My sister and I camped at Grey Gums in tents with our toddlers and teens! It was a beautiful spot, plenty of room for everyone to space out and still have room to play! The scenery is absolutely stunning! Theres a beautiful creek with amazing mountain views. With horses and Daisy the cow behind you! Dean was an absolutely gem, he entertained our little ones with feeding the chickens and turkey! Kaylea was so wonderful with our toddlers and walking them around for pony rides! They are amazing hosts, helped us with local spots to go and anything we needed! Yabba Creek Farm is an unbeatable hidden gem, was the perfect spot for our toddlers first camping trip, we will definitely be going back again!

This was a camp ground we will not forget and definitely keen to come back too. Silky oaks site was beautiful with a great view. We had good fun with the Kayaks and the kids loved the animal petting. Hosts were amazing and so welcoming. You can definitely tell how much love and care they put into presenting the property

If you love amazing vistas, the sound of wind dancing through the trees, a star filled night sky as your blanket, and an incredible sunrise all to yourself, then this is for you! It’s private it’s cosy and the host is so friendly. Highly recommend purchasing some of the farm wagyu too it was delicious on the open camp fire! Will be back!

Fantastic Campsite, amazing views and lovely hosts. Free kayak to use on the river were a great addition. The hosts went went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and huge bonus with the pony rides for the kids, aswell as showing us some of their other animals. We will be back again in the future and %100 recommend staying here.

Great spot with beautiful green grass - wish the river had been a bit cleaner to enjoy the kayaks (we visited after a lot of rain)! Toilets were always nice and clean. Lots of horses and farm birds around too. Highly recommend this spot.

We loved camping at Yabba Creek Farm. The tent site was very private and very close to the creek. It's a short walk to the toilet and water. Bring your own supply of water if you don't want to carry it back to the campsite. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and very helpful if you needed anything. It was a very peaceful and relaxing spot.

We absolutely loved our stay at Yabba Creek Farm! To be honest all the sites dotted around the property were very special and unique and would stay again on any of them. For us our stay on Mountain View was magical. That Mountain really was a sight to breathe in every day! We will be back and bring our family tribe next time. Riverdell

Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek, west of The Junction carpark above the camp site to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots are highly recommended. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). Caravans are not permitted due to the steep terrain. A Portaloo is located between the Ocean View 1 and 2 sites and a second Portaloo is located centrally and within walking distance to The Knoll, Upper Plateau, Valley View and Little Bunya campsites. There are no facilities at The Junction, and you MUST be self-contained. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

Maluka Park

Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other. During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. Kayaks are provided free of charge for all campers to use in Yabba Creek. Please treat them respectfully and return them back to their launching place just below the powerlines. If you wish to bring along your own kayak, you can launch them at the walkway between campsite 8 and 9 where our camp kayaks are stored, however, cars are restricted from driving down to the water edge so you will have to carry them to the water to launch them. Please note that you are responsible for your own kayak. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Yabba Creek Farm

Yabba Creek Farm is located along the Yabba Creek just west of Imbil. Only 3km past Imbil township and 10km to Borumba Dam. The property boast exquisite views of the Yabba Creek bordering Mount Grainger and forestry as our backdrop. Make use of the free kayak hire. It is a must do so you can see what makes this area so popular. There are deep swimming holes as well as shallow areas for the little ones. Our access to property and sites is not affected by heavy rain or minor flooding *** Please note there is a rifle range within a few kilometres of the farm. You can hear the distant echos when range is open during some weekends FYI *** Yabba creek Farm is one of three Hipcamps along this stretch of Yabba Creek. To the west is Maluka Park - runner up Hipcamp 2022 and finalist 2023 in Australia. To the east is Yabba Ridge with an abundance of unique animals you can see across the paddock from Yabba Creek Farm. These campsites are really hidden gems. Be sure to book early as we are gaining popularity with limited bookings available. Camps are spaced out along a manicured 300m creek frontage. There is a total of 1km creek frontage on Yabba Creek Farm for your to explore. Attractions include kayaking - provided and are free to use, hiking in adjacent Imbil state forest and wildlife watching. Platypus are frequently sighted in the Yabba creek. Lungfish can also be viewed while kayaking or snorkelling. Koalas, wallabies, gonnas and an abundance of bird life are also commonly sighted. Dogs are welcome on very strict conditions as we have farm animals including, chickens, horses and a turkey, so must remain secure on a leash at all times. Dogs with hunting or chasing nature are not welcome for the safety of our animals and wildlife. Porta toilet available. BYO if you wish to camp further away from main area. Second hire toilet during peak season. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Weekends and holidays we provide farm experiences for the kids with feeding and petting with ponies and pony ride for the little kids, chickens and turkey. Woombye Rainforest Escape

Located on picturesque Blackall Range Road, Woombye on the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Ideally suited for self contained campers, offering complete privacy, in natural rainforest setting with lots of native birds and little wallabies and a night sky full of stars. The site is accessed by vehicle (4WD recommended, especially in wet conditions) on a 700 metre bush track, with a variety of camping options - including swags/tents and off-road caravans. Guests have their own exclusive camping area with fire pit, hammocks and fresh water streams. As we are nestled in the rainforest, phone reception can vary, which is perfect for stepping away from day to day life (but it is possible to head back to the entrance to pick up better coverage) The area offers a variety of nature walks and only 10 minutes to town of Woombye, Palmwoods, Montville, Hinterland National Parks and also convenient access to the many beaches and attractions on the coast.
