Our amenity buildings have undertaken a fresh makeover which now provides state of the art washing machines and dryers with tap and go payment options - no need for coins. A vending machine for that late afternoon or evening snack, immaculately clean bathrooms and a camp kitchen with shared facilities for those campers who like to do their own thing. Our Food & Beverage van is now open and offers a variety of food choices. Open daily from 12pm to 8.00pm (season dependent) we invite our guests and locals to come and enjoy our beautiful park setting. With a multitude of accommodation options for the most discerning guest, Daintree Beach Resort is becoming the destination, not just a place to stay.

Thank you who camped this year. We have « closed » our area from mid January to April. If you wish to camp during that time message us on Hipcamp, and we will endeavour to see if it is possible. Please note, our rates are per vehicle per night ( if you have an additional vehicle, just book an additional site or additional nights. This assists in avoiding overcrowding) There is NO access to our property from Kuranda end! Visitors need to go through Mareeba A beautiful 160 acre paddock that you can enjoy. Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track. Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude} Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway. Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough. There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs. Water can be supplied upon request. Power generators are permitted . There may be minimal mobile service with Telstra. Campfire will only be permitted within fire pit. All campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace behind. Checkout is generally when you feel like it. Dog friendly. Site may be closed in the wet season from December to April, once monsoonal events occur

Please Note: Cattle Creek and Waterfront Campsites are accessible by 2WD. The other campsites are 4WD access only and with off road campers/caravans only (high clearance to get through a dry creek crossing). These are self contained sites so please take your own shower and toilet facilities and take away all waste. Well behaved dogs are allowed but must be supervised at all times for the protection of the sheep, poultry, wildlife and not to be brought to the house yard. Sorry no motorbikes or ATV’s. Juliet and Grant have been custodians since 2003, in that time we've built a house, raised a family and now that Alex and Hayley are both at University, life has become a little quieter, (not so sure if we like the quiet though!) Now we've only just started with Hipcamp, we do have a lot to discover, happy to listen and learn. We do offer plenty of space and you will not be crowded out as we keep numbers very limited. No facilities, no toilets, showers, electricity, rubbish bins etc. We do ask that you respect this as you must be fully self contained. We do not consider, a bucket with a lid, to be self contained ok! Right now though in our top dam, we have a flock of White Egrets roosting at night, spectacular when they depart & return each day, however due to the number of these birds, hundreds if not more! they have fouled the water in the dam & it's a bit on the nose.

Our private tropical oasis, on the doorstep of the Daintree Rainforest has seen many guests return year after year to enjoy this perfect piece of paradise. With our exciting changes, we look forward to seeing the resort evolve from a sleepy caravan park, to a vibrant resort style property with a variety of accommodation options, food and beverage offerings, new and improved facilities plus a new resort style pool and beach bar which we are hoping to confirm in 2025. In May 2024, we completed the first of our glamping pavilions. These pavilions have allowed us to provide our first step of offering a variety of accommodation options for our discerning guests. This project received tourism grant funding from the Australian Government, which has allowed us to expand on our original concept and has made the glamping pavilions really quite special. Our amenity buildings have undertaken a fresh makeover which now provides state of the art washing machines and dryers with tap and go payment options - no need for coins. A vending machine for that late afternoon or evening snack, immaculately clean bathrooms and a camp kitchen with shared facilities for those campers who like to do their own thing. Our Food & Beverage van is now open and offers a variety of food choices. Open daily from 12pm to 8.00pm (season dependent) we invite our guests and locals to come and enjoy our beautiful park setting. With a multitude of accommodation options for the most discerning guest, Daintree Beach Resort is becoming the destination, not just a place to stay.

Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track. Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude} Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway. Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough. There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs. Water can be supplied upon request. Power generators are permitted . There may be minimal mobile service with Telstra. Campfire will only be permitted within fire pit. All campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace behind. We had a wonderful stay here. Dean is an incredibly kind and welcoming host—he greeted us at the gate, showed us around the campground, and shared lots of helpful local advice. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, and the bathrooms were spotless and well maintained. The campground has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and being able to take a refreshing dip in the creek was a real highlight. Plenty of room to camp. Beautiful clean camp areas Toilets available and were in good condition. Lovely creek close to the sites. The Waterfall was a lovely walk but be parpared to walk 45 mins one way and not to get lost. They have a few arrows to guide you but towards the last bit down to the water no arrow and we got a bit lost.

A beautifully maintained property with loads of tropical fruit trees and bird life. The camp sites are well spread out so you can have your own space. The creek is private and great for swimming, with lots of different swimming spots. The waterfall hike is a well maintained easy going track through the untouched tropical rainforest. Please Note: Cattle Creek and Waterfront Campsites are accessible by 2WD. Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track. Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude} Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway. Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough. There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs. Water can be supplied upon request. Power generators are permitted . There may be minimal mobile service with Telstra. Campfire will only be permitted within fire pit. All campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace behind. Thank you who camped this year. We have « closed » our area from mid January to April. If you wish to camp during that time message us on Hipcamp, and we will endeavour to see if it is possible. Please note, our rates are per vehicle per night ( if you have an additional vehicle, just book an additional site or additional nights. This assists in avoiding overcrowding) There is NO access to our property from Kuranda end! Visitors need to go through Mareeba A beautiful 160 acre paddock that you can enjoy. Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track. Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude} Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway. Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough. There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs. Water can be supplied upon request. Power generators are permitted . There may be minimal mobile service with Telstra. Campfire will only be permitted within fire pit. All campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace behind. Checkout is generally when you feel like it. Dog friendly. Site may be closed in the wet season from December to April, once monsoonal events occur

This project received tourism grant funding from the Australian Government, which has allowed us to expand on our original concept and has made the glamping pavilions really quite special. Our amenity buildings have undertaken a fresh makeover which now provides state of the art washing machines and dryers with tap and go payment options - no need for coins. A vending machine for that late afternoon or evening snack, immaculately clean bathrooms and a camp kitchen with shared facilities for those campers who like to do their own thing. Our Food & Beverage van is now open and offers a variety of food choices. Open daily from 12pm to 8.00pm (season dependent) we invite our guests and locals to come and enjoy our beautiful park setting. With a multitude of accommodation options for the most discerning guest, Daintree Beach Resort is becoming the destination, not just a place to stay.
