Our farm also offers unique elevated views of the local farming area with a backdrop of The Great Dividing Range, the Coral Sea and Port Douglas. There is also an impressive variety of butterflies and bird life to enjoy.
Hosts are happy to show campers around our market garden that we start cultivating after the wet season and usually continue until December - weather dependant.
Guests will have access to a portable fire place during their stay as well as a BBQ grill and hotplate. Firewood is available for purchase.
We have electricity available from the vacant cottage at $25/night. Must be booked through Extras.
Our 150acre property has spectacular mountain views, as well as views to Port Douglas and the Coral Sea. There are small creeks on the property that attract birdlife and have a variety of freshwater fish and turtles in them. Nearby there are several larger creeks for cooling off, and properties with horses, cattle and sugarcane. We are a 15min drive to Mossman, the closest town, and 45mins south to Port Douglas or north to the Daintree township. You can take a shortcut to the road to Daintree via the WWII Japanese Miallo Bombing Memorial.

Our Food & Beverage van is now open and offers a variety of food choices. Open daily from 12pm to 8.00pm (season dependent) we invite our guests and locals to come and enjoy our beautiful park setting.

Yindilli Camping Ground is set amongst some of the most beautiful open eucalypt forests and rainforests of north Queensland and is located on the CREB Track, a popular 4WD tourist route. Nearby is the iconic Roaring Meg Falls.
The track is not suitable for towing caravans. We are 38klms from Daintree Village on the CREB Track (also known as Upper Daintree Rd) and it will take about 2.5hrs to drive as the road is unsealed, steep in sections and narrow. Be aware of weather conditions before travelling on this road as minimal rainfall can make the track slippery.
An alternative route to Yindilli Camping ground is from the northern end of the track from Bloomfield via the China Camp Rd or the Zig Zag Track - both meet up with the CREB Track. We are 27klms from Bloomfield or 1 hour to drive, this section is graded regularly and easy to traverse in the dry season.The campsites have access to a freshwater creek for swimming and relaxing. The birdlife is abundant, including the occasional glimpse of a Cassowary. Camp sites are on 2.5ha of lush green lawns, lots of shade and within metres of a fresh water creek for swimming and relaxing.

Telsta has coverage in this area and the closest convenience store is 14km (Nine Mile Store) or Woolworths shopping centre, Mossman 25km.

Yindilli Camping Ground is set amongst some of the most beautiful open eucalypt forests and rainforests of north Queensland and is located on the CREB Track, a popular 4WD tourist route. Nearby is the iconic Roaring Meg Falls.
The track is not suitable for towing caravans. We are 38klms from Daintree Village on the CREB Track (also known as Upper Daintree Rd) and it will take about 2.5hrs to drive as the road is unsealed, steep in sections and narrow. Be aware of weather conditions before travelling on this road as minimal rainfall can make the track slippery.
An alternative route to Yindilli Camping ground is from the northern end of the track from Bloomfield via the China Camp Rd or the Zig Zag Track - both meet up with the CREB Track. We are 27klms from Bloomfield or 1 hour to drive, this section is graded regularly and easy to traverse in the dry season.The campsites have access to a freshwater creek for swimming and relaxing. The birdlife is abundant, including the occasional glimpse of a Cassowary. Camp sites are on 2.5ha of lush green lawns, lots of shade and within metres of a fresh water creek for swimming and relaxing.

A very welcoming place where the owners Steve and Jacq are absolutely lovely. We stayed in the on-site caravan which was very clean and comfortable. On the outdoor porch we had our own fridge, sink, bbq and a lovely view of the rainforest. There’s also a fully equiped common kitchen area and very clean toilets and showers. It was our little puppy Poppy’s first trip away and she was barking at most sounds but Jacq was so lovely to reassure us that we were far enough away from others not to disturb them. Poppy also enjoyed a dip in the river which is a 2 min walk from the caravan. We felt very comfortable and safe with the clothing being optional even though we didn’t have ours off. We will definitely be back. Thank you for creating a safe space for all.

The sunset views were amazing from our spot and having the creek so close made it even better for not only us but the dogs. Lovely breeze that would come through every now and then and the colds nights made sleeping that little bit more after a long day of swimming. Even caught a fish which was the highlight and something to definitely do again. A great camping spot for all families and pets to enjoy together.

We camped at site 2 with our 2 year old. It was beautiful! The crystal clear creek had lovely sandy banks perfect for digging and playing. The clearing was huge with plenty of room for the little one to cruise around on his balance bike. Debra was lovely and so easy to communicate with, she dropped off some Easter treats and some lovely bananas from the farm. Thanks so much for our stay :)

Campsite was great, very remote and a good drive in. We went to the 4wd access only spot with a 4wd & Jayco swift (outback/4wd) - got through ok, it was a fair drive in. One river crossing. The campsite was mowed and cleared for our camp in three different spots, so we could camp either up top or down near river. Both with fire pits. Creek was running and nice and shallow for kids and to sit in. Beautiful quiet, surrounded by bush. Toilet always a bonus with kids!
It was a near perfect camp - except the fruit flies or some sort of little flies that hung around your head in droves and were determined to fly into our eyes. I think maybe they been stirred up by the rain so keen to try camp again in dry season as the cold seem to keep them away. Will take a fly screen hat next time! Other than that, beautiful spot. Thanks for having us.

Had a wonderful time camping with my dog at Twitchers Hill. Great birdwatching without needing to drive anywhere and fabulous hosts and facilities. My second visit and I can't wait to come back. Thanks Theresa for a lovely stay again.
