+ guests enjoy what Coober Pedy Views has to offer.
Whilst it remains a rustic type setting, with campers needing to be SELF SUFFICIENT (Flushing LOO with a VIEW is now available for campers without their own) I can offer Power (subject to availability) $10 pn to 6/8 sites.
Digging anywhere on the property is forbidden, there are no Opals on CPVs evident when the 3 large garages were dug. Digging softens the ground making it dangerous for avalanches on the embankments and walls especially after rain that creates washouts as you can see on the front embankments. Our Public Noodling Area is the only place in Coober safe to dig freely.

Our property is located in the rocky outcrops of the Bremer
Ranges and is
on the Bremer River in Rockleigh.
This site was once a overnight yard for the sheep farmers who were passing through the area.
We have three separate locations for campers to choose from. The Gums-
surrounded by small gum trees right near the Bremer River. The Carob- this site is situated
further back from the river and is surrounded by mulberry trees. Lastly we have The Sticks- this site is behind the scrubby bushed and
requires tight access and is more suited to tents and swags.
The decent into camp is quite narrow and steep so please drive carefully.
We are 45 minute drive
from the Lavender Federation Trail which is a popular walking track in the region.
We are only 30 minutes drive from
Monarto Conservation Park
which is a popular spot for walking trails and picnics. Monarto is also home to a Safari Park which is the largest Safari Park in Australia and home to lots of interesting animals.

Pichi Richi Park is our family owned and operated property, 13km south of Quorn in the heart of the Pichi Richi Pass.
We have plenty of campsites, including bush campsites that are secluded and private, along with campsites that are much closer to our bathrooms, group accommodation, kitchens and bush cabins.
Here at Pichi Richi Park, there are a number of signposted walking tracks ranging in distance from a few km up to a 10km+ loop. The Heysen Trail comes through our property for nearly 7km and some of our own walking tracks link with the Heysen as it meanders through our property.
You can also ride your mountain bike around and the Mawson Bike Trail is not far away.
We have over 1,000 acres of land around our accommodation that we do not graze as we are allowing this beautiful piece of Aussie outback to return to its original and pristine state.
We are not a caravan park, so all campers and caravanners that come here get a fair bit of space and nobody is on top of anyone else.
Quorn is our local town and is 13km away to the north. Quorn has 2 pubs, a number of cafes and a little supermarket that is open from 7am to 8pm 7 days a week.

Bush walking in the Spring Gully National Park is just down the road and within 2klms is the Armagh to Spring Gully trail.
Our neighbours include the fabulous Eldridge Wines, one of Clare Valleys best. Close by are many more fabulous wineries and one of the best Gin Distillers (in our opinion) in the Mid North, Sawmill Gin. The local taxi service is very accommodating and happy to come out to Seven Sisters, they will also ferry you to wineries in the area.

Once on the property there are 3 sites on our farm road with a 4th site set at the back of the property which is very secluded. All sites have seasonal fire pits.

We are not far from The Blue Lake, The little blue is also close by, and is perfect for swimming in summer. The Umpherston Caves is literally just down the road, and is wonderful for a picnic, or on dusk feeding the possums.
Sites are approx 20m x 20m, lined with trees, perfect for pitching a tent, parking a van, camper trailer, RV, or even a bus! You can even bring your boat!
We are only 25 minutes away from Port MacDonnell, put your boat in, go fishing or just enjoy the beach.
One van/tent per site (unless negotiated prior). Our sites are all located in a back paddock, it's quiet and peaceful. We have sites available to cater for RVs, vans and tents.

Our farm is also situated right in the heart of the Adelaide Hills Wine region so we really do have the best of both worlds; stunning views, peaceful surroundings plus amazing wineries, restaurants, cafes and quaint country towns right at our finger tips.
Picture waking up to beautiful views of the Mount Lofty Ranges on one side, stunning sunrise on the other and native birds singing sweetly all around you.
At The Landing you'll be surrounded by big beautiful old gum trees in a peaceful setting. You'll see a variety of bird life, kangaroos and maybe even a koala or an echidna if you're lucky.
The Landing is also situated right in the heart of the Adelaide Hills Wine region with amazing wineries, restaurants, cafes and quaint country towns right at your finger tips. We had a great weekend. Rob is a great host and is very quick to reply to messages and couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming both before and during our stay. The land is absolutely beautiful with cows, sheep and a great space for the kids to roam and play. Toilets and showers are well looked after, clean and close by. There is a wonderful games room with tv, pool table and couches to hang out in.
The gin distillery on site is wonderful as well, great for dinner and drinks. Seriously, so beautiful. We had a lovely evening up there last night, the pizzas were incredible. We can’t wait to get back!

Great camp a bit out of town with fantastic views across the plains. Plenty of room on our site with individual fire pits. Karen was a great host. Sunrise, sunset and the night sky were all beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely spot to take dogs and to relax! We thoroughly enjoyed using the fire pit and the short walk into old Aldinga for lunch! Wine tasting topped the visit. Don’t hesitate - just book!

We had a fantastic stay at Coober Pedy Views. The campsite was peaceful, quiet, and had incredible panoramic views, making it the perfect place to enjoy both sunrise and sunset. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, creating a relaxed atmosphere from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for a tranquil spot with beautiful scenery and a great base to explore Coober Pedy, we highly recommend staying here. We’d definitely come back!

We loved our stay at Coober Pedy Views. Karen is an excellent host. She let's you enjoy your time at her place in peace but is available to chat, share her knowledge or answer any questions if you want. The view from our caravan front door was stunning. Uninterrupted to the horizon. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed a view evenings sipping a warming glass or 2 of port in front of our toasty firepit. Thanks for providing these lovely firepits. The night sky amazing. It was so quiet and peaceful. Not a sound to be heard at night. Thank you Karen for such a wonderful experience.
Would stay again. Definitely recommend to family and friends. Amazing.

Nice piece of history as walk around old town. Some really well restored buildings. The pub is a gem. Camping sites are spacious, stayed on 5 which is.probaly the largest. Conveniences clean, showers good pressure and hot water.

Great Hipcamp. Toilets, showers & camp sites very clean & well maintained. Great historic town which is accessible by 12 km sealed road 30km south of Leigh Creek. Highly recommend Hipcamp & as place to visit
