The campsite has lovely green grass, access to the pool and a picnic table, and fire pit. Compost toilet, hot bush shower and rubbish/recycling facilities.
We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs.
We are located just 35 mins from Caloundra and 45 from Maroochydore. We are close to Australia Zoo, Ewen Maddock Dam, Maleny and Glasshouse Mountains. Enjoy mountain walks and cycling.

Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. There is also no charge or fee to use the court. On most Sundays afternoons (weather permitting), we have social tennis where everyone is welcome to join in.
The old school toilet blocks have the addition of hot showers and all toilet facilities are the flushing type.
Campfires are permitted and there are small mobile fire pits provided so wherever you set up camp you can have your campfire right beside you.
Note: There are no ground fires permitted and at certain times of the year Qld Rural Fire brigade may enforce a total fire ban.

Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. The old school toilet blocks have the addition of hot showers and all toilet facilities are the flushing type.

I needed a break away from the hustle and bustle of the city and Jimna Base Camp was the absolute perfect location! Spotlessly clean amenities and plenty of room. Peace and tranquility, surrounded by trees and birds! Pete’s hospitality was 5 star, and I absolutely loved my time there! Gorgeous bush walks, swims in the creek, chats over coffee with the locals all adds to the appeal! Will definitely be back!

I loved the place. All the spots are beautiful but the owner Glen went out of his way to mow us a quieter spot on a different property because there was a doof close by which was quite loud and would’ve ruined our night.

Really nice space! The sites not too close to each other but close enough to hear babies crying from other sites. Clean and working showers and toilets, cute animals and a little shop with things you might have forgotten, ice, firewood and a proper coffee! Only thing to complain about is the grass was a bit long on my site, not sure if others had been cut. Also my site was a bit hard to find a flat spot for my tent, seemed to be slightly downhill anywhere I put it! I would still stay again, maybe request a different spot next time if one was available

My family and I had a great time at Happy Hut, there was 11 of us with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The camp kitchen had everything we needed, even a full size fridge. There are lots of places a short drive away to visit like Maroochy River and the Big Pineapple. We will definitely be back in the future.

Cooroy Caravan Park was very quiet and peaceful, and our dog loved walking up the street (which has stunning mountain views) and around the lake. Kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities were handy.

Enjoyed our stay at the Bamboozle campsite. Lovely weather and green scenic spot with easy access to the Mary river. Our two dogs had a great time off leash. Plenty of shade and only a short 5 minute drive into Kenilworth. Would stay here again.

Camped in the flat hill section and only had to share with 2 other groups so nice and quiet. 2 sets of toilets and showers on the property which were always clean and tidy.
Only mild complaint would be the grass at the site and the path to the toilet were slightly overgrown.

Incredible spot! We couldn’t be happier with our stay at the Happy Hut. Owners were so accomodating and kind. We will DEFINITELY be back! Facilities are great! Indoor shower plus an outdoor shower and bathtub which was awesome!

A Lovely little park . We chose the garden site , backing onto a little creek with grass and shade trees - cool for our dog, and a decent space between neighbours. The little pool was a godsend for our grandson.
