The property is on the Brisbane River, the site offers river glimpses however there is no river access. Suitable for tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield. You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves. Supermarket, bottle shop, takeaways, cafe and pharmacy less that 4 km away. Campfires are permitted. The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, there are four sites available to be booked. There is a camp kitchen with a two gas burner, all pots and pans, plates and cutlery with table and chairs to sit at. There is also a big esky there to use for either your food or drinks. Fresh water is provided in twenty litre drums. The bush shower works on the keg being heated up just like a kettle. Once it is hot then a nice warm shower is to be had to wash off all the salt from the ocean. There is also two compost toilets for your convenience. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. 10 minutes and you are at the pub mixing with the locals. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is required. Camper trailers can be brought in as they are light. Caravans are not permitted due to the tight turning circles.

Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. The campsites offer lush green grass and are set on the bank of the Logan river where you can go fishing. We have a boat ramp that you can use to put your boat, kayak or jet ski in. Weekend Trip to Empyrean Fields Rochedale

Great location to explore Brisbane and Gold Coast theme parks. We tripped into Brisbane twice and it was so easy with the translink nearby. Grass is overgrown and could be mowed especially the entrance way. The turn into the driveway is a bit tight off the road as you come in but we managed it with our 22ft van. A great quiet spot with lots of space and reasonably priced for larger families in the area. I’d

Absolutely gorgeous spot for a getaway and chance to unplug from the world and relax. Would highly recommend bringing a bunch of board games, a nice puzzle and face masks for the ultimate relaxing experience. Just note that the suite is attached to the main house and you will need to walk past their front door to get to and from. But Rose and Russel are lovely and the suite still felt private.

The most breathtaking views and friendly visitors each day (horses). Sites were very well spaced out so you have full privacy. Great dam to swim in also. Kids, adults and dogs all had a fantastic time. It was the perfect way to have a “camping Christmas”. Viola was also very responsive and generous. We will definitely be back!

Great campsite, nice and close to Brisbane so easy to get to. Enjoyed the 4WD track on the way in, was a bit of a challenge! Luckily we had a bit of rain so there was water in the creek and we got a swim.

Weekend Trip to Relaxing Rural Retreat

My wife and I enjoyed the seclusion of this property, the bird life was amazing. We weren't expecting the very steep mountain track to the sites but we took it in our stride because we have our trusty Nissan Patrol which got us down to our very secluded spot. Very peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

Rangetop Camp is a great place to stay with beautiful views of the Glass House Mountains. There are lots of horses roaming around the campsite, which gives it a nice farm feel, though there is also plenty of horse poo around so it is something to be aware of. Our site was at the highest point and had amazing views. That said, the campsites do not have much protection from strong winds, which could be an issue on windy days. Overall, it is an amazing spot and we really enjoyed our stay.

6 nights at Riverfront Hobby Farmstay

We settled in for a week-long stay, camping in tents beneath the mango trees, and absolutely loved it. The hosts were wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and great to communicate with. We especially enjoyed visits from Ockie and Arlo, the adorable sausage dogs, who added so much character to our stay. Camping felt private and peaceful, with plenty of space for our two vehicles and two tents. Falling asleep to bird sounds and watching the nightly bat visitor swoop in to steal mangoes was a real highlight. Having access to a water tap and a GPO was a great bonus. Being the only campers over the Christmas period made it feel extra special and incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend—such a lovely place and lovely hosts.

Good directions to the farm, and easy access to our campsite. Stunning views day and night with fellow campers a discrete distance away. Peaceful and neat surrounds, with lots of space to walk and explore. Beautiful big dam/lake to swim in and cool off on warm days. We loved our stay. Thank you Viola.

The camp sites were huge. Great access to the lake. Kids loved the slide and we all loved the privacy. Over all very happy with the stay. I would highly recommend regardless if it is fam time or just a couples retreat

Marcus and family were very inviting, even inviting me to have xmas dinner with them, had a great stay xmas eve, with a very secluded camp site for a single ⛺️ perfect for adventure motorcycles and 4x4 great property enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds singing. Highly recommend if after quite bush camping.

We absolutely loved camping at Rangetop Camp! The views were spectacular, it was so scenic and peaceful. About a 10min drive from Dayboro town where we often frequented the delicious bakery! The horses roaming around were very friendly and provided a beautiful extra experience to our trip. We will definitely be booking in again!
