Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge". We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close. With only 4 sites, we offer a spacious camping area, spread out all to enjoy the views of the mountain and creek. The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Deep Dime is a 400 acre cattle, fodder and irrigated grain farm. Our primary crop is Lucerne for hay. Creekside Camp (our main camping area) is relatively flat, well drained sites along a creek that usually runs. This area offers multiple composting toilets and wood powered hot water bush shower and outdoor bath. There is also a large permanent deep waterhole a short distance from this camping area. We have temporarily paused out Hill camp sites, due to continuing property maintenance and improvements. The Hilltop on our place is a lovely spot to watch the sunset with a glass of your favorite beverage, and even if you are camped at Creekside, you are welcome to walk or drive up to hilltop. Just remember we are a working property, so leave gates as you find them. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Deep Dime is a 400 acre cattle, fodder and irrigated grain farm. Our primary crop is Lucerne for hay. Creekside Camp (our main camping area) is relatively flat, well drained sites along a creek that usually runs. This area offers multiple composting toilets and wood powered hot water bush shower and outdoor bath. There is also a large permanent deep waterhole a short distance from this camping area. We have temporarily paused out Hill camp sites, due to continuing property maintenance and improvements. Loved camping at the ‘Stones throw’ site at Yabba creek! It had great access to the water for swimming and the creek was a lovely peaceful place to go out kayaking (kayaks provided). The whole property was beautiful and we loved how private our site was from the rest of the farm. Lovely place for the dog to run around and Kaylea and dean were very friendly and checked in on us after storms, they also made sure to let us know about all the walking paths and facilities around which was very helpful. No bins or showers but the site had a hose and the town just five mins up the road had plenty of skip bins available.

Great spot at Site 2 a stones throw from Kennilworh but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. If is hot, a five minute walk down to the Mary river for a dip. Shane was welcoming and helpful. Plenty to do in and around Kenilworth, hiking 4WDing, swimming holes and don't forget 2 try the "coffee donut" in town.

Directions and communication were clear. Price was good. Surrounds were beautiful. Fire pits for each site and options on where to camp within each site were good too. It was peaceful. Pretty. Inviting. I would stay here again for sure! The goat curry was so yumm and good help when I made enquiries about my food intolerances. I got to camp in a thunderstorm and the place was even more beautiful the morning after. There was one goat who was very friendly and I enjoyed watching the shaggy cows stand in the creek and the kids chase each other up the banks. This was a very good experience

I absolutely loved my stay at Yabba Creek farm! I was at the Stone's throw site - very close easy access to the creek and we'll spaced out from other sites. So great that they provide a firepit and kayaks to use - it's a stunning place to paddle! Kaylea and Dean could not have been more helpful and welcoming - a really lovely couple who have done a fantastic job creating a beautiful place for camping. I hope to come back again!!

Such a lovely peaceful place to stay for a couple of nights. Loved the outdoor bath to cool down in with a cold beer in the afternoon! The creek was a bit high and muddy due to the rain when we first got there so didn’t swim but loved how the hosts had set up chairs and swing seats for those hot summer days of swimming.

We were only a 300 metre walk from the main swimming hole. With lake frontage, shaded camp sites. A great weekend even with rainy weather. Will definitely come back to Bushywood!

We had a great camp setup at Pilgrims Rest! They aren’t kidding when they say 4x4 only. It was our first experience towing our van in these conditions: steep, rocky and creek crossings. (We nailed it). Got in and out of camp no issues even though it was a little tight. Excellent creek for the kids to explore right in eye sight of camp. A few cars came by but nothing that was disturbing. Had some visitors (cows and horses). Quiet and remote. No phone service. Star-link worked until the weather kicked off. We had a deluge in the afternoon and overnight. Anita came down in the morning to check the creek crossings on our departure day. Advised us to head off as soon as possible due to the possibility of being flooded in. Great hosts. Good communication and excellent directions given. If we are in the area again we would visit again.

If you are looking to get away, put your feet up, switch off and recharge, then this is your perfect spot to enjoy the serenity of farm life with the added mountain views. We have potable bore water, electricity connection, picnic table and bench and firepit. We have two powered caravan sites that can also double up as tent sites. Ideally you should be self sufficient. Our bore has a solar pump that is rigged up to the water tank at the camp kitchen. Please turn the tap off once you have finished filling up your containers or caravan tanks. Bore water is potable, so can be used for cooking, cleaning, pets, etc. Any cooking implements and tools that you might need during your stay can be provided at request. Dogs are welcome, just please be mindful of our free ranging chickens, which are generally located at the top of the farm, near the big new shed. We have a calf and mini goats that you are welcome to help us feed. We are also looking at providing yoga, tai chi and meditation classes in the near future and are also setting up more sites at the back of the property as well as providing access to the creek in the summer. Please ensure that you are mindful of our neighbours, no loud noises between 9pm and 7am and kindly clean up after yourselves and take your rubbish with you, as we don't have garbage collection at the property. Nanango has a lovely vibe. It's Queensland's oldest and friendliest town. There are great playgrounds, swimming pool and cart racing in town, which is only about 10 minutes away from the farm. Kingaroy is about half an hour away. There is a great off roading spot in the forest that is literally up the road from us. According to previous campers it's perfect for beginners. Twilight Grove is 120 acres of horse paddocks and peaceful natural bushland adjoining 2500 acres of State Forest. The property gives a safe haven for all native animals. The Croft provides a quiet place to sit relax and take in the fresh air. We With 49 species of birds and clear skies above at night to shine a light on how big the universe is. We are also home to endangered GREATER GLIDERS at The Croft! You will have a 5-acres to explore during your visit with a large flat campsite area with power and water if that is what you need. The onsite caravan – BETTY – is available for you if you need a bit more of a glamping holiday. Toilet is a composting toot. Self sufficient sites are available as well in another part of The Croft property near the dam and is accessed via the main property. Options for visitors are tailored for the horse rider however you don’t need a horse to visit and enjoy what The Croft has to offer. You can also spend time with the horses here with a variety of experiences available as extras and as part of package deals and our flag ship Back in the Saddle retreat option. There are many things to do in Blackbutt as well as spending some time at The Croft. Every 3rd Sunday is our market day, the renowned Blackbutt Bakery is always at your disposal and a great pub for a pub grub night. The horse trails network is 500m up the road and has signage with town 1 hour ride away which I can take you on a ride to on the 3rd Sunday Market Day! I have access to the rail trail via private property, or otherwise you can utilise Staines Road to get into Benarkin State Forestry or the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Dogs are also welcome who are well behaved and on a leash if others have horses with them. Please note that you MUST ensure your dog has tick prevention prior to arrival. Bookings require pre approval please. This is non negotiable to prepare for your stay. All welcome to visit and please enjoy a campsite that will only ever have 2 bookings at a time in the 1 acre camping area. THIS IS THE AUSSIE BUSH so please if you cant handle smells and snakes, try the HYATT in NOOSA!
