Come and relax at our flat, peaceful 5 acre hobby farm. Most animals wander around example the sheep, ducks and chooks, pig. So tough plastic boxes are great to hide your food items. We have a mini pig (Splat) that has her own paddock but she likes to socialise. I'm waiting for fencer to get her back in her paddock again. She loves affection.. 😆 She is super gentle and loves belly rubs and pats. sometimes the horses are at nearby agistment so, ask if the horses cam be here for your visit. Baby animals are seasonal, ducklings and baby chicks in summer and lambs after winter roughly. There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in. We have firewood for sale, and I make a great expresso coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself. Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow, for sale or Make a donation and buy it... The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam, Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all closeby. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. If you do an instant booking and I don't see it or reply, don't stress, as your welcome to drive on in and straight up the laneway to the back paddock area. I'm sure you will see other campers too and set up where ever you like. Just close gates again and I will meet you later if we are out. We are a very short 900m bicycle ride from the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (BRVT) which is one of the must-do cycle treks in the southern hemisphere. If you or your crew need a place to stay while riding the trail then this is perfect for you. The town of Esk and two major dams are very close by where you can browse the antique shops, waterski, or fish to your heart's content. We are also close to Fernvale where there are big Sunday Markets.

She loves affection.. 😆 She is super gentle and loves belly rubs and pats. sometimes the horses are at nearby agistment so, ask if the horses cam be here for your visit. Baby animals are seasonal, ducklings and baby chicks in summer and lambs after winter roughly. There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in. We have firewood for sale, and I make a great expresso coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself. Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow, for sale or Make a donation and buy it... The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam, Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all closeby. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. This 10 acre property is located on the banks of Taromeo Creek, a quiet and peaceful camping location with great birdwatching. Taromeo Creek is a seasonal creek and is sometimes dry and sometimes flowing. When the water is flowing there are a number of water holes along the creek. Close to the local town of Blackbutt and only one and a half hours drive north west of Brisbane. Also close to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail which offers 162kms of recreational trail for you to hike, bike or horse ride; with a local golf course nearby. Mount Binga National Park is close by which has areas to ride and hike. The annual Avocado festival which runs on the second weekend in September is always a popular time to visit. Our campsites vary and are spread across our 86 acres to give you as much privacy as possible. ​We had a fantastic 2-night, 3-day stay at this peaceful property in Lowood, hosted by the wonderful Lynette and Lauren. This is the ideal spot for true off-grid camping. ​Important Note on Facilities: This is a primitive camp, meaning there are no shower or toilet facilities. Campers must be fully self-sufficient, but if you're prepared, the reward is pure quiet and space. ​What it lacks in amenities, it makes up for in space and charm. There is plenty of open land and the entire experience was incredibly relaxing. The check-in and check-out process was easy and seamless. ​The absolute highlight was the friendly resident horses! We highly recommend you pack carrots and apples to make some new friends. ​For restocking supplies like wood and ice, the town of Lowood is only a quick 5-minute drive away. The staff were really great! The first night we were there, there was a group who were loud throughout the night and in the morning Doug was really proactive about getting everyone's feelings about them and moved them further away from everyone. Apart from that, even though it was a long weekend, it didn't feel like we were all camping on top of each other's spaces! We had lots of fun!

Michaela's place is delighted with creativities. There are art installations, studios, and even karaoke bar with lots of custumes to choose. We enjoyed our camping time with doggos and horses. Besides, each camp ground is huge and far from eachother. We even had a dam view in the front of our camp ground! Michaela always responds messages instantly and helped us a lot. :)) Would definitely recommend to come!

One of the best camping experience we had. Campsites are evenly spaced. Liza greets you and is very responsive to questions. The host, Jim, treats you like family. He is a very warm host. He gets to visit you and see how you go. He also is very sharp and friendly. Even explained Emma is the name of one of their pups and get to name the place Emmaton. Hot and cold shower is available. Toilet is clean. Campsite is clean. You can pitch a tent or rent on of their cottage. Watching NRL Grand Finals with Jim is very memorable. Definitely going back again to Emmaton park. See you soon Jim!
