Also if you are making a booking for more than five people, you'll need to do two bookings, so that we don't end up overcrowded. Thank you. Self sufficient campers are preferred. If you are looking to get away, put your feet up, switch off and recharge, then this is your perfect spot to enjoy the serenity of farm life with the added mountain views. We have potable bore water, electricity connection, picnic table and bench and firepit. We have two powered caravan sites that can also double up as tent sites. Ideally you should be self sufficient. Our bore has a solar pump that is rigged up to the water tank at the camp kitchen. Please turn the tap off once you have finished filling up your containers or caravan tanks. Bore water is potable, so can be used for cooking, cleaning, pets, etc. Any cooking implements and tools that you might need during your stay can be provided at request. Dogs are welcome, just please be mindful of our free ranging chickens, which are generally located at the top of the farm, near the big new shed. We have a calf and mini goats that you are welcome to help us feed. We are also looking at providing yoga, tai chi and meditation classes in the near future and are also setting up more sites at the back of the property as well as providing access to the creek in the summer. Please ensure that you are mindful of our neighbours, no loud noises between 9pm and 7am and kindly clean up after yourselves and take your rubbish with you, as we don't have garbage collection at the property. Nanango has a lovely vibe. It's Queensland's oldest and friendliest town. There are great playgrounds, swimming pool and cart racing in town, which is only about 10 minutes away from the farm. Kingaroy is about half an hour away. There is a great off roading spot in the forest that is literally up the road from us. According to previous campers it's perfect for beginners. Weekend Trip to Hope Valley

Our family had such a wonderful weekend away at Anita’s beautiful property. It was so peaceful, we explored the area on foot, along the creek and also in our 4WD up to a lookout high on the ridge. The horses visited us at our cabin several times, which was a highlight. The cabin was so private we felt like we had the property to ourselves. Definitely need a 4WD! And the drive to Anita’s property is so beautiful too.

My man and I loved tent camping along the water. The sunset views and starry nights were to die for. So peaceful and the ladies who run the stay were absolutely wonderful. While packing up my car wouldn't start so they came down and fixed my car. Dogs were so cute and my puppy had an amazing time swimming in the dam. As a young couple with a dog, this place was perfect.

Very quiet lovely open rolling green fields, lots of flat areas, the dam was lovely and warm for swimming or kayaking and the river walk on the river side was very pretty. Internet service was very hit and miss couldn't monitor the storm activity

Weekend Trip to Bunya Red Farm

Mandy and Alan were very welcoming. They greeted us on arrival, gave us the lay of the land and the rundown on the amenities. About 4ish, Alan came dosn and rounded up the 4 kids and whisked them off into the next yard to feed the alpacas. Unfortunately we got rained out and couldn't stay the planned two nights, but the kids had a ball mucking about in the rain and chasing the frogs about. The amenities are fantastic - best campground shower I've ever had. The kitchen area is well-configured and we found anything we hsd forgotten to pack was probably in there. I'm definitely keen to stay again, hopefully during some cooler and more predictable weather.

Loved our week at Windyridge creekside camp! Hosts were great, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Had the beautifully maintained site to ourselves. Had access to lovely waterhole and creek for a refreshing dip! The beautiful trees give awesome shade. Saw Wallabies and galahs morning and evenings, and so many beautiful birdsongs to wake up to! Purchased some eggs from the hosts which were delicious too! There is a dirt road that runs along the property with a small amount of vehicles passing by but didn’t bother us. We would love to come back again. Thanks Kelly

1 night at Bunya Red Farm

Bunya Red Farm was really fantastic! The caper farm tour was very interesting (and delicious) and feeding the alpacas was a highlight. The grounds were so picturesque with farmland views in all directions. We loved the star-filled night sky and serenity of the place. Mandy and Allen were incredible hosts. Would recommend a stay in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Aussie bush property on the Mary river, plus a spring fed lake with beautiful water. The mornings were great foggy cool mornings , the weather had been dry for a whole Le so the grass was getting hard and dry, the horses are beautiful and love a pat. Playing golf on the makeshift gym of coarse was a bit of fun with the boys. The only problem we had was someone on an adjacent property was having what they called a party to all hours of the morning so you could just hear the bass till 7am, but that can happen anywhere. Would go again.

We stayed over the October weekend & while it was very busy, we still felt like we had enough space on our site. The amenities were cleaned regularly & we really enjoyed that warm shower! Hosts were wonderful, we felt very welcomed :-). It was a bit of a hike up to the toilet/shower but on wonderful property! Would see us coming back to try it out when it’s not the long weekend off for everyone to get a bit more of the healing 🌞

Beautiful and peaceful property. It was one of the busiest times of the year but they kept the number of people low. Heather and Co. were always up for a chat over the coffee machine in the morning. It's only a few kms off the hiway but we couldn't hear any traffic. A dip in the dam is a nice refreshing way to start the day. If you want peace and quiet, this is the perfect spot for you.

Amazing place to come with 3 little kids. Woke up to beautiful horses which the whole family loved. The river was absolutely stunning to swim in and the kids caught some bass also whilst walking up to the rapids was priceless. It was a total fire ban and wasn't Vanessa's fault and camping without a fire sux but realistically you don't need one here which was weird for us 😆 and awesome at the same time. You can golf here also and had full phone reception . Lagoon offered free kayaking. Totally recommend and definitely will return in the near future.
